Ann Taylor Store

I was at the mall today and thought I’d take the opportunity to visit the biggest and best Ann Taylor in the area. I was shocked to see they’d relocated to a tiny shoebox of a space-​about ½ the size of the Suburban Square store. What a disappointment. Definitely not a top location anymore.

I shop here often. The store has a wide selection of things and a large petite section. Lots of pastels and preppy things but also business casual stuff. The staff are very outgoing and for the most part friendly, but sometimes, I just feel that they can be pushy or aggressive.

If I could give stars for different categories I would.
5 stars for clothing and selection. This is the best Ann Taylor store in the region in terms of selection. I am petite and they have a large petite section. Also, they tend to have clothes in stock as well.
1 star for staff. Almost everyone I’ve encountered in this store is incredibly rude. The manager is the worst. It can be difficult to get staff members to help you and when they do they seem bothered about it. I have had a few pleasant staff members … but unfortunately they do not seem to be the norm.
I try and shop at Ann Taylor in Suburban Square as much as I can. But, often end up at KOP when Suburban Square doesn’t have a style in stock.

This is my favorite clothing store about 80% of the time. I can always find something for fun, something for work and something on sale. It’s probably a good thing it’s a long drive!
