Love it here. Great food, great beer. I wish that the servers had actual waitressing skills. Been here multiple times. Tip: sit at the bar. Servers aren’t good. I asked ours what the happy hour specials are & she didn’t know. She also was proud of herself when she delivered our 2nd round of drinks, 10 min after we ordered them. I’m 43 years old and have a better body and exponentially better customer service skills than our waitress. Update 1.28.16: upstairs female bartender is great. Has customer service skills! Love the new menu.

Stopped by on a late Saturday afternoon. Was kind of dead to be honest. However, it is definitely a good place to spend a day watching football or any sport. Plenty of TVs and extensive amount of beers.

Average food– nothing super special. my waitress(Ruth) had a really hard time well, doing her job period. She didn’t listen to what things I wanted with my appetizer and what I wanted with my meal. It took about 10 minutes to get a refill on water… She forgot to take something off the bill and didn’t even give me any«ones» as change for a tip, thanks for the two $ 10 bills. I probably wouldn’t go back except for happy hour, the prices aren’t worth the quality of service.

Bartender behind bar needs to smile and not make you feel like you are imposing in here. it’s very quiet in here…

I often go here with my coworker(who is a woman) on our lunch break. If you go here with your girlfriend you are just asking for trouble. The service is very fast and the food is good. We primarily go here because the food comes out so fast. We always sit at the bar, so unless you want the waitress to sit and talk to you then I recommend you sit at the bar. I honestly don’t understand the poor reviews. Would you go to McDonald’s expecting the best burger in town? Expect everything you would expect from hooters and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Pros: The girls have bigger boobs than the girls at Hooter’s(if you’re into that) Cons: Everything else. The service is mediocre. The food is downright awful. The décor is tacky. This all sounds so harsh– I guess in essence, Tilted Kilt is what it is — a bar for you twenty-somethings to watch sports, drink, and check out women. You’re certainly not looking for a culinary masterpiece here. My husband and I always mock it as we pass it «ooohhhh– you want to go to Tilted Kilt for dinner?» My honest opinion– go to Hooters — the food is better and you get the same scenary.

Makes Hooters look like a family restaurant. I went with a female and male friend and though we’re not prudes, we ALL felt uncomfortable with the waitresses outfits. The waitresses were very professional and nice BUT looking at butts and boobs is a bit unappetizing. We also witnessed male patrons slipping money down one waitress’s open blouse. And young boys from a local sport’s teams were there… um, ew. Food was mediocre at best. We all won’t be returning as we really don’t want to support a place with not so great food and one that supports exploiting females(male friend was adamant about this!) No, not our cup of tea at all. But if you enjoy meh food and a worse-than-Hooters-like environment… enjoy!

My first visit to a Tilted Kilt. I have to say, I am a fan. Food was not bad. Received my free nachos for checking in. The beer cheese is good. Had the blackened fish tacos. These were very good, I was presently surprised on how good they were. Now the real reason for the 5 stars and that would be my waitress, Paige. A very beautiful young lady who was extremely nice. I watched her as a group seated and showed up at different times and changes seat the whole time I watch, Paige took on the orders at the different times(which is very rude by the way) and she smiled and ran back and forth. Even with this she still would check on me and smiled. Oddly I don’t get the Hooters vibe here. All be it there is skin I just did not get the keeper business guy vibe here. Bottom line good food and from this experience great waitress.

Fine if you want to go for the view. If you are hungry, there are plenty of other places to spend your $$$ in KOP. The food is very much bar food. Nothing on the menu that calls to me. The Grilled Wings are about the best thing I’ve had here aside from the excellent bedside manner the girls have. That is what they are paid for, to look good, and be friendly with customers. They do both of these things very well, I just wish the food was better. And they got rid of the valet parking. Kildare’s PITA valet service is still here. How did that happen? I hate valet parking in the burbs. If you are in the city and it’s a big PITA to park, then valet may be the way to go. In the burbs, especially at this location with a fairly small and convenient parking lot, I see no point in offering this«service». I’m guessing the owner owns a valet company too. Kildare’s has been remodeled. The ceiling now opens up to the top floor. Altho I have not been upstairs, I understand it now has a pool table! Big plus in my book! Good place to go for drinks and watch a game, but not the best place to go for lunch in my book. Way too loud for conversation. Good bar scene, lots of friendly scantily clad servers, just need better food!

I’ll admit that I knew what I was getting into here, but it didn’t keep me from being shocked when I entered the building. I’ve been in said building numerous times, when it was known as Kildares. This was my beloved Wednesday night Quizzo haunt and home to many good times with friends I rarely get to see anymore. Even though we had all moved on, I was sad to hear of its closing. Later, when I heard another Irish pub themed place called The Tilted Kilt, was moving in, I thought it made sense. It’s just an irishy edifice and I’ll admit I was intrigued by the concept of an Irish Hooters. So when an old friend suggested we go somewhere different, it was the first place I thought of. Like I said, when I pushed open the familiar doors and my eyes adjusted to the dim lighting, I was a bit taken aback by the outfits these women wear. To say it’s revealing is an understatement. It makes Hooters look like a nunnery. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining but I tend to get a bit uncomfortable in these situations. Am I supposed to stare directly into their cleavage? We were sat in the main room. It was early and we were one of the first in there but as our meal progressed, the room filled up, not surprisingly by just men. Our server was as beautiful and statuesque as any woman I’ve seen in person. I have to hand it to these ladies because I was a tad chilly in their AC in regular clothes. Not sure how they function. The food. It is standard chain fare with an Irish slant. Their wings are decent but not memorable. I had a sandwich that was passable. Let’s face it, the food doesn’t have to be good here. Our server didn’t have to be a good one either but she was. Really attentive and efficient. She didn’t smile much though. I had to pull out some of my best jokes to get her to crack a smile. I noticed this on a few of the girls working the room. It was a demeanor that almost made it seem like they were there against their will which made the experience a little more unsettling for me. That said, I got a decent meal for a fair price. I think they deliver on their concept and I wish them well. I’ll probably be back when I want to impress another unsuspecting friend.

Came in middle of the day last week with a buddy for a couple beers. Horrible service behind the bar from Jenn B. Never smiled once and would not even go through beers on tap. Might be a decent place without her.

This is one of the friendliest places I know, our server, Chelsea was very helpful and her social skills were outstanding. I got the grilled wings and they were surprisingly very good! It’s my second visit to this location and I’m very satisfied.

That’s it this place is just ok. Now the service is 4 stars and if we were going on looks of the staff that would be 5 stars. But overall experience just 3. The menu is pretty good with a verity of different kinds of bar foods their beer and drink menu is pretty good they have almost anything you would want. Only been here once and I’d go back.

Food was decent but chain restaurant prices. Dry chicken breast. Fries were good. Beers well priced. That raised it to 3 stars. The service was similar to a b strip club. Kinda cute girls with weird Halloween costumes on. Rock music. Lots of tv’s.

I gave them one more shot today just because I was in the area. One plate of grilled Garlic Parmesan wings later, and I now think I may have been a little harsh in my first review over a year ago. Yes, this place suffers from the chain restaurant problem in that you don’t know if you’re going to get quality every time, as evidenced by the fact that the kitchen was slow due to being understaffed today apparently. Also evidenced by the fact that I’ve had a subpar meal here before. But I do think that the grilled wings, although slightly overpriced at 10.50 for nine of them, have a flavor that I’d definitely choose this place over a certain chain restaurant within a ¼ mile from here more known for their wings. So they get a star added to them from before. I’m nice that way. Plus, a kudo to my waitress, Adrienne, for proactively noticing that I had dropped a glob of dressing on my shirt(a far too often occurrence for me), and offered to bring seltzer water and a new napkin for me to clean up. It’s a small thing, but you don’t see that everywhere. So she gets a gold star for the day and a good tip of course.

This place was great. I went here to eat out with a couple of my friends. The atmosphere was great. Waitresses were so sweet and nice. And mad sexy. The food was perfect and delicious. I personally recommend the chefs steak. It was huge a lot bigger than I was expecting. Completely took me for a surprise. It was a fantastic experience. The even have complementary valet parking. I have absolutely no negative comments. It was a plus to the waitress. She actually sat down with me and my friends and held a convo. Flirted with us and all that. Awesome experience

My boyfriend and I were getting on the turnpike and We needed food, so I said hey lets go to the tilted kilt.(Im a secure, trusting girlfriend). If you are not, don’t bring your guy here. Their skirts do occasionally lift up or things of the sort when they pick stuff up(they are real waitresses) . It’s like Hooters, but a little classier. Thank god they weren’t wearing tube socks. These waitresses(like their counterparts) go for the girl next door thing. They sit in the booth with you or at your table, very casual. I dont really like this whole sitting down with you thing at a restaurant. But hey, maybe men do and frankly, I’m not the tilted kilts demographic, men are. The draft list was extensive, a big plus for me. I would have tried one if I wasn’t already wasted by the time we got here. So we just ordered wings and fries. They have some late night happy hour thing. So we got fries for $ 2 and an order of wings, full priced at $ 10.50 for 8 pieces. The wings were good, we got that sweet and spicy sauce, but we could have used more, especially for that price. The fries were in a 16oz glass with a liner so not very much. The happy hour menu was just lacking, like who wants meatloaf sliders at 11pm?
