Stopped by today to introduce some friends to some amazing ice cream. Espresso, Pistachio and Earl Grey. All great, Earl Grey especially interesting. Followed up with an Egg Cream(had to wash it down didn’t I?) The seltzer makes the egg cream. Good stuff here. I would have included the pictures but the ice cream was gone by the time I thought of it.

Decided to try again. Weird vibe inside. Awkwardly quite. There needs to be some sort of background music or something. Without it, the experience feels more like a funeral than a good time. The ice cream is very good — you can tell it’s made with higher quality ingredients but the vibe also has to be right. Please consider improving that aspect!

We went there a while ago, super disappointed. The scoop of ice cream was smaller than a teaspoon but we paid for a large at a high price around 5.00 a piece for a sample size portion. The girl who served it had multiple physical challenges so kudos for them hiring her but maybe not the best match of her skills as she could not physically do the job of scooping ice cream. It was not worth the $ 25.00 for less than one scoop of ice cream between the 5 ice cream orders.

Great quality ice cream & chocolates. Quaint place with wonderful staff, perfect for gifts and satisfying the need for sugar

Outstanding! This is not a place to get some frozen ice cream like substance, it’s the real thing. Get some, you deserve it.

As a Long Islander, when my friend told me about an amazing relatively new ice cream place that opened up in Kingston, I was excited by skeptical. Well, I am no longer a skeptic. Just Good Eats Soda Fountain is a small little ice cream and chocolate shop located on a parking lot in Kingston along a big road. It is easy to miss if you don’t look carefully. The ice creams and sorbets at this wonderful shop are beyond delicious. They are all homemade and you can actually taste all the natural ingredients that the flavors are made of. No chemicals or corn syrup in this establishment, something that is very hard to find these days. Another thing I loved is that the owners let you sample everything, and allow it happily. My friend and I must have sampled 10 different ice creams and sorbets before making our final purchases. The female owner was there and she was extremely kind and gracious and even offered us a complimentary homemade soda on the house(we chose chocolate — yum)!!! Everyone, please visit this great and delicious establishment and you’ll see for yourselves what the hype is all about!
