Love it. Great service, consistent food and always a great time. I love taco and tequila Tuesday’s, wing Wednesday or just stopping in on the weekend. Definitely suggest to go.
Also they do a great job during work events I have hosted.

Food is delicious! Always a consistent and good experience. The calamari is tender and the margaritas are perfect.

Best tacos in town! Taco Tuesday and 5 $ margaritas are my favorite. Service can be a little slow when busy but defiantly worth the wait!

Really good. Scallop tacos were delicious. Pulled pork tacos equally good. Very good guacamole. We’d go back!

One of my top restaurant choices in the Kingston area. Taco Tuesday’s are great with the delicious grilled shells (steak is my favorite)! Wing Wednesday’s are a part of our week every week! The sauces are amazing; spicy Mexican buffalo and honey chipotle are my favorites. The chips and salsa add on to the deliciousness and you cannot stop eating them. The service is fantastic, every employee is very attentive and friendly, along with quick service. I feel very welcome and like I’m at home. I love this place and I highly recommend it to everyone! I wish giving more than 5 stars was acceptable.

While I love the atmosphere and drinks, the food is fair at best. I have always found the tacos odd, a bit cold and greasy – and I usually love greasy! But it’s a nice place to sit at the bar or a table with friends and enjoy their company.

This is the first review I’ve ever done on Unilocal.I was very impressed with the food, atmosphere and service. Great tequila selection and nice sized meal portions. Jason was very courteous host and the wait staff were friendly and helpful. I will certainly go again next time I am in town!

I had been a little hesitant to try Santa Fe Uptown, since my last visit to the one in Tivoli had been disappointing. All is forgiven here. Whatever they’re doing differently, they’re doing right and doing it well. That would include the evening specials and those pitchers of margaritas. We came here on a Wednesday, so the special was 50 cent wings 6 or 7 different sauces from which to choose. The bourbon sauce was a good mix of spicy and smoky and sweet. The homemade salsa was difficult for me to stop dipping into with the chips, with its strong cilantro and lime presence.
My steak burrito came with rice covered with black beans and a side of mesclun salad. The beef was charred nicely but was slightly fatty. the shrimp burrito came with the same sides, was equally good, but I felt the shrimp could have even been a little spicier. Now the price — roughly $ 18 for each of these — it feels a little above average compared to getting similar dishes elsewhere. But when you take the rest of the meal into consideration, the cost for the entire food and drink experience was very reasonable. A fun waiter made it even more enjoyable and worth many return trips.

This is a wonderful place to visit for gourmet tacos (if there is such a thing). Tuesday is Taco Tuesday, with a selection of $ 5.00 tacos. The Oaxacan is my favorite. They also have a full menu of classic Mexican street food. Check it out. There is a new location in Woodstock at the Dylan Hotel.

I have no clue what they do here to their food, buts its nothing shy of FANTASTIC! Had lunch today with my friends… had the grilled shrimp skewer salad. holy mother of God. like its just shrimp with greens right? No, my peeps, its multi flavor heaven with this mango chipotle dressing thats out of this world… THE BEST. Not my first time& it wont be my last

Just based off the sauces alone Santa Fe is worth 5 stars and then some.
But virtually everything on the menu is just fresh and ridiculously tasty. My favorite still has to be shrimp tacos, which served on a properly grilled shell with an abundance of guacamole, is to me perfection especially when paired with their habanero sauce.
Clearly this is the best place in Kingston for your Mexican fix. Period.

Excellent food & service! Drinks are strong and food is exceptional. Our waitress was very attentive. Will definitely come back when in the area.

Their taco Tuesday is the best, excellent margaritas (get a pitcher) and solid large portion plates

Dinned here for a couples night with some friends this past summer. My overall experience was ehh :/​the outdoor seating was nice and drinks were good however the food was just so-​so. My husband and I ordered the pulled pork tacos that everyone said was a «must have» but I wasn’t THAT crazy about them. My friends ordered fish tacos which smelled and looked really tasty but according to them were a bit bland. It did the job but, I much prefer Mexican from other restaurants in the area. Sorry, not sorry!

Well I went back to Santa Fe tonight. Our second time was a success. We were seated promptly. We got complimentary chips and salsa almost immediately. Our drink orders were taken and fulfilled within five minutes. And our tacos for «taco Tuesday» were ordered and at our table in a few minutes. No rush. Friendly servers. And above all, the tacos were tasty.
I remember not having the fastest or tastiest experience once before. But tonight changed my mind.
I will be back many times over.

Solid mexican food, great atmosphere, and good service all combine to make a great mexican food experience. Apps we had were fried plantains, really delicious, guacamole, fresh and very tasty, guacamole comes nicely presented with cucumbers and jalapeños,. The last appetizer we had was a delicious black bean soup. Entrees were pulled pork tacos and sliced steak burrito. Both were properly cooked and seasoned. Portions were large enough for big eaters. Finished up with coffee and the flan, a great finish to a great meal.

We have eaten at the Kingston Santa Fe probably a dozen times. We love the food and the service from the chips and Salsa that is placed on your table as you are seated to the delectable main courses and finally the excellent coffee and desserts. There are many Gluten Free offerings, clearly marked for those of us who must eat that way. 5 stars to a fine establishment that works hard to deserve that rating!

How much do I love this place? Words don’t do it justice. No heavy, sloppy sauce Mexican here — at least not that I’ve ever had. Fresh, light and the guacamole is killer.
Reservations strongly recommended.
