My girlfriend and I come here pretty often because we live close to this restaurant. It’s definitely a great place to eat. Most things on the menu are at least decent in my opinion. Very hard to find something that actually tastes bad. Sushi is probably some of the best you’ll find in the area. Service is great because they very rarely make errors and your order usually comes out fairly quick. I highly recommend you eat here if you’re in the area craving some good Asian food.

Sadly, I won’t be going back as the quality has declined immensely. I’ve been eating here about once every few months since they opened, and I have noticed each time that the service and food have dwindled to unimpressive levels, especially given the price. Last night was the last straw. It took 10 minutes to get two waters delivered. At one point someone came back and confirmed our drink order, then disappeared again for a while. It took a long time as well to put in a food order because waitstaff(often not the same person) would place an item on the table and dash off before you could say anything. The quality of the food(had Chinese and Japanese fare) was nothing special; I didn’t even package up my leftovers(no leftovers from an Asian restaurant??? Never been that way in my life!). The Chinese dishes were overly salty, drowning in sauce, and the vegetables were limp/not fresh-looking. The salmon in the sushi had odd red spots on it. The worst? Getting a bill for two people that was $ 38…no alcohol even. I won’t be back. I’ll just order sushi from Akashi instead.

This was the worst, I repeating, THEWORST excuse for an ‘Asian’ restaurant! I threw up so hard after leaving this God for Saken filthy, nasty establishment. I should’ve walked out after noticing all the torn seat cushions and dirty floor. This place should shit down by the health department. All the food was either old, or just plainly spoiled! I have never vomited so much in my life! I’d recommend buying sushi at the local gas station, or dead animals on the side of the road!!!

I love coming here, very good date night restaurant or a family dinner. It’s usually pretty quiet and intimate. Sometimes on the weekends… Read Moreonrd

Better than your typical Chinese restaurant! Great lunch specials. Soup, salad, and egg roll come with the meal. Very decent portions for the price. The sushi was great and they have lunch special sushi too. Our server Kimi was very helpful and friendly. A nice atmosphere to dine in too.

Slow service, they don’t know what pot stickers are and if you order tempura expect to get onions rings you’d find at a hamburger joint. The food is cooked in heavy oil that unfortunately stays on the food and ruins the flavor.

The wait staff was great. But the food was so-so. The soup was meh and the egg rolls were the worst I ever had. But the pad thai was actually really good.

Not sure if this resturant is suppose to be Hunan style. What ever style of food was questionable! Being from Hawaii and frequent travel to different Chinese cities around the world I think JJ’s food is a home grown concept. We got Orange Chicken that were huge chunks of chicken(I think) cooked in a brown sauce with a hint of orange. Also got garlic pork… it was to be spicy no spice just a lot of green and red pepper. Even the fortune cookies sucked! The white rice was the highlight… SAD!!! Almost forgot, the egg lo’s were terrible too. I will say the staff seemed very nice!!!

One of my favorite restaurants. I am a regular customer here. Great sushi. I personally love the Exciting roll. Love the lo mein and fried rice too. There is a tall male server who is better at communicating than most Asian restaurant servers are. Although as you can expect most of the servers aren’t anything special. I love the crab lover and cheese puff appetizers. Although the crab lover is pricey. They play a mixture of popular American music and Japanese music. I’ve even heard a theme song from Naruto in there once. They do carry out and delivery I think. They recently upgraded from tiny sweet skim milk drinks to fortune cookies as a free treat after your meal.

Ordered delivery this evening. Total = $ 84.00. Placed the order online at 630 pm and did not receive food until a few min after 8 pm. Everything was cold and the sushi rolls were messy(like they tipped over on the drive) and room tempature. Not only that, there was more cream cheese in the rolls than anything. Room temp cream cheese is a nightmare in my mouth.

The good — really good pad thai and decent sushi menu. I always try to get the house special pad Thai that has beef, chicken and seafood but have had shrimp pad Thai as well. The fried shrimp is really good and different — they serve it with a buttery honey sauce. The bad — went at 7 and it was not a full house by any means. We were seated somewhat promptly but then forgotten for 30 minutes until I tracked down someone to take our drink orders. They brought them out in styrofoam cups because they had no clean glasses. The wait and lack of attention was really the bad part though. I will go back but I hope that was just a one time off night.

Review of Chinese dishes only. Great lunch specials served in a bento box. Prices, quantity, and quality good for what you get. Recommended. 4 stars. Outside of that, prices are high, but potions are big. Quality seems to go down too. I can’t recommend them beyond their lunch specials because there are better Asian choices in the area. 2 stars. It’s a great modern space so you don’t feel like you’re in a strip mall, which is nice. Attentive service and full bar is a plus but doesn’t make up for the average quality of their dinner offerings.

This place is consistently good. Staff is attentive, sushi is great, beer is cold. I have been here at least a dozen times and ordered in at least as many and no complaints.

This place was pretty legit. The music was great the ambiance was nice and quiet. It was pretty dead tonight but it is Wednesday. We had the cream puffs. Really liked those and we shared the crunch roll, shaggy dog, and jalapeño roll. They were scrumptious. And the drinks are very strong. Our server was attentive and sweet.

Well, it’s OK. Just that. Their sushi is better than their Chinese food, IMHO. In general, the Chinese dishes just don’t have much flavor. They’re meat in some color sauce with various veg, depending on which dish you ordered. Service here is good. I think the wait staff do a very decent job. Prices are OK, running to a little high on the Chinese dishes. Overall, you could run by if you need to grab grub in the area while on the run. If you have more time, there are much better Chinese and Chinese/Japanese joints in the area.

When first entering JoJo’s Asian Bistro, we were promptly and warmly greeted by the hostess. She sat us at a booth and informed us that our waitress would be with us shortly. The waitress was soft-spoken, but very nice and attentive. We ordered raspberry tea(of which I’m a huge fan). When it arrived, though, we found it very bitter. Being just too tart for even four packages of sugar to sweeten, we asked the waitress if we could get soda instead. She let us know that they would have to charge us for the tea, but the soda would not be on our bill. That was an acceptable solution for us. We ordered the eggroll appetizer as well as the cheese puffs. While the eggroll was pretty standard, the cheese puffs were exceptional. The dough was cooked perfectly crisp without any clumpy, doughy build-ups that often comes from crimping the edges too tightly. The center was soft, rich, and very flavorful. Very good! As for the main courses… We ordered the orange chicken without the spice, the vegetable lo mein noodles, and the honey crispy shrimp. The orange chicken was very tender yet crispy. However, the sauce was very stout(especially since the sauce was pooled on the bottom of the plate). It probably would have been better if the chicken were tossed with the orange sauce and then transferred to the serving plate(leaving most of the sauce off of the plate). And, the fried rice that we got with it was just plain, flavored rice. No onion, egg, or even carrot to help season it… A bit of a disappointment… The vegetable lo mein noodles were very nicely done. The vegetables were tender crisp, and not mushy. The noodles were lightly coated but not oily. And the ratio of veggies to noodles was ideal. The honey crispy shrimp was the piece de resistance. Tender, succulent shrimp cooked with a crispy batter… Bathed in an rich, creamy, ever so slightly sweet sauce… Lovely. And, the bed of crispy fried noodles went very nicely with it. Overall, this restaurant has a very wide variety of foods to choose from. The food was good, but with a few minor flaws. Based on this experience, I would come again.
