Service was good although it was busy. Got home with my order, two bacon cheeseburgers. The meat was burnt on one side and not cooked on the other side(maybe to compensate). Disappointed.

I love this place! The food is excellent. The only problem is that they have put pressed bacon onto the veggie burgers. That’s not very nice. It has happened twice at this location. When I spoke to the manager she did give me coupons. Also they gave me a to go cup instead of the lovely glass and metal container, then didn’t fix it. We were sitting down and eating. It might seem trivial but it was a 5.00 milkshake. That’s more money than I like to spend for a shake in a paper cup as I sit in the restaurant.

Sign on the doors says«Open 10am-10pm everyday». I got there at 10:15 am and the door was locked. Tried calling the business no answer. Knocked on the door repeatedly. Finally a Hispanic man came out, but not to open the door… to refill his drink and wave and say something I couldn’t make out. I don’t think I’ll be buying lunch for the entire office here in the future.

It was my first time and I actually didn’t feel like eating greasy food tonight so I picked the avocado club grilled chicken sandwich and it was the best ever! I didn’t think I was hungry but man I ate the entire thing! I also ordered a butterfinger shake and that too was delicious! Went late at night so my food got to me very fast. The place was clean, staff was nice. They just needed to bring out fresh lemons for my tea and I wished the fries were a tad thicker and longer since I did spend almost $ 60 for 3 people.

Went twice. Once with a friend and once with family. I think five guys and Whataburger are much better. The burgers are pricey. But you get a beef or chicken choice. They taste fine. And you may select from the menu or build your own.

I have to admit, I shouldn’t be proud of it, but none the less, I do like smashburgers. Is it the crispy edges? The egg roll bun? I don’t know for sure, but I do like them. The other interesting thing, I like the regular burger more so than then larger one. I think it had a better meat to bun ratio. Then on top of that, there is the smashfries. Rosemary, olive oil, pretty good. I would prefer if they were just a hair thicker. But taste wise, still a nice change from«the norm». The Kingwood store is clean, parking can be difficult at times, but it is in a large shopping area. Easy access from the highway, but rush hour traffic can make things difficult. It is a smashburger store, and pretty much looks like the any of the other ones. Service had been good every time I have been to this location. The staff seems friendly for the most part. Once I had an order taker that seemed mostly disinterested, but that was just one time. Order delivery time is not too bad during busy times, and down right fast when it isn’t crowded. Not a McD’s fast, but pretty fast for a made to order burger. No WiFi, and for some reason, Verizon service back inside is only spotty at best. Better out by the front. Once outside, it is back to normal 4G service. So the building had some affect on things. I would recommend this smashburger, overall, pretty good.

1. Their burgers are the messy kind of good, so juicy and hot! I shall call this a hot mess. 2. The fries are to die for. Thin, crispy, hot and always fresh. With a basil oil toppingbthem. Definitely one of my favorites. 3. Now let’s talk milkshake! It’s a piece of heaven all wrapped up in a cup! So, so, SOYUMMY! 4. I gave this place 4 stars ONLY bc they don’t have a drive thur. I have small boys, mom’s with boys knows that I need to say no more :) A bucket list place for sure. :)

FOUNDHAIRINSIDEMYBAJABURGER. This Smash Burger location is awful. We got two burgers, fried pickles, and smash fries. ALL were covered in grease, after we got really sick. Very gross won’t be returning EVER!

The burger was deliciously messy and the sweet potato fries were awesome. The price is a bit high and the gluten free bun is horrible. The Parmesan fries super yummy, but a tad greasy. Loved the chicken tenders. Will likely return when another messy burger craving hits.

I was looking for a good burger and of course was reminded of this place. The burgers are always amazing, they have Saint Arnold’s beer, and their milk shakes bring the boys to the yard for sure! haven’t tried them yet? What are you waiting on?

I love that they offer free kids meals on Tuesdays! The original burger is the best entrée I’ve tried on the menu. The avocado chicken sandwich is my second choice. Skip the frites and try the veggie frites! Best thing on the entire menu!

First visit to our newly opened neighborhood Smashburger, have to say the ambiance was pleasant & modern. However, when we got our burgers they were both way over salted! Hours later both my Wife & I had headaches & «salt mouth» from our salty dining experience. One last thing, the fries were swimming in herbed oil! The fries would have perhaps been ok if they didn’t drench the nice looking shoestrings in so much oil!

We went here for smash burger which is talk of town these days! We ordered Jalapeño Baja burger and Avacado cucumber bean burger along with sweet potato and smash fries! Burger tasted good and we enjoyed a lot. What we really liked was Smash fries cooked in Olive oil and seasoned with rosemary. Must try…

I always go to smashburger; they have great burgers; you definitely get what you pay for! With that being said, you should expect their prices to be a tad higher than most places. I had a bite of their truffle and Swiss burger, which my husband ordered, and it was awesome. I had their chicken avocado club, and it was good but I wish their chicken patty was a bit bigger. Their smash fries are always great to me, and their veggie frites were pretty good. This place, however, isn’t all that welcoming. The service seems like they are not happy to be here, and it just takes away from the nice experience of eating their good burgers. Perhaps if they better their service and environment then more people would give this place five stars!

I’m very happy that they decided to put a Smashburger up at the front of Kingwood. The Northpark exit really has some nice places to eat now and Smashburger classed up the burger joints already there. I recently had the spinach and feta salad with grilled chicken added. Not a bargain lunch at over $ 10 with a soda but, it was enough for 2 meals making it a deal IF you can manage to bring the other half home. I ate it all so $ 10 lunch for me. I’ve had burgers and chicken sandwhiches at Smashburger before and all are excellent. In fact, I had their hot dog once and I have never been disappointed. It was very busy when I went in for lunch but the service was quick and the wait was not long at all. Very happy with it.

I love the burgers here and their chicken club sandwich. It’s so fresh and juicy and seasoned well. Also their sweet potato fries are delicious, sweet and crisp. Ever since I tried this place for the first time, I was so impressed by how good the food was and since than, I’ve been coming back. I would give this place a 5 star but the service at this location is not so great. The employees taking your order have no personality and don’t seem happy to be there. It just turns me off when your happy to eat their and hungry and no one is nice. I’ve been here a couple of times and every time it’s the same rudeness. I guess you can’t expect much from a fast good place and teenagers running the place. Other than that, the food is too good not to come back.

so this wasn’t my first smashburger experience but it was at this new location… things I loved. –Everyone was nice! from the girl who took our order, to the guy who brought me a knife and the girl who brought our food. — the avocado chicken club. yummm…I always get that — the two bites of the bbq cheddar burger my hubby had — tables were quickly bussed –no one had that«we just opened and I have no idea what I’m doing» attitude I’m a huge fan of this location and with all the other places in the area to grab a burger this place wins hands down

As a vegetarian, at first, I was skeptical when I heard Smashburger was moving into Kingwood. The community was cheering, and I was going to pass it up, thinking they’d never have anything for me. I was wrong. Really, really wrong. I learned that everything on the menu can be made vegetarian by leaving out the bacon, and swapping the beef for the black bean patty. I’ve had my fair share of black bean burgers, and I was still nervous, but when I tried it, the flavor was bold, and unique, and the texture was perfect. Protein-packed and filling, this is a very good, low calorie, low cholesterol option for not only veggies, but for those looking for healthier options. Every burger can be made with beef, chicken, or black bean. Like the idea of the chicken burger, but want beef? No problem! Like the sound of the black bean burger, but can’t give up your beef? No problem! Don’t eat meat and don’t want to be left out? No problem! I had the opportunity to sample the entire menu at a Unilocal!event at this location, and here are some of my favorite highlights: The Smash fries with the rosemary-garlic salt — Favorite appetizer. I like that these come with regular salt, or this rosemary-garlic option. Same goes for the sweet potato fries, you can have them either way. The flash fried green beans and carrots deserve an honorable mention. They also have fried pickles, and fried jalapeño peppers. They have a variety of unique dipping sauces, too, which I thought was a better option than ketchup. The Regional(Texas) Burger(with black bean patty instead of beef,) and the Avocado Ranch Black Bean Burger were tied for my favorite burger. They have 3 sizes for their burgers, which I thought was nice, because sometimes you aren’t that hungry, or you are starving, or if you have a child, there are options for everyone, and every budget. A close 2nd place went to the Spinach, Cucumber & Goat Cheese burger with a black beann patty. I liked how the cheese melted into the patty, and that was a rich combo, full of flavor. I am obsessed with the egg buns. Some of the burgers come with a wheat bun, and I was reluctant to give up the egg bun(I am sure they can swap out wheat for egg, and egg for wheat…) but at the end of the day, I felt each bun choice complimented the burger it was originally designed to go with. Another honorable mention: I like that they put the BBQ sauce under the patty or cheese, so it doesn’t ooze all over the place. The avocado was a little messy to eat because it is topped with slices of avocado, not guacamole or a purée/sauce, but so what? Finger-licking-awesome! I tried to like the Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger. I’m sure it’s fantastic. It did have a nice blend of mild and delicate flavors, but I am allergic to mushrooms, and I can’t stand swiss cheese, but if you’re a fan of those, then this is the burger for you. The black bean patties have cumin, garlic, onions, and blue corn tortilla strips mixed in. Seriously, even if you are a hard core beef lover, you have got to give this a try at some point. They are moist, and smashed just like their beef patties. Salads. They are huge. They have them. With or without chicken(+$ 2 w/chicken.) Lastly on food, milkshakes. They have several flavors. The best part about them is they are made with Haagen-Daz ice cream!!! They aren’t too sweet, which is a plus. The décor was modern, and I loved the red, steel, and wood design. The owners explained that this was a new design plan, and I think it is just what the Kingwood area deserves. Some of the waitstaff seemed a little overwhelmed and unknowledgeable, but others were on top of their game. I think with some training and some time/experience, some of the kinks will be ironed out. We did attend this event prior to this location opening, but I am confident improvements will be made, and I have a new respect for this restaurant.
