I had a rough morning. My dental floss got stuck between several of my teeth and wouldn’t come out. It hurt. I did my best to remove it, even using tweezers. Didn’t work. Frustrated, bleeding and uncomfortable — and on the verge of tears — I then asked my beloved to find the floss and play dentist with those same tweezers. That didn’t work either. I ended up cutting up my gums, gave up and headed to Kirkland from Queen Anne for appointments I had scheduled. While there to take neighborhood photos for a new listing we’re bringing on in Totem Lake, I found myself parked in front of Totem Lake Dental — a sign! I sheepishly walked in and asked if they could help me. Dr. Cho came out and was more than happy to take care of me. His staff treated me like royalty — they couldn’t have been more gracious. Dr. Cho expertly threaded my gums then popped out the jammed floss between three of my teeth. He refused to take payment and even sent me home with floss threaders and a new container of floss. If I lived in Kirkland, Tom Cho, DDS would be my dentist. He was gentle, kind and assured me that this kind of thing happens all the time — including just recently to him. That made me feel better because the whole floss-stuck-in-my-teeth made me feel like an idiot. If you’re looking for a gentle, compassionate dentist and a warm, welcoming and professional staff, consider Totem Lake Dental. What a great experience.
