I recently moved to Kirksville, and I absolutely love this place. I go there at least once a week. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and decorated very nice. All of the staff was extremely friendly, and the food was delicious. They have a great variety of sandwiches, entrees, and dinner specials to choose from. The bar is also decorated nice, and they have a lot of drinks to choose from. I came back on a Thursday, and they even had $ 0.99 margaritas that day. They have a fantastic salad bar and cozy fireplaces to sit next to. We had a private party in their conference room that went extremely well. They have a great happy hour, and I have seen flyers for trivia on Tuesday nights, but I have not yet gone, but I will. I also have not yet been to the Sunday buffet, but I have heard that it is fantastic. This is the kind of place Kirksville needs. I highly recommend to anyone.

Extremely limited menu and low quality food. Pass on this place as there are several much better options in Kirksville.

Went here with my family one weekend and it’s definitely one of the better restaurants in Kirksville. They even have a trained chef who has some signature dishes on the menu, one of which is the lobster mac and cheese. I decided to get this meal along with a salad bar, and the mac and cheese was creamy with perfectly cooked pasta spirals and generous chunks of real lobster meat. It came out in a small bowl but was surprisingly filing. The salad bar was standard and you are only allowed one trip. My family also ordered appetizers, which were half price at the time during Happy Hour, and their homemade chips with the drunken dip were delicious — very fresh tasting, seasoned correctly, and large. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

3⁄5 is probably generous. New place to me. The good: plenty of room even on a Friday evening. Decent bar But there were some other issues: The waitress couldn’t tell me what their signature meal is(it happens to be broasted chicken). The waitress didn’t offer a second drink till I was about finished eating. Broasted chicken, in my experience, takes 20 minutes to make. Mine was out in 10. That makes me think it was pre-prepared and kept hot. That being said, it was good. Very juicy. But I get the impression the chicken is not«coated» on site. The coating made me think of a TV dinner. Not real crisp. Can’t get a side salad. They only have a full salad bar that costs $ 3 extra. I would prefer some vegetables with my meal, not all starches. Veggies are an up sale. I like a good dinner roll. These are like I get at Walmart, frozen and re-heated. Will I come back? Yes. I want to try the lobster Mac n cheese. You won’t be wowed, but it’s a decent meal.
