We have been faithful customers since we moved back 4 years ago. However, the last few times we have noticed that they have been using a different crust. It is not as good as it used to be. We are going to start looking for different pizza places.

I orders a pepperoni calzone after a few minutes I got my calzone. It looked great just a little strange it was not puffy like a clazone should be. Seems like who ever made it forgot to put ricotta cheese in it…

In Kittery — hands down best pizza! Friendly staff as well — highly recommend. Also recommend their calzones! Good size, plenty to share! Thinner crust style pizza, good sauce

Best pizza in the Kittery — Portsmouth area. Love their cheesy, greasy pizza. Classic independent pizza joint pizza. Calzones are huge! Never had issues with orders.

Small location close to the memorial bridge and downtown Portsmouth. Staff was managing a large amount of to-go’s when I arrived but greeted me quickly and took my order. Although it took some time to get my food out the staff was appologetic and made me feel welcome. If youre there at the right time there may even be some free samples to be had! Parking is limited but walk from down town and see the river front!

Its ok your typical house of pizza, they were doing breakfast not sure if they still are, parking can be tough, I like the sandwiches a little better than the pizza but both are right on for the venue. They sell pizza by the slice which is convenient.

Stop in for the excellent bargain ‘lobsta’ roll. Return for the pizza. These guys are a bit strange but GOOD.

Best pizza within 50 miles of the Maine/New Hampshire border. Bonus is they serve beer/wine and have lobster rolls!

Working nearby, we sometimes come here for lunch. The food is good, made fresh, and is fast. It’s a little pricier than some other places you will find nearby, but the portions are substantial. Warning: the large calzone can feed 3 – 4 people! Very friendly staff, and the regulars are entertaining!

If you live in Portsmouth or Kittery you have to try Badger’s Island Pizza. We ordered delivery from BIP at least every other Saturday this past winter and they delivered to our home in Portsmouth with no complaints. The plain cheese pizza and the homemade salads and Italian dressing is my favorite.

Badger’s Island Pizzeria makes decent pizza and it’s a cute little place. The slices seemed a little small but the fact that you can order pizza by the slice is a big plus. Toppings are fresh & my guess is that all slices start off as cheese pizza and are then made to order with whatever topping you want. My wife thought they skimped on the sauce but I didn’t notice. One of the cool things about this pizzeria is the location. They’re across the street from Hebert Brothers, which is one of the best local spots to pick up some seafood. Although I wasn’t blown away by the pizza, it’s hard to seriously judge the place based on a couple of reheated slices so I’ll be back. Maybe next time I’ll go for a chicken parm sub or some linguini with meatballs. And they’re open for breakfast. Until 11AM, you can get the usual omelets, pancakes, french toast, etc. If you’re hungry while traveling between Portsmouth and the Kittery outlet malls, you’ll probably get the best deal at Badger’s Island Pizza.
