Got my FREE birthday drink on the way back from the WRIGHTBROTHERSMUSEUM so it was easy in and easy out…

A very nice we’ll run place. The only issue, they could not handle super busy labor weekend am crowd. Need two espresso machines and two baristas. 20 people in line on Saturday am, 11 minutes for drinks. Employees very nice, all working hard and well organized. All good though. People on vacation.

This is my Starbucks when on vacation in the OBX and they rarely let me down. Bonus a Rita’s ice right beside it that is open year around. When pulling up on a Sunday I almost turned around after viewing no parking and looking at the line through the door. However, something told me to trust that they could get me in and out and to church in time and I was correct. The line moved flawlessly and I was out within 10 minutes which I considered a win! My cup of coffee and chocolate croissant was delicious too! One draw back that many Starbucks customers may have is them lack of a drive thru. There was no way to pull it off with an area to the side being right of way. I also noticed that the cool give seat I dubbed the«love seat» has been removed after a small interior remodel. A solid Starbucks with friendly staff, what more could you ask for.

I liked the Barista here. I didn’t see her name tag, but she was so friendly and talkative! She greeted every customer with a genuine smile and tried to engage them in conversation. She really made my day a little brighter despite the rain and storms keeping me stuck indoors!

Clean, small Starbucks. Convenient location just over the Wright bridge on your way into OBX.

Updated: I had originally given this Starbucks a two star review due to inconstancies, however, over the past months, my experience has been increasingly better. All the brewers are very friendly and seem to take pride in their work. I was actually pretty surprised that a few began to even remember my name, considering I only come here about once every few weeks. Anyways, this Kitty Hawk Starbucks has definitely begun to live up to the Starbucks reputation.

rating starbucks feels very sob like in that in order for me to give Starbucks 5 stars you better have the most amazingly efficient staff during a huge rush. This place eh… it held up in that it is one of the few Starbucks for miles in the area. I do think it was smart that they have an assembly line when it comes to pastry orders. however it does lack efficiency in that the pastry isn’t handed to you with your coffee like Starbucks usually does they kinda of just shout out your pastry. But if your not listening you may not remember your pastry. The coffee wasn’t efficient either they take time to ask your name but obviously traditional Starbucks fashion your name is written wrong and your listening for the name you gave them and not who was written. Either or my experience at this starbucks was interesting…

This was the ONLY Starbucks on our route home and we desperately needed coffee badly. The line was OUTTHEDOOR. I must have waited a total of 30 minutes to order and pick up my two drinks. The service was great. The drinks were on point but man, this place was jam packed. I hope the locals don’t have to go through this all the time with all the tourists hogging up the place!

Ordered food and drinks from them yesterday. One was incorrectly made, staff was nice as could be about getting it redone with polite apologies and a coupon for a free drink. Staff was lovely and helpful.

The only Starbucks on the OBX and honestly one of the best I’ve been to with respect to service and quality. Everyone seems to know my name, Cheers, probably cause I’m in here for coffee at least x2 a week. Clean, free WiFi, not a large SBUX, but what they lack in size, they make up for in customer service.

It’s a resort area they don’t count on repeat business but handle the rush well. Weird layout makes wait awkward for those who order the foo foo drinks.

The staff in this starbucks were great. Very patient and efficient. I will say the location is difficult to get out of and difficult to see, but otherwise a Starbucks on the plus side.

I never understand how S-Bucks chooses some of thier locations. This one really missed the mark unless they have plans for another store on the Beach. It’s right after you come off the bridge from the mainland and hard to make a left if you’re not really paying attention. It’s so far removed from all the other beach activity. Maybe they were afraid they would be too busy on the beach bypass road. Property is expensive down here, that could be a clue. Anyway, the drinks and service are about what I expect at any other S-Bucks. You better know where you’re going if you want to find this one.

My husband and I went to get our Frappuccino fix for the week. Our order is always 2 caramel frapps, one with whip and one without. The Starbucks at home(and everywhere else we have been) typically comes with whip. When we got our drinks, neither had whip so my husband asked the woman for whip on one. You would have thought we had committed murder. I was so embarrassed and just wanted to sink into the floor and disappear. I have never heard someone make that big a deal out of whipped cream. She went on and on about how they don’t come with whip and wanted to know if we special ordered whip and she would not let it go. I told her I ordered one with whip and they do usually come that way at all the other Starbucks we have been to. There were about 10 other people waiting for their drinks while she went on a tirade about friggin’ whipped cream! I don’t think I’ll be going back there.

I ordered a Green Tea Latte and forgot to mention I would like the Iced Version. They were very nice about fixing it and when I asked for whipped cream, even though they said it normally doesn’t come with it, they were more than happy to give me dollop on the house.

Stopped by for my Starbucks mug. It’s the thing I collect while I travel. Ok size Starbucks with friendly staff. You can almost miss it if your not paying attention.

This is a small Starbucks, but the coffee is the same as all the other ones. The people are friendly and have a smile on there face. Yes a shot of expresso does it all the time !

Typical Starbucks… but watch out for the summer crowd! It’s always packed during the summer season.

I’ve been twice(yes I have a problem) so far on my vacation, and the second visit was much better than the first. I ordered my usual and when my drink seemed to be missing about an inch of liquid(not even foam to hide the absence of a good portion of my drink) I asked for it to be fixed. The woman seemed very put out, but filled it(with cold, not steamed milk). Since it’s the only game in town from a Bux perspective I went back again, and the girl not only remembered my drink order but was super nice. There was a girl who was just not on her game making drinks(she kept getting reprimanded by just about every other staffer in there) but she did make a good drink! The service was much better the second time. And they’re new I believe, so I cut them some slack.
