Checked out this place on a weekend trip to Kokomo. First of all the atmosphere and look is reminiscent of a Bourbon Street NOLA restaurant/bar. Very nicely decorated inside. It was late lunch on a Saturday, and we learned the place has been open for a little over a month, so there was hardly any patrons. We chose to be seated in the bar, our server was Brooke. Highly recommend her, she was friendly, attentive, and talkative! We enjoyed her service. They had a fairly simple menu for lunch, with three different specials and a quiche special as well. Several Cajun selections. Brooke was helpful with sharing some of her favorites. The back side of the menu had the dinner selections again with several Cajun choices. My wife opted for the Hot Ham and Cheese sandwich special with a side fruit cup. It was prepared perfectly toasted, nicely melted cheese. She was very pleased with it. The fruit was fresh and sweet as it should be. I ordered the Muffaletta sandwich with house made chips. It arrived sliced in fifths with a nice selection of cured meats and cheese. It was also topped with a chopped olive and hot giardiniera combination. Very tasty but some may find it spicy. The bun was a little soggy from the oils that seeped out of this preparation, but I still enjoyed the flavors. The house made chips were very lightly salted and very crisp. There were only three beers on tap and the system was not functioning properly so we settled on an Indiana bottled brew. Their bottled selection was fairly large, including some Indianan brews, and they appeared to have a full bar. They also stock a few of the Abita Brewery selections for those fans of this Louisiana Brewery. They almost every evening, mainly Jazz we were told. The night we visited was to be a 4 piece jazz band. Looking forward to our next visit to Kokomo where we will go back for an evening live music session!

We went to the«soft opening» last night. The food menu was satisfactory with a selection of starters, burgers, pastas, broasted chicken & desserts. We ordered the banging shrimp(which was very good even though the breading seemed a little heavy) and the buffalo wings which were good. The drink menu had a large selection of wine & beer. We noticed that steaks on the menu were $ 34 which we could not imagine paying for. Our meals for 3 people came to $ 82.00. All of our food had very good flavor. Some of the food could have been hotter. We did wait a long time for our food but we kept in mind that this was the first night and they were busy. The guitar player was a welcome addition as we love live music. We will try this place again soon.
