She might be a good photographer; we wouldn’t know, since she didn’t bother to show up for our appointment. She seemed so nice and accommodating in our email conversations; our outdoor photo shoot was pushed back for several weeks because of the constant rain in the area, and she was great during that mess. So the weather finally clears up and we scheduled the shoot, and she emailed me that afternoon to confirm the appointment. At 3:30, two hours before the appointment, she said she would see me there and to text her when I got there; this was for a «four generations» photo shoot, so it was myself, my two daughters, my mother and my grandmother all meeting there together. I texted her when I arrived, then noticed that she had emailed me while I had been getting myself and my daughters ready (and not checking my email, because she had already confirmed). I had gotten a Groupon, and she had said it was fine to schedule the shoot to take place after the Groupon expired as long as I booked the shoot and redeemed the Groupon before it expired. No problem; I redeemed it in early April, two months before the shoot was finally scheduled and well before it expired. But at 4:10 Michelle emailed me saying she didn’t see any record of it being redeemed, and at 4:30 she emailed me saying I should call her to discuss it, but that if I hadn’t redeemed it I would need to just get a refund from Groupon. She didn’t show up to the appointment, she didn’t text me back, she didn’t answer or return the multiple calls I made from the site. We had all gotten dressed up and converged from all over town just for our photographer to completely bail and blow us off. I don’t know why she didn’t see the Groupon as being redeemed even though it was, but I especially don’t know why she didn’t bother to check on that earlier… like during the TWO MONTHS we had been planning this shoot. And I don’t know why she would tell me to call her and discuss it if she had no intention of answering or returning my calls. We were so disappointed and I am ASTOUNDED at how inconsiderate and unprofessional she was. When I got home I emailed her a screen shot of the page on Groupon’s website showing it as redeemed and the date; I never heard back from her. She didn’t so much as apologize! I did get a refund from Groupon, but unfortunately could only get credit to my account with them instead of a refund of actual money. This was supposed to have been a gift to my grandmother; thanks, Michelle, for completely ruining it!

My daughter bought a groupon for a session with this company. At 3:30 yesterday Michelle confirmed being able to make it to our 5:30 appt. At 4:20, she told us to get a refund from groupon. She would not answer my daughter’s calls or emails after this. We had 3 generations of women/​girls dressed up and heading to the venue before she decides she is not going to do it? Very unprofessional behavior. Would not recommend spending your money here.

Michelle has taken pictures of our little one twice and we cherish all the pics she took! She seriously used some magic on our newborn to get him to fall asleep when he was being fussy and took some great family photos at the next session. Easy to plan with her and her prices are great! So sad I don’t live in Austin anymore to continue using her!

Michelle is wonderful! We have used Michelle for engagement photos and photos of our children. She has a very good eye for the perfect shot. She has alot of patience which makes shooting children very easy.
