MOD Pizza

As a transplanted New Jersyan, ¾ Italian with an Irish last name. I feel I know pizza like Texans know BBQ. Had MOD last week in Lakeline for lunch, thought it was not bad. Just got a pie in Kyle, ordered pepperoni and onions, got home, it has mushrooms and olives. Crust soggy, pizza lukewarm. Pizza sucks, won’t be going back. Every other place that makes pizza in Kyle (not the chains), is better than this crap.

I’m going to give this a 5 star review because you just can’t go wrong here. You basically make your own pizza so if there’s any fault it’s in your ability to make an amazing pizza. Luckily they have some suggestions of popular pizzas on the wall for those out there with this problem. The price for a MOD pizza is 7.87 and it filled me up which is hard to do cause giiiiirrrrrrll I can eat a pizza. The staff that works here are also very helpful and extremely kind. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Needed a place to eat for dinner and wanted something different and remembered MOD PIZZA just opened so me and my wife tried it and it was amazing will be going there again!!!

Awesome, awesome, awesome pizza! I absolutely love the pizza and the employees are super friendly. The restaurant is nice and clean. They have a trash bin, recycling bin AND compost bin. It definitely has a younger vibe to it, which I love. This is definitely a pizza place I’ll be going to often.

Really good! I was actually surprised. Glad to have another option in Kyle and love the thin crust with toppings of your choice for no extra charge. We went with the Dillon James (margarita style) and the Maddy (cheese). Both were really good. Will absolutely be back and give some other flavors a try.

It’s the grand opening day of MOD Pizza today so we thought we’d check them out. My fiancé and I ordered our pizzas online. It was super easy and they have so many options! We ordered two individual pies. His had white sauce, mozzarella cheese, bacon, and ranch swirl on top. Get ready for mine, it’s unique: I ordered a pie with white sauce, mozzarella cheese, anchovies, ground beef, mild sausage, basil, mushrooms, red onion, tomato, and spinach. As you can probably tell, I wanted to try mine with just about a bit of everything. We also ordered the garlic strips. Our total only came out to $ 13.92! :)
When we went to pick up our order about 25 minutes later, the line inside to order literally wrapped all throughout the restaurant. We were so happy we ordered online because we went right up to the register and it was ready waiting for us. Even with how busy it was, the staff all seemed to be calm, cool, and collected with smiles. They seemed to have a system down pat for the long lines of orders streaming in. They seemed very organized and prepared. I also liked that the girl who brought out our pizzas asked us to take a look and make sure everything looked okay and nothing was left out by mistake.
When we got home we couldn’t wait to dig in! And we enjoyed all of it! So delicious. I like that the crust is thin so I don’t feel too guilty about eating it all :) The ingredients taste so fresh and flavorful. We’re so impressed especially with this being their first day open. We’ll be regulars for sure!
