So here I was in Kyle looking for lunch. I turned to Unilocal and found this place. It sounded very promising, as I like little dives. It turned out to be quite the dive. A dive straight off a cliff into eternal abyss. I went in and grabbed a table for two (I was alone) right up front across from the counter where all the action happens. I counted six staff members on duty and there were three tables with customers besides me. I sat and waited for someone to come by. After seven minutes I was still waiting on that someone. Then a couple walks in and grabs one of the four tops. Their big asses hadn’t been in their seats five seconds and one of the waitresses was serving them chips and salsa and asking for their drink orders. I was taken aback. [I know I couldn’t have been blending in with the table that I was sitting at. Surely when all the staff were standing no more than 8′ away from me and kept looking in my direction, they could see me. I ain’t no small thang]. That same waitress brings them their waters and takes their food order then hurry’s off back behind the counter and starts chatting with the other staff members. Some of them look my direction, but, just briefly. That’s when I stood up and gave them the silent «fuck you» stare. Three of them watched me as I walked away and no one even bothered to try and stop me. Guess they didn’t need my money or maybe it was because I wasn’t one of their regulars? Who knows. Fact is I don’t give a rats ass and I send them another «fuck you»! I’ve said «fuck you» twice in this review and it feels good. I’ll fucking say it again. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you.

Tried something new this time we ordered Dinner. I had the spinach enchiladas and loved it! My daughter LOVES catfish (I kid you not, she is 5 and loves seafood and steak… she will be an expensive date when she grows up lol but anyways) we ordered her the fried catfish meal. Came with two large pieces of fried catfish and french fries. SHE ATE IT ALL! This NEVER happens! We will defiantly be back for Dinner and Lunch \

Absolutely one of the best Mexican Restaurants in Kyle! Breakfast tacos are great and if you are a queso fan theirs is one of the best! Staff is extremely friendly and location is great for those of us that are in the Plum Creek area or in Hometown Kyle… if you have not tried this place out you are missing out!

Came here this morning. The place was busy with lots of to-​go orders waiting. Great sight on a Sunday. I ordered the migas plate. The food was tasty, but the service was lacking.
My waitress brought my food and then was never heard from again. I sat with an empty coffee cup for several minutes before I finally asked a waitress walking by for a refill. She seemed irritated that I had even asked.
The food was good, but not so good that it’s worth dealing with crappy service. There are plenty of other good Mexican breakfasts in the area. I don’t plan to be back.

Service horrible! Horrible! Food is decent. But due to their service I drive further for better food and better service. Never see manager on site to voice concerns to. I think this is main reason service is just bad.

Very good food for an even better price! Service is usually inconsistent, so that’s why I give 3 stars. Salsa is HOT and inconsistent in taste also, but my family enjoys it a lot. Tortillas are so yummy!

Best Mexican food I’ve had so far in Austin Area-​ish. Service is not the absolute best but food makes up for it.

It’s all about the tortilla.
I’ve been searching for decent breakfast tacos since we left San Antonio. It has been, for the most part, a fruitless venture. Either the salsa tastes like nothing but chopped tomatoes, or the tortillas are right out of a plastic bag, or the eggs have never been formally introduced to butter or salt. (Makes you want to cry, doesn’t it?)
We tried The Spicy Bite because it was in the neighborhood, and I believe in going local when humanly possible. I was thrilled to find homemade tortillas, well cooked potatoes and eggs, and decent salsa! My five year old polished off two bacon and egg in record time– even though she previously swore that she didn’t like bacon.
The people on the phone are pleasant and efficient, and I highly recommend talking to them, since the drive through takes approximately a week and a half.

Great place to eat delicious food and great prices, very friendly staff.
My favorite is the Fajitas.

I have only had their Tacos. But they are great. One day I was working in kyle, and they did a morning taco run. They were so delicious. And I live in kyle and had still not tried it yet. I’m hooked. I try to get over there every weekend for some breakfast tacos. Friendly staff too.

This place is a joke service was very bad and was even asked if we can move to another table. The super taco is not super at all a little ass taco with burnt eggs for $ 4.99 lol rip off and the only thing that was good was the ice water

My husband and I have been coming here since they opened, we love this place they have the best breakfast around! We moved farther away and we still come back here whenever we can, they have great Migas and homemade tortillas. My husband and son love the menudo, they also have a super taco that will keep you full until dinner !! I highly recommend this place, also the staff is very friendly !!

Best breakfast tacos in the area! The other food is tasty, as well. We eat here at least once a month.

I don’t see all the 3 star reviews, I’d give’em 5 but I’m trying to break my all or nothing streak. The breakfast tacos are where it’s at on this review, as haven’t been in there for dinner yet. Bacon egg and cheese on flower with an actual strip of bacon, bean and cheese both excellent. Great service, courteous staff. All around good experience, i will be back.

Great breakfast tacos! There are many breakfast taco places in the area, but we prefer Spicy Bite. We go once a week and are never diappointed.

I like my comforts. Simple habits with a consistent quality that I know won’t change.
Spicy Bite us just that. It’s not far from home, it doesn’t break the bank and when they’re not sold out of it, the agua de melon is delicious!
Not a phenomenal menu but good enough for me to keep returning. It’s close and convenient. If I don’t feel like cooking or just a quick weekend breakfast, it fits the bill.
One thing that gets my consistent visit is the staff. Friendly and great and special requests or substations. I can’t remember the last time I had an issue with my order not being correct. Spot on!
They are in a smaller strip building that shares a few other businesses so space is tight, inside and out. Kyle has just grown too fast to keep up with though.

Great atmosphere and very nice staff. Busy is an understatement! Breakfast tacos were OK but nothing special. Their sauce is what saved the meal.

My husband and I came here for a quick breakfast… the building is small but holds about 10 tables. We selected for both our plates to be spicy and they were! They had delicious homemade tortillas — fluffy and soft, homemade red and green sauces of which the green was hotter but I’m giving 3 stars bc the beans, refried, were thin and watery with almost no flavor, the eggs were quickly done and a bit soggy and the potatoes lacked flavor. It was a decent cheap (5.99/plate) breakfast but I definitely expected more. I will return for the pancakes bc I like to give everyone a second chance. Overall, decent food @ a decent price. Enjoy!

Went in for breakfast early on a sunday. Can see why there would be a wait later in the day as there are not many tables. They seemed to be doing a good amount of drive through and take out service also. Service was good… waitress was pleasant and got our food quickly and was prompt with coffee refills. The food was very good… we both had a couple of breakfast tacos. Price for food was good. Would have given the place four stars but for cleanliness… as in the place just didn’t seem clean. There was old food on the menus, the table was sticky and the wall next to the table had splatters of something on it. The place seems like it’s in need of a really good top to bottom deep cleaning. Again the food was good but when the area where customers eat isn’t all that clean it makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.
