Ohhhh Panda Express I want to love you, but you make it so hard! How do you screw up steamed rice? It is not suppose to crack you teeth when you bite into it. And BTW did you know when your spring rolls are so old that the oils solidify it is time to toss them… and one last thing, when you have a customer who buys a four meals and puts out the bucks and you put one measly fortune cookie in their bag– hey that is part of the fun guys! Overall a very disappointing experience. The upside of the order was my husband enjoyed his tofu eggplant, he was happy the tofu was cut into smaller pieces and not the usual four large pieces. And it was warm. Isn’t that sad.

The food was good and the service was pretty cool. There were few available options of food from their menu. This place wasn’t ideal for a longer stay. The ambiance was not so relaxing because of the disorganized table. They must improve all the dishes or else I’m not going back here.

If you are in a pinch, you can survive by stopping in here, other than that it is just not that good. Considering the price though it, is good for the money.

I normally don’t write reviews for big corporate fast food places because reviews don’t really matter for them because people don’t obviously come here for the experience. It’s quick, cheap, convienent and edible. That being said, I come here a lot due to those reasons. I actually really did enjoy the food here. But I had to write a review for the HORRIBLE experience I had today. It was too horrible to forgot. The lady serving the food today 8⁄23 around 3:30 — 4:00 pm was really rude. We were asking questions and she chose to ignore the questions. She’s a robot and only programmed to ask certain questions and scoop the food. She didn’t even offer as any samples of the food. They have this new stupid campaign for orange chicken and it looks amazing in the pictures but today it was literally BLACK chicken. The orange chicken was very dark in color and burnt. I have no idea what they did to it but it’s worse that I have ever seen before. Also the string bean chicken was unedible There were a lot of dark parts and I had no idea what it was. The potstickers were dry and burnt. The service was just bad overall. We had FOUR orders and they gaves ZERO fortune cookies. Um excuse me? The décor is laughable at best. The square chairs are not very practical or comfortable. It’s a joke. Panda express is fast food not fine dining. The quality of the food was better when this place had ugly seating. Now that they improved the quality of the indoor seating, the quality of the food has gone down. Management really needs to read this review and fix their staff and their food. HORRIBLEHORRIBLEHORRIBLE. I will not be coming back here. Garbage.

Horrible service. Went in spent $ 85. Ordered veggie spring rolls. Got home to eat found the other ones. Called manager to complain. Because my niece is vegetarian and all he could say is they aren’t as advertised because they are made with beef broth. They are selling false products. Nowhere does it state with mest broth

soooo sad there are NO vegan options! The veggies and chow mein aren’t even vegan. I would totally eat here if I could…

Pretty clean location. But I had better tasting food in other Panda Express locations. Parking is ample.

Regular Panda Express. Great if you’re craving Chinese take out.

They know how to make the chow mein without burning it. The orange chicken’s quality has gone downhill at every location. It’s extra bread-y and usually dark meat with TONS of chicken fat in it. I’m going to guess is 100% thigh/butt chicken meat. Anything«steak» is very questionable as it really seems like it’s a sausage steak. A sausage steak is when they put a bunch of beef cuts together with flavorings to try to create«angus» steak. Bleh. And anything shellfish is for sure farmed. If you’re ok with all of this, then go ahead and pay the 7 – 10 $ for 2 – 3 items with no drink. If I’m craving it I usually just get kung pow chicken with chow mein and maybe the honey walnut shrimp. That’s all.

Redecorated the place. Looks fine. The previous décor was also fine. They are starting to get real busy. Sometimes the line is so long, I leave. Parking can be a little tight when they are busy, but there’s street parking. The tofu and eggplant is good when the eggplant is soft. Sometimes the eggplant should be cut into small pieces. Sometimes I’ll skip the fried rice and noodles and instead get the veggies as my side, but it’s not as tasty. The vegetable egg rolls are good. Don’t forget to get the sauce! Beijing beef is really good, but I hate it when it gets between your teeth. Broccoli and beef is also good, but it’s better when the meat is cut into small pieces. The beef gets cooked better.

Location is in the community of La Canada-Flintridge. Spotless place. New building. Outside seating. Next to PINKBERRY. My daughter enjoyed her chow mein while I stuffed my face with froyo.

Good food fast. Staff is friendly and efficient and moves the line along. Because they are always so busy they are constantly cooking the food fresh. Only drawback is you have to really pay attention to the caloric count on some of the dishes… I.e. Beijing Beef is 690! Calories per serving… ouch. Just cuz its Asian doesn’t mean some dishes won’t make your ass fat! One of my favs is the Angus Steak which is only 190 calories so its delicious and easy on the ASS! Enjoy!

I grew up w the panda inn and panda express chains. I was a teenager hanging out at the glendale galeria where the first panda express opened. I have since tried pandas all over the u.s. I believe the la canada location to be the best. I have been to some locations where they skimp portions, not here. Food is always fresh and service is always great. Management runs this place right!

Pretty cool place. All the food is fresh, the servers are nice. They forgot to give me saunce for my chicken once but I go to this panda like once every other week and the quality compared to other panda expresses have been pretty good. The store is a lot cleaner than any other panda i’ve been to. The staff constantly clean the store and tables after and before the lunch rush.

Best panda around. Always fresh and clean. Never run out of the good stuff. The only down side is that the line can be long if you come at rush hour.

There is nothing quite like Panda Express. I have lived in Asia for the last 5 years but make sure to eat Panda whenever I come home because American Chinese is nothing like actual Chinese food; I mean that in the sweetest way possible. Give me fried rice, orange chicken, and beef & broccoli any day. Also, I love that this chain is a homegrown favorite.

I just visited here last weekend. The remodel of the place is amazing. The food seems to have improved. They had a steak dish that was awesome. The service for lunch was super fast we were in and out in 30 minutes and this Panda taste better that some sit down Chinese restaurants in the local area. I notices they did catering to speaking to a customer who was picking up for a work function. Pretty smart idea. Great alternative to burgers if you ask me.

Stopped in to get an order of just orange chicken. There was a lunch rush and the server was courteous enough to ask if I wanted to wait for a fresh batch! That has never ever happened at any Panda establishments! I would definitely keep coming back to this location to get my orange chicken fix.

I love this location. The only downside is that they often take awhile — however, things always taste pretty fresh, which is good. I really enjoy the new shiitake kale chicken breast. Tried it today for the first time and it’s excellent. I also love the cream cheese rangoons — my guilty pleasure. They usually need to make these, but it’s good because they are crispy and don’t have a chance to get soggy. Other favorites: orange chicken and the beef/broccoli.

Oscar That was the name of the person whose service made up for such slow service. I went to eat here at around 8:00pm on a Thursday night and when we had arrived there were only 2 people in front of us. Unfortunately, there was a family of 3 ordering take out — approximately 10 to go boxes — that held up the line to a halt. At the time, there was also only 2 people working the line, one of which was Oscar, a young, happy go lucky, and customer oriented individual! Despite nasty looks from the line growing behind me, he kept on his genuine smile and helpful demeanor and attitude towards the customers, never once rushing any of the customers and continually apologizing for the slow service. It is hard to come by hard workers such as this young man and when I do, I cannot help but comment. It is people such as Oscar that give meaning to the words«customer service». Also, on a totally unbiased side note, he packs the boxes quite hefty!
