We really like this store. We love the one on Friday Harbor. I discovered in this store that they have Lavender Body butter. It feels really great. I have been using it for a few weeks now. They sell loose lavender that you can put in your own sachets if you are inclined to do so… very economical.

I first «discovered» this store when my terminally ill friend was craving real lavender and I could not find it anywhere. I told my mom and she mentioned Pelindaba and I called them and they put together a care package for me — a fantastic box of various goodies, all for less than $ 30! It arrived in the mail in 2 days! All of the stuff was first class quality and packaged so beautifully.
I finally had the opportunity to go in the store myself last week, and I was very impressed. This is one classy place, not crammed full of junk, but lots of light and open space and wood floors in a perfect setting to explore all the interesting things they make using lavender. Nancy was working that day and she could not have been nicer, a perfect blend of friendly and informative without being pushy with sales. I can’t wait to visit their farm this summer!

Everything in the store comes from the Pelindaba Farm on San Juan Island. If something can be made from lavender, you can find it here (including ice cream!). The store is roomy, well-​stocked and of course, smells fantastic. This place will be added to our «must stop in here» list of places in Laconner.
