I followed my hairdresser Annie here over 2 years ago. Hairmasters is the best little secret in La Crescenta/La Canada area! All of the stylists are amazing. The prices are very reasonable too.

Absolutely love this place at first I was hesitant to try this place out because of old bad reviews but I’m so GLAD I gave it a chance. Loretta did my hair and she was amazing ! She took her time and did an amazing job making sure I left the salon feeling happy. She literally turned my hair from jet black to caramel blonde just how I wanted it !! I’m very pleased. As far as pricing goes people are complaining about how they overcharge but u get what u pay for. Anyways I will def be back thank you Loretta !! :)

Amazing service. If you go here ask for Linda!!! I’ve been seeing her so I can go a little blonder than what I previously had and she’s been so humble and helpful. Thank you for everything Linda.

I went to HairMasters because it was convenient… close to home. I asked for a total price beforehand and it seemed a little high, but okay. I had already washed my hair at home, and told the lady that I did not need a shampoo. She and another lady still insisted/pressured me to have it washed again before the cut$$. After the haircut, when I was at the cashier paying, another lady hair cutter told the lady at the cashier that she should have charged me more because my hair was very long. They spoke in Armenian/English so I caught some words and it made me feel uncomfortable. I had already tipped my cutter well, and I wish I hadn’t. The haircuts aren’t anything special either.

The hairstylist will charge you hair treatment fee at least $ 9 without asking for your approval. Bad haircut skill, my hair looked awkward with drastic layers. Hair color all over your forehead, face. Horrible place to go to. Never go there again.

I have been going to this Salon for years now, and I always leave completely satisfied. They do a wonderful job on cut, color, and blow-dry. There is no where else I will ever go because I don’t trust anyone else with my hair!

First off I walked in here with NO appt, and it was busy but they took me right away anyways but this armenian lady screwed up my hair(all I asked for was layers) luckily I complained about it and this other lady Martha was a life saver because she had to correct the previous cut and she did it quickly, professionally and beautifully I would come back here but only to Martha, the armenian lady was worse than beauty school students lol plus she reeked of ciggerettes yuck!

I consider myself pretty boring when it comes to my hair. The same color touch up and the same cut. No frills, no layers, straight bangs and trim the frizz. After four year I still have to tell my stylist the same thing over and over. She would never remember to use something to keep the dye off my face if I didn’t remind her and she ALWAYS gets the dye on my face. That stuff takes days to wash off my dry skin. My bangs are about three different lengths right now — she is inconsistent when she cuts them and it is always an argument about how short to go — I like Anna Mae Wong short — four years and she still doesn’t get that. The nice thing I can say is that she has never taken more off the back then I allow. Because that is hard to find I have stayed this long but I always leave frustrated. Time to move on.

I’ve been coming here for tha past 4 years, and it’s because of one lady who works here… Loreta!!! I’ve never had any of the other ladies cut my hair, but I don’t need to… cuz I found Loreta! It’s hard for me to find someone who can cut my hair correctly and consistent, so I’m a fan for life. And, if she ever leaves, then I’m hiring her on contract and flying her out to cut my hair whenever and wherever! Hahaha! Seriously though, be sure to ask for Loreta, and you won’t be disappointed.

I took my family here yesterday and here’s what happened: Spouse: 3⁄5 — decent haircut. Nice job Myself: 2⁄5 — I think I’m spoiled because I’m used to people asking me how I part my hair before they start cutting away at it. They didn’t bother to ask. I had to interject. My son: 1⁄5 — I should start out by saying it was partly my fault because I didn’t know what the hell I was asking for. Still. The woman couldn’t speak or understand English very well and ended up shaving my son’s head. We wanted a short haircut, but not that short. She kept laughing uncomfortably and telling me it wasn’t her fault — which technically, it wasn’t entirely her fault, but customer service is NOT about making excuses and blaming the entire thing on the client. My son was devastated and wanted to hide from the world until it grew back out. My daughter: 2⁄5 — it was uneven at first and I had to have them cut it more to even it out. This was a different stylist, but again, she blamed my daughter for moving around. I watched and my daughter was NOT moving around. Overall: 1⁄5 — Horrible customer service and not very experienced stylists. They blame the customers rather than apologizing for their mistakes. If they had been more experienced, I wouldn’t have had to tell them how I parted my hair, they would have explained to me fully that my son would end up with a buzz cut before they did it, and my daughter’s hair wouldn’t have been uneven in the first attempt.
