The only reason I give this place 4 starts is because there is no sit down area for adults. I had a bunch of kids upstairs doing homework and such, but it would be really nice to have my boba there and sit and hang out or surf the web. The Boba is 5 star!!!

Drove by this place 100000 times, and finally i decided to go and get a check it out. The lady at the counter recommended a strawberry slushie. Meh!!! The drink was pretty much ice and strawberry flavor syrup with old boba in the bottom. The lady at the counter recommended this drink as nice and refreshing, it was not that great. and in future ill probably keep driving past this place.

Whenever I fill my car with gas at the Shell across the street, Snack Corner’s waffle smell wafts over and it’s heaven. The twice I’ve visited hasn’t given me the best boba experience(not very chewy and an iced slush freezes the boba), but it fine when you’re craving. A bit better than Patio 5.2’s boba(which has a mediciney hint to it) but that’s another review to get into. Once I had a white chocolate mocha blended coffee slush, which was really sweet but didn’t taste like coffee. Another time I got a mango ice slush, which was actually really good but the iciness of it froze the boba on the bottom a little! The place is very cute, the seating portion of the store seems like a good place to hang out/study, and the lady at the register is very polite. This particular location of this store has a habit of fairly good asian snack shops that mysteriously close down.

I wish I could give this place a good review but I just can’t. Prices are sky high for not so great boba. I told the lady INKOREAN(so no language barrier) about three times that I don’t want a lot of ice and yet I paid 5 dollars for a cup half filled with ice. I used to come here almost every week a couple years ago with my best friend for the ramen+dduk boki combo but now it seems though the price has doubled since.

Snack Corner is next in line at this cursed location of La Crescenta. Before it was Café Hazelnut, then Cefiore, and a slew of other snack shops including T*Box. My sister and I came in on a Saturday afternoon ’cause we just wanted to try what the new store would taste like. When we came in, a girl in front of us was asking the lady behind the counter for a recommendation, but she just smiled and nodded, clearly not understanding what was being asked. We played translator so if you don’t speak Korean, don’t stray too far off the menu items ’cause she won’t know what you’re saying. We ordered a yogurt slushie and milk tea boba. It does take a bit of time because it seems like the woman is the only one working behind the counter. The yogurt slushie was pretty good, a little icy but not bad. The iciness started to cause the boba at the bottom to brown up and freeze though so that was kind of sad. I think 5.2 has better milk tea because I feel like theirs is more flavorful. All in all, Snack Corner’s a-okay but nothing exciting. I wish it the best of luck in not being the next business in this location to fail.

The BOBA is really great, but I ask for extra. I like my boba to fill up ½ way. My favs… Green Tea & Moca!

I’ve tried other boba places in the area, and I gotta say, this is the best one! Their boba texture is always soft yet chewy, and fresh(just how it should be). I like their milk tea with boba, and my friends have tried their other flavors and like theirs too. They also sell snacks and other foods(i.e., chicken teriyaki, noodles, korean food) and have yet to try it. That’s next on my list. This is s family-owned place and the lady owner is always so friendly – friendliness is always a plus in my book. Tip: Best to order ahead of time so you can do a quick pickup rather than waiting 7 – 10 minutes for your drink.

I come here ONLY for Boba and it’s pretty darn good. It’s better if you call in advance because it takes a bit of time for the way they prepare the drinks even thought it’s not busy. I’m looking forward to trying the food which is good selection of Korean dishes.

Oh how I love this place. Not only does it have old school snacks(think Ring Pops), current day snacks, and plenty of drinks to choose from, but also delicious food for lunch, and fantastic boba smoothies. Of course I have to specifically mention the spicy pork and kalbi tacos, because wow, they’re incredible! What adds to everything is that the women who work here are a couple of sweethearts. As for the prices, there’s no need to fret, they’re fair and decent. Honestly the other plus for me is that it’s ridiculously close to where I work which makes it an ideal spot to grab some quick food. And rest assured, quick it will always be since you never have to wait in a crazy long line. So will I continue to return? Definitely, why would I not?! Snack Corner, I adore you.
