Do not come here. Not too friendly and bad food. We asked for rolls since that was half the menu and«no rolls here.» The food took a long time to make even though there was nobody there. Sandwiches were not good just bread slabs and meat in the middle. If you want a good sandwich I recommend going somewhere else. I hate giving bad reviews but when the food is lackluster and looks like the ham sandwich my mom would send to school when I was younger, I’d pass.

Try somewhere else nearby. The croissants were stale and flies in the kitchen. I was holding my coffee and she handed me two plates to carry out to friends at an outside table.

I see that past reviews say that there is wifi. There is no wifi now. Three stars because it is a nice little place, my coffee was good and the lady is nice. There is also a TV which is a plus. I agree with the guy that says it doesn’t deserve one star, but a place named Café MoJoe needs wifi and will probably lose a lot of business over it.

Good coffee, good muffins, good sushi, good service, nice owner. 4 stars because nothing is perfect. The person griping about bad wifi and background music and not enough butter on the bagel needs to get better dietary habits and quit finding things to be unhappy about. Not everyone wants noise. To give a food & beverage establishment one star over such trivia is silly.

Huge disappointment in both food and services. I ordered hot tea and a plain bagel with butter instead of cream cheese, The butter was spread so thin that I could barely taste it. NOWIFI! I can’t believe in this day and age a coffee shop doesn’t have Wi-Fi. I needed a place to work on my laptop while I waited for my car and Café Mojoe was close. Because this is a brick building cellphone service is also terrible so I could not connect to the Internet via my phone. this place appears to be strictly grab and go, nobody was seated inside but me because there is no Internet availability, also there is no background music so it’s eerily quiet

Truly delicious bagel and a well made latte. As barista with 11 years of experience, I find it difficult to find a consistent, delicious latte in San Diego(nevermind a cappuccino) and this place satisfies nicely.

Excellent café! Although the inside is a bit dark and there isn’t much decoration, they have great drinks. Their chai tea latte has great flavor and is not at all watery with an awesome cinnamon kick. I’ve also heard great things about their boba drinks since they are so popular in the area. Mojoe’s also has great food too! The pastries are always a good option, but they have great sushi/sashimi and breakfast items. The woman running the place is very sweet and provides pretty quick service considering that she seems to be running it by herself.

I frequented this café nearly everyday for a year or so. The owner is a delightful woman and she makes excellent bagels. She also has a keen sense of who will make an excellent employee(good luck at Stanford Koji!). The coffee was usually good to excellent and the prices more than fair. My fellow attendees were also fair but their personalities were poor to moderate.

I stopped in last Sunday afternoon to grab a cold drink. My iced vanilla latte was very good & strong. Wifi didn’t come up on my iPhone, but I also didn’t ask about it. They have a small 7 spot parking lot. Dark ambiance, but very quiet if you needed to be focused on studying. There were baked goods & some food from Costco: lemon bites, yoplait, etc. plus a big menu of sandwiches. I would come back if I was in the area.

We go there everyday since I work less than a block away. Lydia is a very friendly person and makes the bomb Caramel Machiato. I’ve since tried to go to Starbucks for the same coffee and Starbucks SUCKS compared to Mojos. A definite referral from me for it’s worth! Oh, the Breakfast Sandwiches are kinda high in price but are the BOMB!

This place reminds me of having coffee in small towns. The owner Lydia is very friendly and knows her regulars by name. She spends a good amount of time frothing each cappuccino individually, and it’s worth the wait!

They no longer have WiFi. I went in looking for a connection based on other reviews from Unilocal, but the woman behind the counter said they dont’ have it anymore The place feel kind of sterile — less ambiance than a starbucks. The coffee was OK

So much attachment to this place. I used to go to school around the block, so I’ve seen this place change hands several times, but I think they’ve settled down now. The owner, Lydia is incredibly sweet. Technically speaking, the store opens at 6:30, but she saw me sitting outside and let me in 10 minutes early. When I arrive in the morning, I often grab a table and catch up on schoolwork while munching on breakfast. On a typical day I’ll spot at least 5 people I know grabbing their morning fix, and at least 2 local regulars in the 40 minutes I’m sitting there. Needless to say, this place is definitely a community favorite. Free wifi is always a plus when you’re frantically writing that paper half an hour before class. I usually order a large caramel macchiato, more milk-based than coffee based, but delicious. Sugary though, order one with an extra shot if you need more caffeine. The almond Nutridel cookies are delightful when dipped in the caramel macchiato. Lattes are also pretty good here. My friends also usually order: passion fruit smoothies, mochas, mexican hot chocolates or green tea smoothies. Admittedly the décor is a little odd and not exactly the slickest place in town, but if you’re looking for a low-key place to work with plenty of affordable fuel(carbs & caffeine), this is the place for you.

Best chai tea lattes I’ve ever had — half spiced and half vanilla– unreal. The staff is awesome. Great neighborhood joint.

Woah. i’m pretty surprised this place got such high reviews. I normally probably wouldn’t give it a one but i honestly think the overall rating should be lower. It just wasn’t good. I wouldn’t go back. It was cheap coffee and they didn’t even have an ice maker? They just had 1 normal house sized refridgerator which they scraped the ice off of for drinks. AND. my friend ordered an iced coffee and they literally used steamed milk that had been sitting out for so long that it wasn’t warm anymore for the milk. i find that pretty disgusting. Yeah, it was cheaper than the many other places around but those products will definitely be better than this.

what the hell? why does this place have a 4? maybe i just came on a bad day or the wrong time or something. But when i walked in, half of the lights in this place were off, it was completely empty, the bake case door was wide open? just open. for no reason. Not like i care or anything, i just assumed they were closed or something. Ok. So i ordered an iced coffee with hazlenut. the lady who rang me up was really nice though. so i guess i’ll bump this review up to 1.5. SO. She makes the iced coffee for me and then asks if i want cream. and i ask for soy. she walks over to the espresso machine where she had the pitchers of milk that have/are going to be steamed or something. Now, i work at a coffee shop. i know that first of all, whether the milk was already steamed or is going to be steamed, you don’t leave it sitting out! that’s gross. And milk is never in a pitcher unless it has been steamed… that said, she walks over to the pitcher, takes off the 3 plates that were sitting on top of the pitcher of soy. and she pours it into my drink. I have no idea how long that was sitting there, or if it had been steamed. But either way, all i know is that it wasn’t in the fridge. and the place was completely empty when we went in, so i highly doubt that it was recently poured into the pitcher and still cold at all. gross. And my drink wasn’t good. it tasted stale, weak and had a weird aftertaste. ugh. i ended up throwing it away and going back to a place i know i could trust, haha. what a disappointment. I’m just thinking i went in on a bad day or something. i hope. because if this is what people consider a 4, that makes me worried.

Good service(actually, great!), not good baked goods… the scone I ordered this morning is hard, stale, and though it should taste like chocolate, it has a faint hint of banana taste… probably like the way that a peanut butter sandwich in a lunch box takes on a nuance of the banana hanging out with it all day. Not my favorite. The woman who owns the place(or so I assume) is very friendly– always says«good morning» and says it with a genuine smile. The café itself is nice, never too crowded, always bright and cheery. Also, they have a credit card minimum of $ 5 which is always a bummer for me since I NEVER seem to have cash on hand. But the guy behind the counter let me off with a total of $ 4.05 and a wink… so I tipped ‘em to make up the difference.

I was a little disappointed by this café, my mocha left a bad taste in my mouth and the café lacked a lively atmosphere. There wasn’t a soul in the place when I was there although the staff was friendly, I just expected more from a café that is located in such neat little area, where there are a litany of cool coffee shops, like Harry’s close by. Although Café Mojoe has plenty of sweet drinks, I wish they had more wholesome snacks like salads on the menu. That said, if I was in the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back for another drink, but I think I would try their chai tea next time.

Nice and airy café. The coffee is good, and the service is friendly and attentive. The staff brings your sandwich and beverage to your table while you are absentmindedly browsing the Internet(WiFi access). One down note: the Chai I ordered the last time was way too creamy and not spicy enough; I wouldn’t recommend it.

Sick of the crappy slushies at cheap convenient stores? Check out Café MoJoe’s fine selection of high-grade slushies. And if you think slushies are for kids, first, you’re very, very wrong, and second, MoJoe’s has fruit smoothies and crazy coffee blends, too. A quick side note; not only does MoJoe’s have free wireless, it also has a printer for customers to use(I’m not sure if it’s free, but it’s there).
