Great food and service. I have eaten at every Mexican restaurant in the La Mirada area and still cannot find the same level of food.

Amazing Unilocal find me and gf had a menudo and a birria de chivo for under 20 bucks. I’m so glad I skipped the traditional American breakfast. Do not hesitate to come here and make sure you arrive early since place gets packed and menudo runs out

Super friendly workers and they have good taco Tuesday deals! Their agua Fresca cantaloupe drink is pretty good.

Had ordered from here for a birthday party and couldn’t have been more satisfied… Went in to the restaurant the employee sat down with me and explained all options that would be best for my event… She stated she would make sure everything was packaged perfectly for when I pick up the day of the event… I have to say everything was perfectly packaged and order was ready in time for pick up… I love that the catering trays for all the condiments were in separate trays… Cilantro, onions, limes, salsa and tortillas… Everyone was very satisfied and I will definitely have this place cater again…

This is seriously the only authentic Mexican food you’ll find in La Mirada. I’ve lived here for almost 12 years and just found this hidden gem. My boyfriend has lived here all his life and had no idea this place was in LM. We eat here every time we’re craving the good stuff and don’t feel like driving out to LA for grandma’s cooking, lol. I highly recommend the ceviche tostadas, tacos al pastor, and the super burrito. Keep in mind that the super burrito is way too big for just one person which is awesome because you can share it with 3 people and it’s only $ 9.99!!! Love this place and I’m honestly a little annoyed with myself for not finding it sooner!

OMG… I’ve been to this place off and on for lunch. Just grabbed some tacos and a fish plate.. it’s always been great…
But this morning I felt like getting some Carne asada to take home… I went in and this place was packed… I waited and it seemed like menudo was the item people were coming for… they were even bringing in their own pots to be filled for take out!
Needless to say.. I ordered my pound of Carne asada, a container of rice… and what the hell a container of birria…
Wholy crap!
I came home and opened the birria… I was going to save some foe later… But damn… It was so good I just about ate the whole container!
Thank you for such a wonderful meal and I will DEFINITELY be back on a weekend for it and other wonderful items!

I had the worst ceviche shrimp tostada all it Tasted like was tomatoes, onions and cucumber. They cut like 4 shrimps and dice it so tiny! Not worth spending 9 bucks on two salty tostadas. Never again! Super salted and half scoop size was ²⁄₃ or less. Oh and they don’t even peel the cucumbers.

WORST TACOS EVER!!! I had the 4 tacos for $ 5.99. The «AL PASTOR» is just pork with some red sauce that was way to salty. The waitress recommended the «CABEZA» tacos and oh my gosh… it tasted like it had gone bad and looked like it was cooked days ago. I was almost ready to throw up. I’m so disappointed in wasting my time and money at this place.

I found this place on Unilocal,my parents wanted birria so I searched and found this place just a few minutes away. The food was delicious, chips and salsa brought to the table were tasty too. The restaurant was celebrating their 20 year anniversary they had a mariachi playing outside, kids were given balls. I will definitely come back again and try some of their other plates.

This place is so close to home, it’s my go to for a fast meal. Also, if you check in, you can get 10% off your check.
The tacos are always a great choice. I really enjoy their burritos. I also like their wet burrito but I get it with both red and green sauce.
I don’t really enjoy their nachos or fries because they don’t use cheddar cheese. They use the mexican crema so although authentic, I prefer regular cheese.
They have a salsa bar and the green sauce is very good! They also have chips you can enjoy. Their homemade hot sauce (which they sell the bottles) is spicy and adds a nice kick.
Overall, they are consistent and friendly and I really enjoy the food.

Great service and great food. Everything comes of promptly and fresh. The taco specials area great choice: 4 tacos for $ 5.99 or 2 shrimp tostadas for $ 7.00 or 2 Mexican shrimp cocktails for $ 17.99. They have a salsa bar with a variety of house made salsas some spicy, and some not. The tacos are great! Try the al pastor, so much flavor. Check this place out!

Tacos were pretty decent. The restaurant is a bit small but the worker was very friendly. I got the 4 carne asada taco plate. Wish they had more of the pickled carrot and onion though. Sauces tasted okay. They have free chips.

Neanderthal see cavesister in dance recital this past flyday. Before go see dance, neanderthal look up food option nearby. Neanderthal decide go here and very happy to do so!
When pull in, parking lot pretty small but several open space to choose from.
Inside, first thing notice, smell so good. Smell of restaurant always set tone of what to expect, and this smell result in very high expectation. Did taqueria meet/​exceed neanderthal expectation or fall short? Stay toon to find out!
Neanderthal order california burrito. Cavewife order chilly le rhyno and wholechata. They have salsa bar and free chips. Chips very good, and neanderthal very impressed with salsas! Neanderthal make mistake of eating hot salsa before getting drink ha ha! Face got all sweaty and people behind counter probably make fun of Neanderthal for being salsa wimp but neanderthal no care or even take serious or even write about it in diary later that night or anything ha ha ha…
But when california burrito arrive and is size of small human, neanderthal realize this is oppertunity to redeem hinself. Perhaps just in neanderthal head, but could almost swear to hear eye of the tiger play as I conquer burrito. Every bite taste better than last. When finish, neanderthal feel like bloated stegosaurus ha ha!
All in all, this might be favorite california burrito neanderthal ever to eaten before. Neanderthal never make point to go to la merauder before. But now, already feeling itch to come back again. Next time to try super burrito.

First time here. Good. Nice comfortable dining area. Lots of specials. I had the four tacos and an orange bang. Good. Salsa bar with decent spicy avacado sauce, as well as others. Self serve chips too. The people who work here are friendly. I’ll be back.

If you’re looking for a quick fix of authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend this little hole in the wall joint. As a small yet noticeably expanding restaurant, you get more than what you pay for.
With an unlimited chips and salsa bar, fast service and hot fresh food, this place has got it down. The location is prime for its demographic and any regular would express the same love.
The menu includes a variety of dishes, from a la carte to catering, they’ve got it.
I myself filled up on chips and their delicious guacamole & salsa. I had ordered the chilequilles with chicken which I believed was the greatest decision I’ve made in quite some time.
If you’re in the area or just on your lunch break (like me) give them a shot. You won’t be disappointed
As I’m writing this I’ve had two different workers ask me if everything is to my liking…

CAN I HAVE SOME MEAT WITH THAT SALT?
The precooked* grey (never touched a griddle) Asada meat had SALT for days !
The Al pastor was not grilled either, it was stewed… and you guessed it SALTY
The Carnitas had seen better days and were also heavily SALTED
(I tried my sisters carnitas since she took one bite and gagged)
I could not gage the flavor of meats because of the heavy doses of SALT
The pickled carrots were the best thing I had there.
Staff a bit strict as I tried to order 3 meats on the 4 taco special and was told I can only sample 2 meats* really? I think they spared me.
I will not in good conscience ever go back to this wannabe taco place.
This place is flat out way too SALTY and no flavor can be found.
Excuse me as I drink a gallon of coconut water to flush out the SALT

Mrs. loves this place. While I prefer Cilantros due to their Chicken tacos, Mrs. loves the steak tacos at Taqueria. We always get food to go.
Pros:
1) 4 Taco special makes it a bargain.
2) Close to home.
3) Salsa bar and Nachos to pack ourselves.
Cons:
1) Not much parking.

I can’t believe I’ve never tried this taqueria until now. Its definitely a hidden gem.
I ordered the bean & cheese burrito, which is so simple, but honestly one of the best I’ve had. I don’t know what it is about their tortilla, beans & cheese, but it was so good! Ask them to grill the tortilla a little bit, so that it doesn’t get too soggy.
I absolutely love their sauces, the avocado salsa & the spicy hot sauce has amazing flavor & both are perfectly spicy. There’s also a mini station to bag your own chips if you order to-​go!
I’ll definitely come back again especially the next time I’m having a cheat day.
