Friendly, quick service but the food was bland and WAY overpriced! I got the shrimp pesto pasta for $ 29 and it had no taste! My margarita was $ 17. I highly recommend going into the town as we found some phenomenal restaurants like Stuft, Main Street Grill, Old Town Coffee, and My Thai.

Was last minute reservation for 4 of us wanted to sit outside because we saw 3 empty four tops was told by hostess they were committed. Sat inside sort of loud but we still could converse. Decided on ordering 4 different items so we all could share. Server was informative he told us the specials 1 of which we ordered the Sea bass, we also had the scallop and risotto, flatbread pizza BBQ chicken, and the crab cake. The pizza our least favorite, had pickled jalapeño and chicken a little cheese(needed more cheese) it wasn’t that great actually way too many peppers way too overpowering and why use canned jalapeño when fresh are so readily available? Also the chicken was really dry and flavorless. The scallop was good one scallop nice size u10 –12. The crab cake had a lot of crab and very little filler, nice flavor and decent sized app. Our favorite dish was the sea bass nice crispy skin with a great flavor also nice presentation. All in all good spot for small bites will come back.

Came here late night with a big group and we were able to be seated immediately even though it was decently busy and there were a lot of people there for Coachella. The food was surprisingly much better than i expected but everything is just a little pricy but that can be expected since it is at a hotel. We got the caprese flatbread and it was excellent. Sliders were average, fries were DELICIOUS. They have beers on tap, tons of drinks, shots of tequila, wine and you can even get a $ 65 glass of Johnny Walker blue and you can buy cigars as well. You cant smoke them in the bar but you can go outside to smoke them. Can’t really go wrong here, but this is just a review for the bar/bar food. Great casual atmosphere to grab some fingers foods and drinks.

We always stop here for breakfast or lunch while staying at La Quinta Resort. I really like the outdoor dining tables. They have a great view of the resort. The food is delicious(although costly!) last time I had the heirloom tomato & burrata cheese salad. It was very tasty! My husband had a cheeseburger that he really enjoyed! I enjoyed stealing fries from him! :) the wait staff are always kind and attentive. In the evenings, the indoor seating is very cozy.

Are here for breakfast both days we were staying for our Minimoon. The servers were fantastic, we even asked a question about a dish yesterday that the server remembered today. We were greeted with little smoothie samples too since we were repeat customers(and we are celebrating getting married!) Go for the blueberry hot cakes if you have an appetite– yum! The bourbon maple syrup is beyond delicious. In short, well worth a trip if you’re staying at the resort. Update: Roberto just brought us belinis and they are delicious! Did we mention how attentive Roberto is? Definitely ask for him!

I was so surprised by our meal given the 3.5 stars on Unilocal. We decided to get brunch here before driving back to LA and sat on the patio. Wanting to eat lightly, we ordered the lump crab cake and the farro salad with salmon. Both items were delicious. The crab cake was full of crab meat with minimal filler. The salmon was one of the best grilled salmons I have ever had, perfectly cooked and not dry at all. I highly recommend both of these items, and wish I could go back for more salmon! I also had a side of fries which were good, best part being the homemade ketchup.

We ate dinner, lunch and dinner again here while staying at the resort. Prices are reasonable for the location. Service was great the first dinner and lunch. *would have been five stars but. this made it four* The last day however, we had a very unfocused server. My husband’s beer was empty for quite the time. Prime rib was okayish. I ordered the bbq chicken flat bread. on the menu it didn’t say comes with cheese. The manager came over and said. «You didn’t want cheese on your pizza» I said, «it’s flat bread and the menu doesn’t say cheese anywhere» correct me if I’m wrong. but not all flat bread appetizers are flat bread pizza, unless the heading of the sections say«flat bread pizzas» and on this menu, it clearly did not. So as a manager, an apology would have been a little more appropriate then saying… you didn’t want cheese on your pizza and putting blame on customer… On the positive. they have the most amazing tomato soup! Seriously amazing! Their 26 salad is very bitter. so if you go for a side salad I would order or request a small romaine over their choice side salad. My husband loved loved the French dip sandwich. Fries were good. haha its rare that they are not. Hope this review helps!

We had the breakfast buffet and the food was awesome. The service is amazing! The hostess and waiters were super friendly and quick. I heard the cooks getting along and laughing in the kitchen which was great. Would absolutely recommend this place. However the guy they had making omelettes for order on Sunday August 16th was a jerk. It’s hard to believe a resort of this quality and service level would allow him to service their guests!

We just finished a great dining experience. From the pre-dinner drink and crab cake appetizer at the bar(ask for Ilene, she will take great care of you), through dinner and dessert from our terrific server Natalia, we were very well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The Manager stopped by our table to thank us for reserving through Open Table and the Chef came out to thank us for coming in. As I said, we started with the crab cake appetizer, sorry, no photos. Delicious lump crab, a bit of avocado relish and not much else. Nothing to interfere with the great crab they use! We then shared the Hanger Steak with Garlic Tots $ 27. This is served with house made ketchup, bearnaise sauce and steak sauce. I didn’t think it required any of them as it was so well seasoned, but they were all very tasty. We added the Picnic Salad and dessert to our dinner for an additional $ 9. You can select any dessert from the menu, not just a couple of simple options. The Cookie Dough torte(sorry, don’t recall the actual name) was delicious, although really rich. Share it! At the conclusion of our meal, we were presented with a frozen chocolate covered lime desert pop as a thank you for the Open Table reservation. We will certainly reserve on Open Table again, and will go back to Twenty6 sooner, rather than later. Update. Well we went back. Exactly one week later. Much different experience. Food was still good, but the service was lacking. The best example, one of our party was celebrating a birthday. Cookie dough cake and ice cream(with a candle) brought out, but the other two diners who paid to have dessert included were ignored. For more than 15 minutes. When our server finally wandered back and asked if there was a thing else we needed, she was reminded of the missing desserts. Yes. We did finally get the desserts. On the upside, our water was always full. Considering the distance we drive to dine in the desert, I suspect we will stop back in to some other favorites, and skip Twenty6. Sorry.

After driving in heavy, muggy rain, all we wanted to do was eat and drink immediately after checking into La Quinta Resort. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, blazoned with a vibrant orange pepper on top; the lady had the cheeseburger. Both were appetizing and satisfying, but nothing special. We both had the«Georgia Smash», a bourbon based cocktail. It sounded delicious on paper but was extremely sweet and tasted like straight peach juice from a can – I couldn’t taste the bourbon. The star of the meal was the buffalo sauce. As a natural chile /spicy food lover, I added the sauce to every thing. It had a delicate spiciness, yet rich with a buttery taste that forced you to dip your next fry in it The waiters were great and attentive – they even gave us free ice cream after finding out it was my wives birthday. I recommend this place if you’re hungry and just want to be satisfied with decent New American grub.

Family vacation at this resort which showcase this restaurant. Family friendly and tasty offerings to satisfy most palates. The service was great for dinner but a bit challenged during breakfast, which was a bit busier. Overall I would definitely recommend.

DISGUSTING in the summer. IF you happen to be seated outside-be prepared for an apocalypse of flies to cover your food. It was so bad, you start to question why they even offer outdoor seating. It got progressively worst as our round of drinks came out, then more with bread, then when appetizers arrived– we knew finishing the meal there would have been impossible. The wait staff was friendly and apologetic when we asked for our entrees to be boxed to go and we finished our dinners in our casita. The food was just ok– breakfast here was superb(we were seated inside) so the bar was set pretty high for dinner. I got the spinach and artichoke fettuccine with shrimp along with their french onion soup. The shrimp was huge and juicy, but the rest of the entrée was slightly under-flavored. My husband had the steak with tots. Steak is not something you can to-go and still enjoy unfortunately. Something about cutting into an overcooked hangar steak with plastic utensils just ain’t right. He really enjoyed his tots though. Overall, would definitely go back here for breakfast… a very slight maybe for dinner and only if you make reservations to sit inside… but that’s a huge maybe.

I’ve eaten here for breakfast and dinner! There isn’t anything on the menu that is subpar. All quality, delicious ingredients and the menu has something for every pallet. For breakfast, I recommend the French toast bread pudding or the lox and bagel, and for dinner, you MUST try the crab cake and any pasta dishes. The service is excellent; Robert(the head of stewarding) is the absolute best! He sets the standard.

I typically avoid hotel restaurants like the plague but leaving the massive compound of La Quinta Resort seemed too arduous of a task. Luckily, Twenty 6 delivered a solid meal and even better dessert! Nestled on the first floor near the lobby(a Mexican restaurant occupies the second floor space above it), Twenty 6 has an extensive amount of both indoor and outdoor tables. We initially picked outdoor as the weather was perfect, a band was playing on the patio and there was plenty to look at(a waterfall to the left, early 1900’s Spanish architecture to the right). Unfortunately we didn’t last long because a swarm of flies from a bush nearby came to attack our food. The staff was polite and helped us make our way indoors. Inside is dark yet inviting, with big booths, smaller tables, and a long bar to the right. They let us choose where we wanted to sit and were prompt with delivering our food. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the staff. They were all fantastic and personable. As for the food, my artichoke and spinach fettuccine arrived in a generous portion with some of the biggest shrimp I had ever seen! It was very flavorful and not drowning in sauce or oil which made me happy. The only downside was my pasta wasn’t made fresh on site. While I didn’t expect it to be, it would’ve been a nice touch for a plate that costed over $ 20. My husband ordered the farro and summer corn salad with grilled chicken. The ingredients were more unique than most salads and had great flavor. He couldn’t stop raving about it the entire weekend. The true star of the show came as dessert. Cookie dough ice box cake. Get it. It was freaking amazing! Layers of cookie dough sandwiched between chocolate ganache, with a crumbly cookie layer on top. It was decadent, caloric, and I probably need a triple bypass after eating it, but it was damn good! If you come here for only one thing this should be it.

I am appalled at how rudely I was treated by their hostess. I arrived at around 4:30 pm last Saturday and waited at the hostess area for a table of five. The hostess immediately dismissed me because she was setting up another table for five on the outdoor patio. Other than that party, the restaurant looked empty to me. There was no one else seated outside nor inside, other than at the bar. When she finally returned about ten minutes later she rudely dismissed me again, stating that the entire restaurant was full with reservations and that I’d need to wait about an hour to get a table — and only inside. Mind you, it’s 4:30 and other than the party of 5 that was just seated, the entire place is empty. As you can imagine, we were incensed that she made us wait 10 minutes — only to be so rudely addressed, so we left and immediately got seated upstairs at Adobe. Actually it was a blessing in disguise that we did NOT eat there. The following day my colleague dined on the Twenty 6 patio and came down with severe food poisoning where the LQ security had to rush him to the emergency room at 4AM. Other than this rude experience at Twenty 6, the rest of the staff at LQ was top notch, so I’m hoping this one bad apple was an aberration.

great location inside the la quinta resort and we loved the outdoor seating. the place is usually busy on sunny days and there are lots of folks with their children and pets hanging out and sitting at the nearby fireplace. we ordered drinks and appetizers during our visit, and it was just ok. nothing fancy or spectacular to rave about and the service was decent. i would prefer to go upstairs to adobo where we had a more memorable time-we ate there three times in one week it was that good!

Amazing service! The food is very consistent as well, comes out wonderful. The chicken lollipops are to die for! And if you’re going in just for a cocktail — I suggest the pepino sour or their Bloody Mary! If you want a little snack to share, get the garlic tater-tots! Just the right amount of garlic and crunch that is paired perfectly with their organic ketchup. Literally the best ketchup in the valley. Another great thing about this place, is that they are open a lot later than most places in the valley! This place is definitely a place to be checked out if visiting!

Have Victor in the bar create something fantastic. If you are not feeling up for a surprise, the Bacon Bloody Mary will not disappoint. The eggs benedicts are all wonderful. I’ve never done the brunch which is pricey, but my kids say there is a lot of choice. I live in La Quinta and I love to bring my friends, relatives, and out of town guests here on a Sunday morning. The grounds are beautiful with flowers, water, and live music up top and at Morgans. The La Quinta Resort is a lovely place. The people who go there are pretty happy. During the holidays it’s just good energy. The staff anticipates your needs and you feel well attended. It’s amazing how many of the staff have been there over 20 years. That should tell you something.

Service was disappointing! My husband and I were among 6 other people dining inside the restaurant. It took our server almost 10 minutes to come over and greet us and take our order. I had a tuna melt my husband had the corned beef sandwhich. Both were good. Pickles were sweet, not sour like I hoped. I asked for a virgin strawberry daquri and received a virgin lime blended margarita. It was extremely sour and I was unable to finish it. The oldies music playing was pleasant! Bathrooms smelled like something died. There were 4 employees standing at the host stand when we left including a manager… not one of them acknowledged us and said bye or thanks for coming in. My experience here a year ago was a lot better.
