My friend and I stopped in here for lunch today. When we walked in, we noticed and smelled how smoky it was in the restaurant(you could see a haze of smoke throughout the room). It smelled like the deep fryer had bad, or old oil, in it. It was a little off putting. We were seated under a tv which was on and very loud. I cannot stand sensory overload of tv’s on random stations when I go to a restaurant to meet with a friend. It is different if I know I am going to a sport bar. This is not — so yeah, we asked to be moved to a different table away from the tv. We ordered and the food was tasty and fresh but they were very skimpy on the pork and shrimp(2 pieces of shrimp and about ¼ a cup of pork). I think this place has potential but the smoke, tv, and portions need to be fixed.

We were 1 of 3 tables inside the restaurant on this rainy night, so it was great that Phở 108 served our food almost immediately(even faster than expected really). Nice friendly service, with just the right amount of checking up on you. The food was just OK for my taste. Points for their«small» bowl being that large(so you are definitely getting your money’s worth here!). The broth for their phở was slightly too sweet for my taste(without hoisin sauce) and I think there was something in their spring roll that didn’t agree with me(the rice noodles had a weird texture or consistency). Also their parking outside is pretty tight — the little lot in front and all the side spots were filled up and we were lucky to snag the last spot at the end of the side. But we were walking on an active road in order to make it back to the front. Overall an OK spot to have phở in rainy Lacey. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but not bad for a neighborhood joint.

Saw that this place is newly open so I thought I’d give it a go. I placed an order for pick up and I was extremely pleased. The inside was much larger than I thought considering the location was previously domino’s. I was greeted by what looked like to be the owner and her family enjoying food there as well. I ordered the calamari, fried tofu, 4 egg rolls and the #9 phở(I can’t think of the actual name). The calamari was really good! Mine was soggy because I was running later than I wanted to pick up the food, but i didn’t mind it. The fried tofu was really good too. The egg rolls and phở broth have a hint of sweetness that I couldn’t put my finger on but I enjoyed it. Everyone has their own recipe to make foods and I really enjoyed everything. I can’t wait to come back and try their bun bo hue next! Update: their bun bo hue is REALLYGOOD. You can see a little more fat on top than usual but the broth is super flavorful and they definitely don’t skimp on spice which I like. My go to place for bun bo hue for sure!

It can be hard to stand out as a Phở place in this neck of the woods, I think I counted 5 within two miles of each other. Phở 108 managed to stand out for us. First they had Bön Bo Hue, most places don’t(If you dump a ton of Sriracha in your phở because you like it spicy, try this one, it is supposed to be spicy in the first place.) My wife tried my son’s Phở and regretted not having her own bowl. Service was fast and friendly. They even kept a tablet we left at our table safe and secure overnight.

I go here at least 2 times a week. It’s fresh, healthy, and delicious. The employees are fantastic and the food is always satisfying. I highly recommend it.

I had the beef phở and spring roll. Both tasted average. I probably will come back to try the vermicelli bowl and bubble tea though.

This place is awesome. They are super friendly and everything is so fresh. I love the Grilled sliced pork & fried egg rolls over vermicelli and vegetables.

We drove by this new place a few days ago and decided to stop in and try it today. My husband and I both love phở, so we got two large bowls to go. We got home and I opened everything up to assemble our bowls. I got a pretty standard size portion of the tofu/vegetable, he ordered the #17 shrimp/fish ball/mussel… I was really surprised to only find I mussel, 2 shrimp and 2 fish balls. Such a small portion of protein, it was really disappointing. I even had to pan fry some tofu we had at home just to bulk up the portion and make it satisfying. The broth was ok, but no depth of flavor. Sooo… It just reaffirmed that Phở Saigon 8 is still the best phở place around this area.

Friendly staff and delicious food. Our calamari and pot stickers were fantastic and brought to our table quickly. My phở was a generously proportioned ‘small’. Very tasty. My husband enjoyed his Vietnamese sandwich as well. Definitely will return and recommend.

A new phở location in town is always exciting for me! I always like to be within walking distance of this delicious soup, wherever I go! With a very extensive menu of phở and other Vietnamese cuisine, everyone in the family should find something they enjoy. Though I love a good phở, on my visit I had a lemongrass stir fry with chicken. My boyfriend had a fried rice with a variety of meats, including a Chinese sausage that I’ve never knowingly tried before. It was a very nice blend of flavors. Additionally we had two very well sized spring rolls with peanut sauce. The service was quite speedy and everything met our expectations. The server we had was obviously new to serving, but she worked hard to ensure we had what we needed and was very sweet. My concern for this location is the difficult location and parking situation for this restaurant– virtually in the roundabout on Pacific Ave. on a one way street, with a small parking lot, may make it difficult for some customers. I hope this does not affect their business, because their food is worth trying!

Same owner from Jimmys that was closed and no longer open by Starbucks and lowes in Lacey. Inside you can tell it’s just starting out. Not really put together yet. The menu has lots to chose from. Prices seems reasonable. I ordered bun no hue it was pretty good! Better than at phở 111. Way more broth than noodles. Overall service was good. Everyone seem to enjoy this place as well. Since it was pretty steady.

Awesome place. The phở was good, but the tofu and veggie stir fry is amazing.

No one likes to post negative reviews about a restaurant(especially they just opened), but this place needs a change. I went there about 2 weeks ago, because all other phở restaurant were closed. First of all, their phở soup was absolutely flavorless. I’d give no more than 2stars for their soup. I’ve visited many phở restaurants in the past few years, this is the worst one. Next, their service. Their waitresses were not rude, they were just inexperienced. The waitress took my order wrong, then she try to charge me extra for a(meat to meat) substitution. :(. I would give 3.5 stars for their service.

Just had lunch here. I ordered the calamari appetizer and meatball phở. The calamari appetizer is freaking delicious. Definitely compares to my childhood memories of deliciousness. The phở was good but seemed like it had too much fish sauce. Everyone was pleasant while I visited. And for the guy who said that the girl didn’t really know the menu, dude. If they hired someone new and we’re just getting started out, not everyone is going to immediately know the full menu. Have you cleaned the bathrooms at your workplace? Then maybe you don’t know how the janitors feel. Anyhow, the food is delicious, the décor really doesn’t seem any different then every other small restaurant in Lacey. I mean, seriously, are you expecting a brand new business to spend 15% of opening funds on art? That comes over time and if you’ve ever been to Chinatown in Seattle or even actually been to Asia like I have, you’d know that most restaurants are more worried about taste and menu then putting up a pretty picture. Comparable to Seattle phở restaurants, which is saying a LOT in comparison of the other restaurants in Lacey. Comparable to Vietnam? Meh. Kinda. Not really. Since phở isn’t really a «restaurant» type of meal in Vietnam, it’s pretty darn good. Don’t listen to these wanna be foodie critics who think they know everything about Asian food. Take advice from the ever critical Asian mom writing this post. They’re pretty good.

I would rate this place as a solid 4.5. So I give it a 5, and yes this is as good as it gets. I’ve been to many phở places here in the Puget sound area. So I’ve had my share of ok to the best. I know this place just opened up and I understand that some of the workers here are new to the business, but you have to give them a chance to establish themselves before criticizing about their knowledge of a menu item or customer service. Enough of that, back to PHO, the menu had a very good variety of phở and the soup is as good as others in the area, the bean sprouts, Thai basil and lime wedges came out very fresh and a good portion. Their spring rolls are bigger than others that I’ve had and tasted just as good. The restaurant looks very clean. There is an area in the back section that looks a bit unfinished, but it still looks clean. Staff was polite and courteous. After I had paid and was ready to walk out, the owners asked how the meal was so I gave them my opinions on what was good and what needed some improvement and they were pleased to here them. My recommendation is to give this a try, you won’t be disappointed. Just look at my other reviews of phở restaurants. I’ve been here twice already and will make many future trips back.

Phở here was excellent. Broth was not overly-salty or fatty, noodles cooked perfectly, freshest vegetables. My wife loved her salad. Still working on the décor, but that not what’s important to me when looking for good phở. We will be back soon! If it’s this good next time and they finish the décor(today is there opening day), I’ll give them 5 stars.

I believe Phở 108 just opened today in the old Domino’s pizza location on Pacific. The dining area of the restaurant is in the old Indoor Gardening suite. It is nice to have a phở place basically down the street from my house. There aren’t any shortage of phở places in Lacey by any means but this is convenient. My go to is Phở Vy and I wasn’t sure if this place would live up to the high expectation I have after eating at Phở Vy for the longest time. I will say that the menu is simple to read and is basically a two sided card. I got tofu phở and spring rolls. The spring rolls were an appetizer but came with the meal which defeats the word appetizer. I will say though that phở doesn’t take that long to put together so it would have been a quick appetizer anyway. The phở came with the usual accompaniments(jalapenos, bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime wedges). The red chili paste is in the same color squirt bottle as the sriracha so watch out for that. The spring rolls were piping hot and were the typical finger-sized rolls we’re all accustomed to(see the pictures). Now for the phở, the broth smelled great and was dark and rich. I tasted like it had a hint of a licorice or some sort of sweeter herb in there or it may have just been a typical Thai herb packet but the broth was pretty good. I found it similar to my trusty Phở Vy, which was a positive. The tofu was not crispy by any means and although the menu says pan-fried, it’s the kind you can by at Uwajimaya or other Asian grocer that is pre-cooked and just tossed in one the phở is ready. That was a little disappointing. The noodles were also a bit softer than I’m used to and there weren’t many vegetables other than broccoli and carrots, but still very good. I only paid $ 11 for a small phở and 4 spring rolls which is pretty reasonable. They also serve bubble tea but I didn’t even thai tea or coffee on the menu. Maybe they’re updating the menu. I also had to ask for napkins as there aren’t any on the tables. I attribute that to just opening jitters. Plus it still looks like they are constructing as there are tables that haven’t been placed yet and there is nothing on the walls except paint. So no ambience and still a work in progress. Also, I’m not sure if it was because I had a long sleeved shirt on or because I was eating hot soup, but there aren’t any fans and the air conditioner appeared to be set on it’s lowest setting. So it was a little uncomfortable. I also didn’t notice until I was sitting in the parking lot that they have free Wi-Fi if you ask for the password inside. If you’re familiar with the old Domino’s you’ll understand this, but there isn’t a lot of parking and the parking lot is slightly hard to come in to if you’re coming off Pacific. Overall though, I will be back as the people are nice & I actually did like the phở but may ask to not have tofu next time.
