What a scam!!! I just paid them $ 100 for a tanning package. I return a week later, and the entire place is gutted: no desk, no beds, no signage, nothing. There’s no note on the door to say where they went. So hey, thanks for taking all my money and scamming me out of that. Clearly your crappy business needed it more than I did.

I used to go to Desert Sun but was absolutely tired of their pushiness and that their employees have flat out lied to me before, so I decided to try a new place. It was reasonably priced, I was showed the rooms, at the time, it looks like they were repainting, so I thought it would be a little more updated, but I thought wrong. Before I say all of the cons, I will say the pros. The first one is that I the staff. They’re friendly, super helpful, and not overly pushy-which I really appreciate. I probably buy more from them because they’re not over the top. The second one is that I never have to wait for a bed and it is super easy to upgrade. Lastly they include wipes for you to wipe down with after you tan(no extra cost), which is great and one of a kind for around here. I have about a week left on my unlimited tanning package and I am not going to renew or go back afterwards. There are a of couple things that are deal breakers for me. It is impossible to talk to management or the owner about any issues. The majority of the bulbs in the beds are either out or on their way out, I feel like I’m not getting what I’m paying for. I won’t use certain beds because of it, even their best of beds have bulbs out. The second reason is that they aren’t super up to date. There’s evidence that they have painted, but they have not finished nor cleaned up the job since the month I’ve been in. There’s still painters tape etc, around some edges. It’s unfinished and unprofessional looking. The last, and final thing is actually breaking WA law. According to Chaper 19.240RCW specifically, 19.240.020, it is against law to either depreciate value of a gift card or make them expire(ie, anything you buy for value such as a gift card, gift certificate, minutes and whatnot). According the TIni Bikini, after 6 months from purchase, the tans and minutes you buy expire. This is not right and 6 months is not very long. There are many reasons why you would not use up your minutes/tans in 6 months and it is not right for them to expire.

Been tanning here over a year, and Ashley and all the other girls here are just awesome! I feel bad for them since they don’t really have a huge reception area, but whenever I come into tan, they’re always smiling and just happy to be there! I like going to tanning places where the girls in there are actually TAN, as well. I love this place, not the best parking location, nor the best look, however it’s the people who work here that keeps me coming back. They favor members, so join their member club and get all the discounts!

The sales staff is friendly and pleasant but the place is filthy. Bed 9 has a burned out bulb and tans unevenly. Bed 4 also tans unevenly. The stand up booth has 3burned out bulbs but at least you can turn around so you can keep it even. The place needs some serious cleaning and replacement tanning bulbs instead of fancy pendant lights! Would not recommend!

Great prices, but oh man is this place dirty. I had already bought a month unlimited before I realized that every room was disgusting. There is dust on the floors around the beds that looks like it’s been piling up for years. There are bulbs out in most beds, so be prepared for stripes. In the first bed on the right the facial bulbs are out. The first one on the left, i felt like i had shingles after i got finished. There was some sort of pill in the same room on the floor for days. I literally wiped the bed down with hand sanitizer and paper towels before I got in. I thought of offering to clean the place for a thousand bucks… lol.

Been tanning here a few months after moving over from Desert Sun after a slip — up there of not being allowed to tan because their system was down. Point being I needed to find a new place because DS was dead to me after that. And so, very close to home is Tini Bikini. Let me assure you, it’s not the polished trendy Desert Sun by any stretch of the imagination, but it does get the job done and the girls at the front are very nice and very knowledgeable about tanning and lotions. I don’t even tell them my name when I go in at this point so I feel like a valued customer. Both a blessing and a curse is that the place can get really hot at times. When I’m freezing cold it’s wonderful to walk in there and get warm finally, but during the warm months, I hesitate to go tanning because it’s so hot in there. All in all, this is a nice little local tanning shop that’s an alternative to the big chain.
