Bruegger’s Bagels

Sorry to say most Mondays when I go there, they are out of salt bagels.

really great place. the people all who work here are really nice.

I normally do customer sandwiches of what ever im feeling that morning anything from a Bagel BLT. to a Chipotle Turkey with a Nader twist. an the people who make it are always very nice an patient with me. which im sure sometimes can be a bit annoying. I much appreciate it!

when you walk in a big fancy humongous TV to your left. typically playing CNN or some sort of informative TV station. to the right is the drink area. always clean an tidy an they have water cups right there so you don’t have to ask.
walking ahead the right wall is lined with 4 person booths again always clean never like crazy messy.
the line starts in front of those booths an sometimes the line is real long.
this is where the staff really shine. when the line is long. you never or at least i never have an i’m pretty observant. you never see the employees lolly gagging. they are always busting there butt working on that bagel in front of them doing the best they can do then onto the next person in line. each employee gets there work area an hunkers down an starts knockin out sandwiches bagels whatever the customer says. an they always seem to do it with a smile which is pretty cool from a customer standpoint.
then there is one person at the register hardparked getting the orders from the makers an ringing up the totals. an closing the checks out. it really I have to say runs like a well oiled machine. no complaints they always have an array of bagels to choose from. I normally just get an everything bagel. its always a smooth process .

My family and I are regular customers to this location. Really good bagels in fact one of the best I have tried even back in NY. Prices are high but it’s not like they are a less expensive at Starbucks. Their coffee is also superior to many competitors. The only thing I notice is that that ladies are a lot friendlier than the guys. 5 stars to the ladies and 1.5 stars to the guys.

This place is good. Love how they cover there everything bagels in seeds on both sides! They have the best creamcheese and very tasty fresh bagels

Great food, horrible customer service. Attendants taking orders are always in pissy attitudes. They act as they are doing you a favor. I often overlooked look it but I rather go some place friendlier.

Absolutely love coming here to get a quick bite for lunch, or to study with friends, or to spend a nice morning with my family. Such great bagels! During the fall I highly recommend the pumpkin bagel + pumpkin cream cheese. AMAZING. Their bagel sandwiches are also delicious. Try asking for skinny cut, much less bread but still get that amazing taste. Only complaint I have is that there is one man who works there who is consistently rude and was extremely sassy especially on one recent visit; however, Brian is one who is always kind and helpful with a smile on his face! Overall this place is one of my favorites :)

Another local favorite. Wherever you are in Ladera you could pretty much walk to this location. Fav thing to do on a weekend? Walk to this place, get a bagel and go next door to Starbucks and get a latte.
Fav bagel: toasted hallowed out Olive Oil Rosemary bagel with light cream cheese and sundried tomato spread. Soooooo Delish!!! I get this almost every time I’m here. The bagel is so flavorful and has a soft crunch. Love it!!!
Always busy but line moves fast. Staff are friendly as well. Little tip? Wednesday is dozen bagel day for only $ 6.99! Awesome!

When you live in LA you have good bagel places all over… So why does my extended LA family reach out to me for bagels when I’m visiting from South County??? Because Brueggers are better than anything they can get — Bagel Broker, Manhattan, Bagel Nosh, Western Bagel — none of them compare. This is a really great bagel with just the right amount of chew that toasts-​up beautifully. They have a ton of great flavors and great sandwiches. Best bagel this side of New York! The staff is friendly and courteous and the place is generally clean. Go on Wednesday when a dozen is only $ 6.99 and fill up the freezer. Excellent cream cheese selection, too.

The service is great at this location. The line can get long, but the wait is not ~ they have it down to a science (unlike most places). This location could be the model for any carryout style restaurant.

Customer service is average if that. Not very warm or welcoming. Not attentive at all. Person who took my order made me one thing and the guy at the register rang me up for something more expensive. Really? And after that bagel is just so so. Isn’t this supposed to be a place that specializes in bagels?

Not only are the bagels delicious and amazing, the people who work their are always so welcoming! I recommend this to everyone! A must try…

I don’t usually write negative views of businesses however I would not come here unless I absolutely had to consistently overpriced rude staff and lack of a quality product.
I had to pick up bagels for my class that I teach and they literally stuffed the bagels and gave me attitude while The whole time I’m wondering Do these people realize how detrimental this poor service can negatively impact their business !!!
Truly a good reminder for me as a business professional as well how important it is that high-​quality people working to represent your brand at any point.

I am always so disappointed by bagel places. Seriously, they need to be better than the Sara Lee bagels I can get at the grocery store, which are darn good (don’t judge unless you’ve had the Sara Lee…). Anyway, this place finally makes paying extra for a bagel make sense. They are delicious! I just moved to Ladera a couple weeks ago and have already been here several times. Also, their turkey panini with cranberry relish, pickled onions, etc. is also top-​notch!

BEST BAGEL PLACE EVER! Super quick service and amazing bagels. They have many options of high quality bagels and sandwiches. I definitely recommend this place.

Forget I Love Bagels. Brueggers is way better. The prices are the same as most bagel joints. This place is close to a lot of my doctors offices. When Im in a hurry for a morning appointment they get me in and out very quickly with a nice bagel to chow down on before my appointment. They have tons of options of bagels and whatever you could possibly want on your bagel. I just like the fact that when I want a bagel and cream cheese im in and out of the door in 2 minutes!

This place is ok I suppose. They need a better variety. I only eat here once a year, sometimes the bagels are hard and not fresh.

Everything is fresh and delicious. The customer service is also top notch.
Sea salt and caramel ice coffee with whatever bagel sandwich I get is very tasty.
Highly recommended!

These bagels are on the tougher side so it’s not for people that like super soft bagels. Personally I love them! I think their bagel sandwiches are a bit overpriced for what you get, but they’re still pretty good. Here’s a bagel sandwich I like getting made:
Plain bagel
Chive and onion cream cheese
Cheddar cheese (it’s thick cut!)
Tomatoes
Red onion (beware onion breath)
All toasted together! So good, and so satisfying!
The day old bagel bags are awesome to grab for inexpensive weekday lunches. And their cream cheeses are great too– we always get a tub of honey walnut, and we get light plain cream cheese, as opposed to the regular, which is still creamy and delicious.
This place is great for quick breakfasts or lunches. They have a great staff who hook it up with cream cheese. Yum!

What’s more lovely then waking up in the morning and walking in a store full of bagel smell? Bruegger’s has such a large selection of freshly baked bagels it’s ridiculous. I’m talking pretzel, jalapeño cheese, plain, honey walnut, cinnamon sugar, and olives. You name it, they probably got some mad science creation of a bagel there. It’s AWESOME!
Get it plain, get it with cream cheese, or make it into a sandwich. Bruegger’s can do it all and I love how fast & cheap they do it.

Bagels for breakfast suits me much better than fast food when I’m on the road because it’s quick and easy.
Lots of parking as it’s in a grocery store plaza — so park, walk in, get in line, order, pay and you’re outta there. You can have a seat and eat as there’s limited seating as well as a beverage machine for refills.
A wide variety of bagels, which can be prepared to your liking, toasted or not as well. A few other tidbits but not much more as it’s a bagel shop.
