IHOP

One of the worst restaurant experiences yet! Let me premise this by saying the only reason I stopped in was because I had a gift certificate. When I walked in several servers were loitering at the front. The hostess never greeted me she only went back and forth with the gaggle of lazy servers of who should get my table. The hostest then ordered me to follow her. Not requested with some politeness, she ordered me. We were greeted almost immediately by a server. She was the only adequate part of this experience. Nothing phenomenal. Just good enough. Basically what you expect from a corporate restaurant. My real issue stems from what was occurring in the kitchen as I sat and waited for my good. Lovely Christmas music was playing softly in the background. Silver bells to be exact. One of the female staff members was singing her own rendition in the kitchen. «silver balls, suck my balls.» Cute, right? Not so much. My three year old and six year old overheard the beautiful adaptation to the song and even made comments about it. I have a feeling that will be repeated at least once this holiday season. Once we got our food I was quickly reminded of why I don’t eat IHOP. It’s ok but that’s it. Corporate garbage that no one takes pride in. The staff is immature to say the least. Pretty shocking when it appears that most of them are at least in their 40’s. The manager didn’t give us the time of day. Just wandered around with a sour look on her face. She even had an opportunity to survey me at the end when I was paying for my meal. She didn’t even smile at me. She just ignored me. Pretty horrendous experience. Next time I get a gift certificate I won’t be going back. Maybe I’ll find someone who is less fortunate and hungry and give it to them.

Went to iHop for a later breakfast today and I understand the reviews I’ve read. Our server was great even though the computers were down. We ordered the 2×2×2 and the chicken and waffles. Out food came out in a timely manner and everything was Luke warm except our pancakes and waffles! Our butter didn’t melt a bit. We didn’t have time to ask for them to be warmed or for another order, but I thought it strange that the thing their known for (pancakes) came out literally cold! I’ve had this problem multiple times at different locations.

I loved my experience here. Daysi was my server and she made my experience wonderful, made sure I had everything I needed and my food was great. Will definitely be back thanks to the lovely service and great food! Would recommend, ask for Daysi!

I went on the fourth of July and everything about my experience was wonderful. My waitress Annie did an impeccable job. The food was hot, and the restaurant was clean. I will definitely be returning and recommending this particular IHOP. Five stars!

This doesn’t deserve a star. Third time I have given it a shot. 45 – 60 minute wait on food when there is only maybe 25 people in the establishment. Each time the food was lukewarm. Will not be coming back, ever. Would not recommend.

Not sure of why people have so much negativity towards this place. Food is always good. The service is always wonderful staff is pleasant. Wait times are on the excessive side I agree. However, this is a family restaurant. Leave your worries and electronics at home. Step in and enjoy quality time with the ones you have. I feel society has a way of rushing thru life and therefore ruining reviews :) the friendliness and quality of food is excellent. If youre in a hurry skip it but dont hate them because they give you time to socialize. Food still comes out hot and yummy!

The service here sucks, go to a different one. We were seated before five other tables had drink orders taken and received before we were ever greeted. By the time our drinks came out the other tables were receiving their food.

Horrible doesn’t even begin to describe my experience here. We waited a full hour before we got our food and only got one drink refill after that hour. Upon receiving the food, my girlfriend found a hair in it. We completely lost our appetite and requested a manager. He took his sweet time and did even dress professionally. He showed a lack in caring about this business. Also, a waitress was wearing stopper clothes without any sign of IHOP identification.

I thought about a three star, but as we sat, and sat, and sat, and waited for our check, I couldn’t do that anymore.
The server was extremely polite when we saw her, but after I ordered the half sandwich, bacon and white cheddar melt with hash browns, my friend ordered next, and the server turned back to me to ask what I wanted as a side with my sandwich, I knew I was doomed! I proceed to receive, and be charged for a whole sandwich, as I suspected would happen.
I’m guessing it was provolone cheese that I got but b/​c it was so over cooked I couldn’t tell. Dry, dry, dry. I ate about six bites. This sandwich really needs american cheese and the fire roasted tomato sauce as advertised to add some moisture. My friend liked her pancakes, which is what I should have gone with at the IHOP, but I prefer a savory breakfast, not sweet. :)

Server: Jacob [For being so busy he did outstanding. Took our pic for us, offered to even go above and beyond on several things. Has my ordered cooked exactly like I asked (1^st time ever) he also was very sweet & funny]
He mixed 2 drinks for us both different & specific & perfect! (Caramel cocoa, mocha chocolate).
I’ve had good service every time I’ve come to this ihop.
The cheesecake pancakes were a little dry but overall the meal was great. (Breakfast sampler). If you don’t know what to get but know you want breakfast this is a great way to get a little bit of everything.
Conclusion: good service, good food, great hot drinks, good prices!

If you want to visit this ihop make sure you have time to spare. Every time I’ve been here its been an almost 2 hour experience between the wait for a table and the incredibly long wait for food. I wish I could say its because I go on Sunday after church but I don’t, the service is just SLOW.

I have been to this Ihop 2 times and both service and food have been great.

Worst service ever, took almost 14min to even get a glass of water. Wasn’t even super busy. I do not recommend here. Food was warm, tasted like it was under a hot lamp for quite some time.
