Jack In The Box

Poor food and service. Jack is better at selling its products than at delivering a good product. I am disappointed every time I come to this location. I agree with comments by Aimee and Jen G. Food is always disappointing. Errors on orders is the norm. Food is often stale and dry, like it has been waiting for your order for hours.
People taking orders in drive through are almost always unintelligible, and order screen never works. They are most often unintelligible because they have a strong foreign accent, and speak too fast. God bless them, I think they think they can be understood. Some training and awareness here would be a solution.
Overall, almost always a disappointing experience.
Good luck JITB, I will not be back.

Tired of having to call them because my order is wrong.
Three times now.
What part of, «NO Egg» don’t you understand?
Gloria the AM manager is rude/​argumentative and refuses to admit her employees can’t follow simple instructions.
There English is broken and trying to explain anything is damn near impossible!
NO need to bring it to my attention that I’ve now made 3 complaints, just get my damn order right for a change.

Very bad location! I have never written a review for a fast food restaurant. Mostly because i don’t eat fast food anymore but also because fast food is fast food it mostly tastes the same, right? WRONG! I used to get the Ultimate Cheeseburger all the time when I was younger and I thought it was the best fast food burger. It was covered in cheese with a soft bun. So my husband and I decided we wanted fast food for the first time in about 9 months. We decided on Jack in the Box because I do love the Ultimate Cheeseburger. He got the Buttery Swiss and Bacon Burger and I got the Ultimate Cheeseburger. They were awful. So bad! They even looked bad. The edges of the patty’s were dry and looked like they were under a heating lamp for a long time! We tried them and the first thing I said was, «this doesn’t taste like any Ultimate Cheeseburgers I have EVER had! It was covered in mustard and I could barely taste the mayo. And it was NOT that cheesy. My husbands patty was dry all the way through. We would never come back to this place again. Sorry Jack, you failed! Oh my husband said the Oreo Cookie shake was good.

Yes, it’s fast food but sometimes I’m in a hurry on the way too work and I have to get something fast – usually a breakfast sandwich or biscuit. I am always amazed at how FRIENDLY the employees are! They seriously go out of their way to be kind. I can drive up in a stressed or bad mood, and then they shower me with friendliness and excellent service, and my mood has completely turned around. Never have seen so many apparently happy employees. Somebody’s doing something right here.

Horrible service screen doesn’t work for when you order. They have A underage kid working there named Jerry that kept messing up my order twice. Then once I got my order I had to come back and get it fixed again do not come here worst fast food I’ve ever had!!!

I went to jack in the box because I was too lazy to cook. Of course you cant expect a lot from fast food places, but I expect it to not be burnt. They also said the milkshake was made with real ice cream. A huge disappointment. Paid $ 10 for a meal only worth $ 3.

as with some Jack’s, the order counter is just inside the door. Tracey A. questioned whether i’ve tried the jalepenos poppers. now i have
eats: stuffed jalepenos (3/2.09).
–cashier offered free water when i didn’t order a drink
–heavy breading, fried
–jalepenos couldn’t be bitten off, whole jale came out of «shell»
just a burst of hotness and cheese (almost messy).
not worth it. eating fresh jalepenos probably hotter
2 stars. 3.5 stars for service.

I was using their bathroom and 2 people walked in on me due to their lock not working correctly. It would push in like it was locked but people could still open it from the outside. I’ve had this happen at another jack in the box as well.
I went to the counter and asked if they were aware of the issue, they were. Yet there was no sign on the door or anything! The lady I spoke with didnt seem to concerned about it. In my opinion its a serious privacy issue. 2 people walking in while im half naked sitting in the toilet isnt okay.
I was going to buy breakfast here but was so irritated I decided to go somewhere else, so I cant vouch for food quality in my rating but this is mostly about my bad experience.

This review is solely for this location… It is the worst Jack in the Box to go to. Rude employees and orders and constantly wrong. Just can’t believe how little they care there.

I have been to a good number of JITB locations in California, Washington, and points east. The Mt Diablo location in Lafayette is on my «A» list The dining area and counter are clean and the staff is enthusiastic. The managers here are customer-​focused and very friendly. One of my pet peeves is getting «Joe Pesci’d» at the drive-​thru (look it up on Urban Dictionary dot com if you are unfamiliar with the reference) so I appreciate the staff making sure that my order is correct. The day and night shift crews are equally sharp and conscientious here unlike a few JITB locations that I’ve visited over the past few years.

Good service, good food. Was once given a free cup of lemonade while waiting on a hot day.

Definitely one of the best jack in the boxes Ive ever been to the food was really good, and the manager, after reading someone else’s review i think is Yolanda, one of the nicest fast food managers I have ever met. I came in here with my work one day, and theres always about 12 of us when I do, although this didn’t concern the workers here she gave most of us strawberry lemonade’s which was really good, and had our food out really quick and the food was delicious, in most fast food places we stop while I’m at work, there bound to get at least one persons food wrong out of the 10 or so that decided to eat here but not at this jack the food was excellent and i cannot wait to go back here next time were in the area.

Ever since I saw the commercial for the grilled pastrami sandwich, I’ve been dying to have one, I’ve had 3 so far, well, now 4. This has to be the cleanest, friendliest fast food chain I have ever been to. Yolanda took my order and she was so nice. She offered me a small strawberry lemonade to drink while my order was made. By the way, the sandwich is really good! I’ll be back!

When I hit the drive thru and placed my order, I made the horrible mistake of looking up at the dumpster (it was dark and my headlights were on!) as I drove toward the pick up window: rats. And I do mean that in the plural. About three of them were swarming around and when I told the cashier, she said something about it back to the cooks and they made squeaky rat sounds and laughed. I AM NOT KIDDING. I can actually laugh about it now but since it is a franchise, the HQ couldn’t help me.
They might have a good sense of humor at this location, but the rats cancel that out.

i rarely eat fast food much these days but i gotta give 4 stars to jack in the box for this lafayette location. sure it’s lafayette so it’s one of the cleanest franchises and fast. and now that jack in the box serves breakfast all day i can always get my favorite breakfast sandwich ever, the supreme croissant. this is so darn scrumptious and one of the least fatty items on the menu believe it or not. it’s ham cheese bacon and a fried egg in between 2 croissant halves. you have to ask for sauce if you want the mayo that was commonly served standard. trust me this is a very tasty breakfast sandwich.
you gotta try this jack in the box location because where else can you get snobbish attitude from someone who doesn’t even speak very good english. :)
