Servers could care less about the customers, I sat on the patio with two servers walking past for 20 minutes and not that busy. Won’t go back, talked with manger not much better with manger.

We never expected to have such a great meal! Voodo Shrimp and Shrimp Pasta were outstanding. Good service and excellent food — we would be regulars if we lived here.

In town to watch the Cajuns play Texas State and decided to have a pre-tailgate meal with 2 other family members. Not a bad place at all to hang out and watch sports on the multitude of screens they have at the restaurant! The waitress was nice and service was timely. The food is average with a Cajun twist attempted. Price is just a couple dollars off the expected price point for this type of food. What really needs to happen is for all the tailgate cooks from the pregame need to spend their time in this kitchen with their secret seasonings and then it would get 5 stars. Since it was my first visit there, I will try it again to see if the flavor of the food improves.

Limited selection of food. Brought some out of towners and they enjoyed it but it’s a little on the pricey side and it’s lots of seafood so it’s not for everyone. The boudin balls are pretty good and hot! I got the burger with an egg but the egg was WAY too runny! Not something to eat on a date! But the burger was big so that was good. I’ve also gone and gotten the catfish with the étouffée on top! You get a lot! Overall, a classy and clean place to eat, just don’t expect a big group to all find something they’d want to eat.

Seven months later and walkons said they would work with me personally. No call no apologize no nothing. It’s almost impossible to talk to there insurance company. Walk ons is a horrible company that if you chip your tooth at there restaurant eating there sucky food. they say they will take care of it but never do. There’s way better restaurants with great owners in lafayette that will take care of there customers and their staffs mistakes

Sports bar. The waitresses wear miniskirt dresses and have really healthy-looking legs. There are Cajun specialties on the menu, but judging from my blackened catfish with crawfish étouffée, this is not the place to get them. Not very well cooked catfish, crunchy breaded crawfish.

Great pub flare with a Cajun twist. Plenty of big screen tvs to watch sports. Great for the kiddos too. The tuna is great. Crab boil is a very good soup.

Great sports bar style food all in all, with a solid sports bar environment, friendly waitresses, always VERY packed though, so anticipate a crowd and get in a little early if you don’t want to wait. If it’s game day, you’ll never be seated if you didn’t get there before Saints kick off

Horrible service waited 30 mins for a salad while the people sitting next to me got their hot food in 10. Better option in the area: Happy’s and Tap Room

Great scenery for starters… 2 for 1 drinks($ 2/pint) and a great atmosphere definitely make me want to go back. Our group got the fried pickles and cheesy waffle fry appetizers and both were great. I got the fried buffalo chicken burger, which was also good. I was the only newbie the night my group went, but everyone enjoyed their food. Great selection of beer, but the 2 for 1 only applies to domestics. Prices were fine as far as Lafayette goes and the portions were huge. Great selection as well, for a «bar» themed restaurant. Burgers, hotdogs, steaks, and crawfish etoufee are all on the menu. Will definitely be going back.

Over priced under poured drinks, food is ok… definitely not the best! The gator was extremely greasy… So many young staff members standing around eating doing nothing but laughing and hanging out. Nice scenery but not impressed

Food was ok. I had a burger and it was over cooked. My wife loved her meal. Waitress was great. A bit load. But depends on what kind of places you like to eat at. Probably won’t be going back.

The atmosphere is great here. They have a ton of tv’s all over the place which is good for me so I can come watch my team without bothering too many people. The food is also really good. Had the cheese logs which are like mozzarella sticks except bigger. They were fantastic! I also had the classic burger with steamed broccoli. One of the best burgers I’ve had so far and to be honest I usually enjoy fries with my burger but their broccoli is pretty damn good. The staff is also very friendly and I haven’t had a problem so far. I’ll be a regular for sure!

There are two listings for this place. Not sure which one to review? Anyway, I come here often when work brings me to the area. I like this place. Maybe a bit to chain like and cookie cutter, but still very enjoyable. I have never been to a Walk-On’s before. Though I have seen them around Louisiana, and I never thought they would have a good beer selection until I walked in one day. For Lafayette, this place probably has the most taps in town. There is a large dinning area and a horseshoe shaped bar. A couple of outdoor seating areas. One area is a continuation of the bar, the other is another dinning area. Plenty of TV’s turned to sports. Though the volume is low and the TV’s do not interfere if you chose not to watch. The bartenders and waitresses work hard, but they don’t have a ton of knowledge on the menu or beers. Lots of Cajun and seafood items as one would expect. The menu ranges from pub grub like burgers and wings to étouffée. I have had the crab bisque(excellent) and some stuffed shrimp and oysters which was very good as well. Everything is in huge portions. On to the beer! Around 40 or so taps with lots with a mix of locals and plenty of macro lager crap. I hate that they always try to sell me a Bud Light when I first walk in, but whatever. Tons of Abita which is to be expected. Three taps for NOLA brewing, and one of the only places outside of New Orleans I have seen that carries the brewery. Which is a huge plus. Some local Parish and Bayou Teche offerings, but I have never really been a fan of those breweries. Several options from Lazy Magnolia as well. I saw some Stone, Anchor, and Sierra Nevada on tap as well. Overall this is a nice place to grab a beer. If a bit cookie cutter. Plenty of options and good food as well. Along with the Green Room, this is the best place in Lafayette to get a beer. I can’t give it a 4 cause it is not the top notch beer bar I want it to be, but pretty close.

I’ve been here a couple times, and it seem like it improved a lot, since its been opened(probably because they had an overload of customers when just opened). In a nice, brand new spanking building, nice décor and nice staff. The food quality varies depending on what you ordered, I ordered the following items: — Boudin Balls, which was good, it was served with some sort of sauce which tasted like creamy horseradish remoulade(I’m assuming), but which complimented the boudin balls — Spanish and Artichoke Dip, was decent, I felt like their pita chips were too over cooked, and hard — Cheese Waffles, delicious waffle cheese fries with variety of cheeses, with bacon and banana peppers, yum. — Cajundillas, this was probably the worst thing I ordered here, who put’s cajun rice in a quesadilla? They do, but they shouldn’t. — Crazy Chicken Pasta, grilled chicken breast over a bed of pasta, good, but somewhat under seasoned — Grilled Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, this is probably the best thing I ate their yet, delicious jumbo bacon wrapped shrimp, sauced with bbq sauce, boy o boy is this delicious — The Big Jack, it’s huge. I had to cut this burger into four, to be able to eat this burger without looking like an insane carnivore. Its quite delicious, but hard to eat, since it gets messy. Overall, this is not a bad place to eat, and a big plus is that on Saturdays their kitchen opens until 12, and bar closes at 2!(I’m not sure about other days) Many restaurants with real food, other than wings and burgers, that I noticed in Lafayette closes at 11 on weekends. So if you’re in dire need of a late night eating, this is the place to go, and grab a drink here to get your weekend night started!

The new location of Walk-On’s has left the safety net of the Red Stick and decided to try it’s hand at feeding the folks of the Hub City. The location is prime and attracts alot of late nighters. I would say that they really need to get a better parking situation. The parking does not accommodate the volume of people that visit. The food was outstanding. We got boudin balls, mozz sticks and fried pickles. Finished off the night with a burger and many pints of NOLA brew… which is always good. I would have to say the food was better prepared than the two locations in BR. Not sure if it is because it is brand new or because of the management. Regardless, my friends and I enjoyed ourselves to the fullest.
