Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Rented a car they upgraded us to a Ford Focus .
Returned car the following the morning due to unsafe shaking.
When returned the agent was aware of condition She said since they converted these cars from manual to automatic and didn’t convert the transmission on conversion
She also said her friend had the same car but when she drove this car she was very disappointed
My wife used the car to drive 4 children and felt very unsafe.
This car should not be rented to anyone as agents are aware of shaking and they also presented it as an upgrade.

Awesome location and service! I was visiting family in Laguna beach and decided to take a road trip to San Diego. I booked a vehicle online a week ahead and got an awesome rate. $ 30 a day for a luxury vehicle. I called Enterprise in Laguna 15 minutes before we were ready to leave and Trevor came and picked us up in the car that we were renting. Trevor was so nice and helpful. We really could tell that he wanted us to feel comfortable before we started our road trip. Trevor was patient and explained all that enterprise had to offer as well as carefully and thoroughly went over the condition of the car. Besides for a few scratches on the body, the car was in great shape and very clean on the inside. Returning the car was a breeze! I will definitely rent from this place again and hope more employees can be as awesome as Trevor was!

Horrible place. Do not rent. First I reserved online and got a price that was great deal $ 209. Arrived at Laguna beach enterprise and they said $ 259. Then they gave me a dirty car on inside and outside. I saw scratches on bumper and they said that’s normal — luckily I took a picture and had proof damages were there before. Advise: always write in comment and take pictures.
Then they gave discount first time 2.15. Then after all the hassle the manager said 2.80. They are all trying to rip off the customer. Will never rent from here again. Got receipts to prove! Anyone can write me and I’ll show you. Good luck!

Spencer and the staff here is very rude to customers. I would find another location to rent from.
The car choices are poor too. There are several other companies that will appreciate your business and threat you with professional courtesy.

Great service! I haven’t rented a car from them yet, but when I can, I definitely want to rent from them. They have some sweet rides. People working there are really nice, fast and helpful. Their deals are really good. Surprisingly, going from an economy to a compact car rental only cost $ 1 more.
Good value from a great company. Can’t wait to rent from them.

As with any franchised business, there is a lot of staffing turn-​over, but the staff at this location have been consistently wonderful!
After an accident, the other driver’s insurance arranged my rental through Enterprise in Laguna. I’ve rented from Enterprise several times before, and everyone has been great to deal with. It’s a small, high-​volume location and each time I was treated with courtesy and kindness. This recent rental experience was no different. Brandon was great to deal with, as was Spencer at the Newport Beach location. The two women at Laguna were deeply apologetic that a car was not readily available for me, and offered to make things right for me. I didn’t get their names, but they were terrific as well.
As always, a great rental experience in such a busy, small store. High turn-​over is to be expected, but everyone I have dealt with over the years has been excellent. Great work, Enterprise! :)

I am very disappointed with this particular Enterprise. First off they have changed the staff so much. In the 4 years there is not one same consistent staffer there. Which leads to the second issue, non-​relational, in personal care. When there is such turnover or moving around to different enterprises in OC, this perpetuates the lack of relations with your customers in the surrounding community.
My last rental experience was nightmarish. I wish they would keep at least one consistent person at that site for the sake of them getting to know their customers who rent consistently.
I am now looking for another car rental place and will no longer recommend Enterprise to my fellow community dwellers,

I’ve been using Enterprise for at least 5 years as my sole rental company. Boy was I surprised when they tacked on a $ 5 gas charge after I had filled the tank to the point indicated on the contract even after I pointed this out. So $ 5 is not a big deal – but it is an indicator of how they regard the customer.

They are open 8 – 5, M-​F, but when i arranged to pick up a car within an hour, and arrived at 1:30pm, no one was there. I waited for 35 min before 2 workers showed up, looks like they had left for lunch, and locked up the office while they were out. I expect businesses to honor their hours.

One of the girls (Shellie) was very nice and kind, the other woman who work there was a little aggressive in my opinion. Almost smooth transaction. the driver who picked me up was very kind too.

I’ve found myself in the position of needing to rent a car to drive back and forth from San Francisco and have had nothing but great experiences with the folks and cars here. They’re friendly and professional and are always willing to cart me back and forth from my mom’s house. Even though this is a service provided by Enterprise, in the past with other locations I’ve felt like it’s a hassle for them. I found them by accident when a car I rented in SF had a blow out on the way down and the phone the national service people suggested I buy my own replacement and get reimbursed through Enterprise later! Not overly wild about the idea, I drove it to the Laguna Canyon location and the manager switched it out for me while they had the tire replaced for me. If you’re lucky enough to be there when the taco truck is out front, you can get some decent carne asasa at the same time!
