I’ve been to this place a few times and I’ve always enjoyed the environment as well as the creative yet traditional menu. The patio has a great view of the water, it’s also easily accessible and has a parking lot behind the establishment for parking. The service is great, the girls are very nice and attentive. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a great beer or food in a casual setting. Also, on Tuesday’s they have a buy one burger get one free deal. I will absolutely be back. This will become one of my regular places!

Unfortunately we stopped in for lunch last week. Calling Restaurant Impossible! I don’t think the décor has changed or been cleaned for more than 30 years since it was El Lugar. I know Hennessey’s is a chain but has the management just given up? It is apparent that no one gives a care about the food, the service or the cleanliness. We ordered the limp, greasy truffle fries, the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The soup was inedible and was clearly from a can and loaded with salt. This is a simple dish that is hard to mess up but they succeeded. All the food wasn’t fresh and made with care. For a special treat, ask for the booth right next to the Men’s room! Avoid this place at all costs!

First time eating here. Our waitress wasn’t very tentative but Bob was great! He kept our drinks filled & made sure we were good. It wasn’t that busy so I’m not sure what was up with our waitress. Food was surprisingly good! You never know what to expect at a bar. Our group got a western cheeseburger, chicken tenders, & grown up grilled cheese with chilli. We got the artichoke dip & it was delicious! I think it’s too expensive for what they give you. So I might look somewhere else to eat next time I’m in the area.

Love the music here on the weekends. Crowd is fairly young and rowdy. The week days are very slow. If you are looking for 1 on 1 time with the bartender come during the week. Make sure you come with friends on the weekends. A lot of fights happen upstairs

It took about 45 min for our food to come. I ordered the Ruben sandwich which had a thick slab of meat but wasn’t very tasty like most Ruben sandwiches I’ve had. It can with the most bland bunch of potato chips which I could have smacked a lot of ketchup or salt on top of. My husband’s food looked dry and not at all picture worthy. He was still hungry because he couldn’t eat all his food. So he tried to fill up on bread instead. Felt as if the server may have had an off day. She was friendly but wasn’t very good about returning to our table for refills or asking about how our food was. It has its good and bad days I guess. We’re locals so we’ve been here plenty of times. I guess the food can be hit and miss.

2 for 1 burger night on Tuesday. Best locals deal and you don’t have to be a local to feel like one here. Staff is always friendly and efficient. A variety of burgers including turkey and veggie done to your liking. Awesome bartenders!

The food is always excellent, the service is usually horrid. The waitresses literally stand and talk while i was waiting for a set up, water, and the bill because i was clearly on my lunch break with only 30 minutes to spare. I ended up having to get up and walk my payment over to them because they were too busy talking at the bar with one another. This doesn’t apply to the server Meg, she is always an excellent and attentive waitress.

4 stars, good place for a beer and a snack during Happy Hour. $ 5 snacks. We got two tall beers and a small pizza= $ 18. It does a budget good.

Cool spot. They have great events or things going on sometimes. Bar tenders are nice and they are super tolerant/patient with everyone. If you go during the day, sometimes you can bring your dog in.

Came here a few days ago for an afternoon cocktail and sat in the front patio area. Everything was a-ok until we were ready to pay the check and leave. Our waitress seemed to have vanished into the otherwise empty restaurant for quite some time, so I asked the hostess and she assured us she’d let our waitress know we needed the check. A few minutes later two other tables get seated on the patio and our waitress suddenly appears. Not to bring us a check or even ask if we needed anything. Despite all our efforts to politely get her attention she completely ignores us. After taking drink orders from the other tables she leaves again only to return with their drinks and leave again. She finally brings the check on her third trip out, drops it on our table without even looking up and mumbles some half ass ‘thank you’. So rude. Great sangria. Awful service.

Disappointed with the fish and chips but the artichoke dip made up for it! My boyfriend and I walked in late on a Thursday night and they had a guitarist playing random music. Didn’t go upstairs but they have one bar section and the other section adjacent to it is the dining room. Service was good.

Favorite bar in Laguna! I love the burgers. Super close to the water too. I’ve been in there a few times, I’ll definitely be back. The karioki was super fun!

I came here for karaōke after dinner with a few of my coworkers and I absolutely loved it! They have such a great selection of songs — we had so much fun. It was a great way to end the night. There is plenty of seating and room so that you didn’t feel cramped the entire time.

Fun little place to pop into for karaōke on week nights, especially Tuesday’s. But weekends are average and so are their drinks. Cute atmosphere and friendly service :) I haven’t eaten here yet, but from what I’ve seen, they offer solid Irish bar food.

Weird that there is one of these about 15 mins away from my house and i’ve never been, but have been to the one in Laguna 5+ times? Upstairs is where it is at. Tourist spot for sure. Tons of out of towners going in to get drunk and dance to some rap music. Bartender who works usually is a heavy-chested blonde who makes some mean drinks! They also have a down stairs where they do food and also have a bar. Never been down there except to cock block on this guy trying to take home a hog. Random story: One night we are here and my g/f and i come outside for a cig, and this weirdo in a suit is out there and calls himself Quagmire, like from Family Guy. He was a weirdo for sure. Skinny, white kid, shaggy hair, absolutely no game in the world. He is out there smoking weed out of a In-n-Out cup(Ghetto Macgvyer) trying to get at every girl coming out. Nice kid, but someone needs to teach the guy how to talk to women.
