Good food, service and price point. Went on Saturday night walked and was great. Ty party of 9

As soon as I walked in I was created by the lovely karina. She was so helpful and you can tell that she loves her job. She has such a welcoming smile and very attentive to her guests. She need to be recognized if management haven’t noticed her yet. I enjoyed my experience with everyone else as well. Oreo shake lady.

We had an amazing time here, thanks to our server, Claire. She was fabulous! Excellent service, charming and friendly. We can’t wait to come back and visit. Loved the food, and you can’t beat the atmosphere, sitting right across from the beach!

Used to love eating at Johnny Rockets each time we drove to Laguna Beach. But after today will prbly start breaking the habit. Even the view of the beach through the window couldn’t add consolation to the slightly bitter buttery bun they now use. Burger itself is not bad but not worth remembering either. Will eat somewhere else next time.

This review is mainly geared towards the service ! The food here is either a hit or miss and just depends on personal preference but the service was awesome!
Me and my girlfriend came in pretty early and sat at the bar area. Our server was awesome and friendly she asked if we had ever been there before and if she could help us with anything! Great customer service. My girl ordered the grilled cheese, I had had a sandwich packed with me so I didn’t eat anything. The lady was very friendly and allowed me to eat the homemade sandwich at the restaurant… Most places don’t do this. I felt very welcomed.
My girlfriends grilled cheese was on sourdough and with American cheese. It was gooey, melted deliciousness and she really enjoyed it. The bread was buttered nicely and toasted to a crisp which gave a sharp contrast to the smooth melted cheese on the inside. YUM! Fries were hot and delicious according to my girl and everything was

Karina is an awesome waitress! She was quick and super friendly! When I commented on her Johnny Rockets pin (I collect pins) and asked her if I could buy one, she found that they didn’t sell them and then offered me her own! She definitely deserves a promotion.
Oh ya, and the food was good.

This place is really small and has very little seating. I wouldn’t recommend it to groups bigger then 4 as there is only one table to fit more the 4. Service was really good, very friendly staff. The food is just ok. It has a great location across from the beach, but it is really difficult to find parking.

Amazing location and open late. But service was really slow when I went. People are nice, but in the summer all the tourists coming into town make the place really loud. Good shakes though.

Advantage is can order, wait 10 – 15 minutes and go across eat at the small ass sandy beach.
Burger patty is crumbling and very small/​thin, bun overtakes it big time. and a cheeseburger $ 1.00 extra for the cheese whoa) is good, but wish more meat. The bread is good, toppings are too, full buck for cheese on a burger? cmon now.
David was a good cashier/​manager on duty though.
Limited menu, but then again a diner. You dont have much choice around the area if you wanna eat at the beach anyways. Tastes good, they make a good burger, please more consistent and thick patty!

Good fast food with a fun loud atmosphere. Bring your ear plugs as the music is too loud even the staff can’t hear each other. Good for kids and a quick meal while on break from the beach across the street. Everything is made fresh right in front of you if you sit at the bar.

It’s Johnny Rockets. No complaints here. Food was real good, above par when compared to other jJohnny Rockets. Staff was great, location is awesome.

Reason why this location is awesome: You can call them from the beach, place your order, then go pick it up and resume resting on the sand. Or if you’re lucky, have someone go pick up your order for you!
This place would be perfect if they offered a delivery service to the beach! Get on it, Johnny Rockets!

Blasted in with a European friend with just half an hour between meetings to get a burger. We communicated this to Logan, who totally understood, and delivered on his promise to make it happen,
We ordered drool-​worthy bacon cheddar cheeseburgers and fries, and they were on the table in under ten minutes — yet tasted like they’d been prepared by the Gods of Burgers on Mount Carnivorous over the past century.
The fries and coke were refilled on the regular, and the smiles kept on coming from us, from Logan, and the charming middle-​aged trainee who was ostensibly learning but represented the establishment with the enthusiasm of an owner.
Our last refills came in takeaway cups for the road. Healthy? No. A satisfying and appreciated final touch? Absolutely.
Bottom line: my Canadian-​born, Amsterdam-​residing colleague shook his head and said, ‘Goddamn I love American service.’

Always a good time with great food. Burgers, fries, and shakes are made excellent here. Love the old school décor and vibe. Been dining at Johnny Rockets since I was a young lad and now I bring my kids. Very cool place.

First the problems. The general manager was walking around with a grouch face. He was frowning, never making eye contact. I was uncomfortable as he seemed to be giving off a bad vibe.
Server was cheerful and attentive. Cooks seemed happy.
The food. The burger was a cheeseburger, bacon, onion ring concoction. It was medium well done. The burger was messy but tasted great. Onion rings were slightly underdone.
The fries, yuck. They were ¾ cooked and lukewarm. The taste of undercooked potato was strong. Next time I will request they leave the fries down longer.

Juana is the best server. These people sing and dance and you can make any burger into turkey or soy party. If you much chain it in Laguna, this is the place.

I had lunch here yesterday, it being my first time in Laguna Beach. I was not disappointed. Our server was excellent, friendly and attentive, always gladly going the «extra mile» for our party.
This retro diner/​burger joint is across PCH from the beach in the heart of Laguna Beach. The interior is all white with black and chrome accents, and the servers are outfitted in old-​style white uniforms with cap and all. There are table-​top juke box selectors, the lighting is nicely done, and the fries are superb as is all the food I tasted. Definitely a jewel. I wish there were one up in the North Bay.

I was very disappointed … we went here for lunch and we both ordered two cheeseburgers. and they were DRIPPING with oil… we couldn’t even finish our burgers. Ive never experienced this at any other Johnny Rockets in CA…
We also waited about 5 min after our bill was dropped off because our waitress was filling sauce in these little clear cups… so that was annoying. we finally had to call for her.
My fav part was them turning up the music and singing and doing this dance to rockin robin… tweet tweet tweet (haha had to add the rest)…
It was fun and they got everyone happy… they should leave their music on loud all the time.
Probably won’t end up going back cuz of the quality of the food… maybe more of a kids place.

Six of has a nice lunch. Two had burgers, two had patty melts and two veggie burgers. All good.
We were served by David who was funny, charming and attentive. At one point the staff got moving to «Get Down Tonight.» (I posted a photo)
All in all a fun time.
