Starbucks

«Johnny» and «Mike» we’re two employees here that were quite rude 2÷3÷16. Customers were treated with disgust when they ordered a drink that required a pour over. Coffee was good tasting, just not very good service.

Clearly, I should have read the reviews before visiting this location. But who would think a visit to Starbucks could go so wrong?
The blonde cashier with glasses smiled plenty enough but her tone and mannerisms were abhorrent. I ordered a chai latte with soy, no water. She repeated a «dirty» chai? I politely told her it was a reg latte with soy only and she grabbed the cup a second time and marked it. She then tossed my credit card on the counter after swiping it. A different person handed me the pastry and was rather pleasant.
The chai was prepared as a dirty/​with espresso, which was apparent after my first sip AND there was an espresso mark on the outside of the cup. I returned into the store and as soon as I stepped in, the cashier extended her hand already knowing it was wrong. No apology. I then watched her accept someone else’s card whom she apparently knew and after swiping it she handed it to the patron. Out of curiosity and assurance it was not an isolated incident, I purchased another pastry and told her standing in the store was too much temptation for me. Once again, she swiped and tossed it on the counter while my hand was extended. Before it hit the counter, I smiled and asked «Why do you always throw down MY card?».
It’s really sad that service sucks in a such a beautiful location.

You know what you’re getting into at Starbucks. The coffee and the speciality drinks are pretty consistent just about anywhere you go. WiFi is blazing up loading and down loading and I like speed when traveling.
But this is a really cool place because it has an ocean view. Your favorite Starbucks sip is across the Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach — at the main beach where many tourists like to hang out in this artsy area. Not too shabby at all. I can smell the salty breeze coming through the door way while pouring cappuccino through my veins. Good «cap» vibrations!
Good Good Vibrations — a Beach Boys classic in 1966. The Beach Boys rock and rolled the surf here, I suppose, as they grew up in SoCal. Now, I let go with a good vibrations cappuccino while the surf is rockin and rollin across PCH.

Probably the smallest location I’ve ever been in. I think I may of seen seating for 2? They do sell a huge selection of their mugs & canisters. Seriously though it wasn’t a problem. Because they made coffee correctly and that’s why I came in & 100 yards away is the beach and we were lucky to catch the sunset just as it was going down. So who cares about the space inside?! Same great coffee inside but gorgeous view outside! ;)

One of the most worst Starbucks I have been too. This blonde and short employee is being rude. She won’t take my mobile payment cause of the system. Seriously lady, your attitude is mean and I sick of your attitude. She didn’t even smile. I will not EVER go to that Starbucks after she treated me badly.

Great location fast and good advise but the 1^st time idk what they did to my drink but I had ordered a caramel frap but it tasted like coffee water and ice no caramel the passion tea lemonade though tasted like a god made it

Let me preface this review by saying, its always hard to work in a quick service restaurant or coffee shop. However, the barista could have been a bit more attentive when taking my order.
He was willing to fix everything we wanted and gave us the ‘wrong’ drinks complimentary (not that we needed 5 drinks among 4 people), but it was nice that he didn’t just take them and throw them away. ‘A’ of effort in fixing our order.

Love Starbucks and come for specific items that just don’t taste the same elsewhere. Unfortunately this location has made mistakes multiple times and usually takes a while even when there’s not a long line.
The décor here is lovely and it’s a great place to sit and relax while waiting for traffic to thin out but unfortunately the drinks just aren’t up to par with other locations I frequent. Maybe the beach vibe is too relaxed? Lol

Beware of the rude & selfish young woman with the pony tail who tells you they’re closed at 9:01 but hasn’t given you your drinks you were waiting for. We’ll tell Starbucks next… strange being so rude in such a friendly town…

Tried to walk in this morning as a customer was leaving. Very crowded as always. I was trying to move out of the way as a Starbucks employee was trying to get by. I moved out of the way, I thought, then she said I was still in her way. I left and got my coffee at Shirley’s. A simple excuse me would have worked.

If u don’t like ur job … QUIT! Every morning I stop in and the service is horrible they «get to know» some customers then act like its a chore to serve others worst people working there. Never had this problem at any other Starbucks

I visit this location at least once a day. Sometimes service is slow but they have a lot of great people working there! Shane and Johnny are my favorite. My drink is a bit complicated but it is always made pretty well. Thanks!

Great drive by location. It’s nice and quick on my way to work. It’s under construction right now — but still open for business. I’m a fan!

They don’t have change for a $ 100 at 5:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Can you believe this. In Laguna Beach, where there are million dollar homes, they are refusing to give me change for a $ 100. Screw them!

Horribly bad customer service. Very means to customers. Drink is bad too. I know today is holiday but u still have to worry about the quality of the drink. I wish I could give them a negative star.

Even 1 star rating is too generous for this place. It you’re looking up a Starbucks or coffee place at Laguna Beach area, I kindly advise to you to avoid this location at all cost unless you want to be treated with the most unprofessional, rude, racist employees possible. They were simply the worst attitude for no reason at all.

I’m a partner. Which means I work for Starbucks.
Nicest way to put it is there is another one up the street, I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy yourself, your drink, and experience up that way.
Rude staff. Unorganized staff. Made 2 out of my 3 drinks wrong. I wasn’t being complicated. When the girl at the register was clearly overwhelmed, the three guys around her, not including the one in the back washing dishes or the one making drinks, did nothing. she even asked for help guys! When she forgot to write my bag for a wrap, the guys gave her, and me, shit for it! Dude. I don’t work here don’t talk to me like this small mistake that is easily fixable is my fault!
Don’t freak on her and glare in front of ppl! U look like a jerk!!!
Poor girl at the register and one making drinks they looked like they were trying. Everyone else just seemed rude and lazy.
Please, go up the street to get some real Starbucks experience!

Went here after morning walk. Order 3 orders, gave me a wrong drink… Can’t even get a clean small hot water lid. Thanks for nothing!

No seat no table no restroom… only wifi :-(Walk a block ahead pu to 180 N. coast highway– same sidewalk for a full service Starbucks and view of the beach.

Small and a bit crowded in there. No bathrooms either.
Staff was friendly.
