This crappy place doesn’t even deserve ONE star. The coffee tasted like SH*T. I have lived in the Midwest, east coast, everywhere and I’ve known about cozy family owned coffee shops and this place has to be the worst I’ve ever visited. The kid behind the counter was either high or drunk, rude service, and the«iced coffee» tasted like some old burnt coffee that had been sitting around for a couple hours with ice added in. Super disgusting. Don’t even waste your time. This place sucks.

I went here this morning hoping to experience the delicious chai everyone keeps mentioning. There was only one person working(and no customers inside) that I could tell. He was really nice though seemed really distracted/spacey and was texting as he was ringing me up. I ordered a medium spiced iced chai. It was bigger than I thought and had less ice than chais I get from other shops. That would have been great except it was really sweet, not totally mixed up all the way(there were little chunks of powder floating around), and it tasted like the milk had been left out for a little bit, like when you get to the bottom of the cereal bowl and the milk has reached room temperature taste. I also purchased a «muffin top» that tasted and looked suspiciously like a scone. The spacey cashier could have also been confused since it wasn’t labeled and in the day old bin. Overall the price was really accommodating, though I don’t think I’ll go here again for a while. Also, the decorations were a little clausterphobic/overwhelming…I would find it difficult to spend a long afternoon studying there like I usually do in coffee shops.

Great little coffee shop. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Not much of a hot coffee person so I was excited they had blended drinks and iced coffee — I highly recommend the chocolate peanut butter blended drink of you have a sweet tooth. Reasonably priced as well!

I do not like the atmosphere … It’s not bohemian… It looks dirty and unorganized. I thought the coffee is going to compensate for it … But NO! One of the worst cupoochino’s I have ever had. I went there based on the Unilocal reviews and I am very surprise that people rank that place high.

I came to The Koffee Klatch with high hopes: good Unilocal reviews, good location in Laguna, and what looked like good coffee. The location itself is limited to metered street parking(but what else would you expect in Laguna?). There’s a patio that’s cute with lots of assorted chairs and sofas, looks like a good spot for a late night coffee run with friends. The inside is small and cramped, so not ideal for a long stay. The coffee is very reasonably priced, and I ordered the Mexican mocha because it was recommended via Unilocal.I couldn’t even finish it(which is never a problem for me!). It was way too cinnamon-y and watered down. Although I liked the atmosphere of the outside, the coffee was just so bad it’s not worth a return visit.

It’s just whatever. We made a special trip here because we were in Laguna. It’s not a place where you get latte art. It’s just a place to get coffee. Lots of powdered alternative. It’s fine but too sweet and not worth the drive if you’re coming from afar. But yes, it did the trick.

Coffee tastes like dirt, the place is dirty and unhygienic. The bathroom is always dirty and disgusting. The place is filled with shady people all the time and the workers kinda scare me.

The atmosphere inside this little coffee shop is very bohemian and cozy. It’s the kind of place you could sit down and sip coffee while having a real conversation My boyfriend and I ordered a dirty chai each and split a love bagel. The chai was very yummy but the love bagel stole the show. It’s super simple but so delicious. It’s just a bagel, we picked and everything bagel, with cream cheese, tomato and avocado, sprinkled with Lemon pepper and garlic powder. So simple but so good!

I’m in love with the sugar free vanilla macchiato. This place is very relaxing, I come here often, sit at the round table by the water fountain, get my work done, so peaceful. It has a fresh breeze and a little bit of a water view. All the baristas are very kind to me and get my drinks spot on. Love bagel is amazing and my favorite is the scrambled eggs with feta cheese, avocado and other stuff, delicious. Did I mention that I’m in love with their sugar free vanilla macchiato?

I do not like giving negative reviews, but holy cow did I have a bad experience here. Let’s get this out of the way first– the coffee is bad, plain and simple. But that’s not my issue, the problem I had was the customer service which was up there with some of the worst for me. Rude, careless baristas make for a very unwelcoming environment. Make the changes you guys, it’s going to eventually hurt your business if you don’t:/ customer service is everything.

This is still one of my favorite spots to relax in Laguna Beach! It’s definitely a comfortable and cozy with a great selection of drinks and treats. I love the dirty chai latte and a bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes, and lemon pepper. Delicious!

Stopped in on one of my summer sunset strolls and grabbed an Americano. Delicious and super fast service. I loved the hip Gypsy Den interior design, but the outside courtyard patio was exquisite. So chill…

I don’t get it! Why does it have the name klatch? Nothing to do with the actually Klatch Coffee that’s extremely good and everything done at the highest standards. This was a total let down. I gave them two stars because their apricot tart was delicious. The«baristas» seem like they are smoking something, they appears in lala-land! They where doing their extractions on a dainty old old not so good espresso machine. I ask my cappuccino to drink there, and than they asked me three times if I wanted my order to go… Lol I don’t know what their smoking but it certainly not making them better at their job. Btw they gave me my order to go…

I know they don’t give a sh*t what I write because they’re cooler than cool here but I’ve now been made to be hot under the collar(and, they probably don’t give a flyin’ f*ck because that’s my problem, not theirs, even though their flipant attitude is what irked me). Why they get 3 stars, still, is because I’ve been here twice before with no issue and their beverages and eats are good. Furthermore, I guess it’s their, «I don’t give a f*ck» attitude” and if that’s the bitter feeling they want, they’re excelling. To the woman cashier with her torn tang top who’s shirt read, «Stop telling women to smile,» — Don’t get a job in customer service in the USA. Move to Sweden where(and I know, personally) that that attitude is abundant. You’re need to show the world your not«fake» because you’re not forcing a smile is sad and you only made me bitter. I don’t feel sorry for you, I feel bad that you think smiling is fake or forced femininity. To the man who made my latte and insisted with non-verbal communication I had to be forced to another counter when you could’ve just handed to me. I’m going to tell myself that it had to do with health regulations not control issues. I would never want to become a regular here(hence why 3 stars, not 4). I’d hate to become THAT bitter(and I’m someone that occasionally wears a shirt that reads, «People are stupid»). Maybe the bitterness exuded here waves off the happy-go-lucky strangers and keeps your bitter regulars consuming what you’re selling.

Sincere honesty coming from a girl who dreamed of opening a coffeehouse… 10 years ago this was a beautiful, peaceful serene coffee house by the sea where I used to write poetry… Since traveling across the country and discovering coffeehouses from Seattle to Colorado to the East Coast, I’ve come back to OC and this place has THEWORSTSERVICE of any coffeehouse literally, across the nation… A true Barista has a passion for coffee and sees it as an art, this staff doesn’t seem to appreciate either one. I feel for the owner as I can tell by the décor, the intention was love. He/she needs to clean house. It’s the staff that drags this place to the floor. Every single time I come here, I speak to them before they speak to me. Sometimes they are on drugs, or drunk, It’s embarrassing every time I order a drink which is why, I’m done. As a Laguna local, I believe in supporting the local community and causes that I believe in. A coffeehouse should be about art, intellect, and positive change, they are ment as a gathering place for philosophy I believe this place can change, but I’m boycotting until I hear there are new faces at the register cause, let’s face it; A strong woman cannot be fooled–

–Desserts come from La Mousse Desserts, nothing special. –Drinks taste like milk, ice, and flavored powdered blended together. –30 year old worker flirted with 12 year old girls. –They allowed a 10 year old boy to vape inside. The only good thing about this place is the interior décor, everything else is overrated. The drinks are overpriced and the food, mediocre. The only reason why I came here was because I believed it was the same as The Coffee Klatch in West Covina, boy was I mistaken.

What the? How is this place the #1 rated coffee place for miles? Someone is seriously boosting their ratings. Despite a cutesy-hip interior and location(nice tables and seating in the breezeway between the shops), service was not what I’d call friendly, and there were several(5 – 6) young boys(15 – 17) just«hanging», apparently recovering from their last binge or just loitering. One had to be told to leave(apparently due to prior problems). The coffee was unspectacular(and actually pretty messed up – a latte with a healthy foam on the top? A cappu-latte? Wtf?), and the croissant breakfast sandwich was basically a croissant with cheddar and egg. Nothing special at all. There are much better places, and yesterday I enjoyed Laguna coffee much better. Best thing about the Koffee Klatch are the hours. For any college student(or I guess any student rather) that wants to get his or her study grind on, this place is perfect because you can get your caffeine or sugar rush fix, there’s outlets, outdoor and indoor seating and most importantly has FREEWIFI and is OPENLATE. Nearly a cramming college student’s haven. Also, I saw quite a few dogs here so I’m thinking this place is dog friendly :) and as a dog lover this was quite pleasing. I ordered a latte, but wasn’t too impressed. It tasted overly bitter and something just felt off about it. The coffee served isn’t something to run over here for, but it gets the job done. I’ve heard good things about their coffee alternatives, however, but have yet to try them out. Service isn’t bad & the baristas are accommodating! Seating inside can be hit or miss if you want a table, but there’s also a little couch/lounge-esque area that you see once you walk inside. There’s seating outside that has a hipstery vibe to it because there’s twinkly lights and whatnot, which keeps the ambiance up and oh yeah, not to mention there was an outlet and a power strip outside too — hallelujah! If you need to go to the bathroom, ask the cashier for the key! It’s basically a walk around from where outside seating is(super close by) and it’s clean too! & I don’t know if it’s weird to say, but it felt pretty darn hip in there too but maybe that’s just because 1) it was clean and 2) the lighting in there… nonetheless, if ya need to pee just ask for the key! tldr; NEEDTOSTUDY?
