We moved from New York seven weeks ago and have been looking for«real» pizza. We just found it. Every Time we are close we now pop in for a slice … or three ;) Thanks for a «slice» of the East Coast in sunny SoCal.

Although it seems like a high price point the consistency is there and it’s really great pizza. This is coming from first gen Sicilian immigrants. It’s good fucking pizza. Definitely go if you’re in the mood for pizza and they do by the slice too !

Gotta love this place! We go to swim lessons in the same complex and its an easy way to pick up dinner to take home after my sons lesson. We love the Calzone and meatballs are HUGE and great! It is becoming one of our regular dinner spots for sure due to friendly staff, price and quality food!

The best Gluten Free pizza you can get in the area hands down. It reminds me of East Coast pizza– a small quaint pizza place that is the best kept secret in the area

Honestly, I think it’s the best pizza I have ever had, not to mention the service is superb! Rudy is so kind and always eager to make the customer happy! The prices are great too! I recommend everyone comes and tries this place… It’s amazing!

This is our favorite local go-to pizza place. We usually get the New York style large pepperoni pizza. We have also tried the lasagna, meatball sub, garlic knots, and the gluten free pizza. Everything we tried was excellent! The service is always great and the kids love it.

It was ok nothing extraordinary. I can’t fathom $ 60 for 3 — 14″ pizzas with toppings and including a 15% Unilocal deal. I could maybe feel comfortable with that if the cheese was organic and grassfed or at least rgbh hormone free cheese, and if the meats were nitrite free along with organic produce. I would gladly pay more it if was solid. I will go to Costco, but if it floats your boat keep sailing.

This pizza plus restaurant has become our go to, since moving to the area from San Clemente, while waiting for Laguna Woods renovation. We’re from Albany, NY, and enjoy Italian food, including pizza. We have found some, not a great many excellent choices. Our thoughts… Atmosphere…It’s a good thing we like the food. Service…Personal, they care. Food…Quality ingredients, freshly prepared, whether pizzas, gluten free or not, thick or thin crust, calzones, salads are very, very, good. The menu is just broad enough to appeal to most, and seems to be limited to things they are really good at. Value…given the quality? Reasonable for sure.

I don’t understand what all these stars reviews, I ordered the deluxe pie and the garlic knots. Did not taste good, low quality meat and the pizza was under cooked, we had 3 pieces and threw the rest away

First time last night!!! Truly amazing pizza!!! Authentic homemade ingredients! Pizza was fresh, steamy hot right out of the oven! Cheese & sauce so yummy!!! We can’t wait to share with my son who loves great pizza. Next time will try a Hero sandwich & a wedge salad :)

Solid pizza joint! We ordered the house pizza and garlic knots. The garlic knots were great — you can seriously get full eating 2 – 3 of these. The house pie was awesome — the first slice I had I was so occupied thinking about how great it was that I didn’t realize there was no sauce! Confused, I stopped eating for a sec and asked one of the guys from the back and he said«no, no sauce» — I shrugged it off and downed another slice. The bacon, feta, spinach and pepperoni are really something else. Will definitely be back to try some of their other stuff.

I thought I wrote a review for this place a year ago when I was first searching for gluten free pizzas… maybe I deleted it ?? Who knows, but it was for the gluten free pizza — which isn’t bad. This pizza place is good and it has a decent variety of specialties. The lunch deal is worth the visit. I would recommend by the slice if you choose to eat here. The medium and large pizzas are good but not as amazing or mouth watering as described by other Unilocalers. I got an 18″ house special and it was just okay. I wish I ordered the medium since I didn’t eat more than 1 slice. The knots were okay as well, somewhat disappointing because I expected so much more. The prices are fair.

Best Pizza in South OC! I usually get the Vegetarian Pizza, and the garlic knots are pretty good too. I recommend calling ahead if you can because it takes ~20 minutes for them to make the pizza.

First Time Here I ordered a Large Pepperoni Pizza and 5 Garlic Knots($ 1.00 a piece) and with the Unilocal check in promotion, out the door was a fair price of $ 20. The pizza and knots are a new family favorite.

Best pizza I have had in OC. I cannot recommend the eggplant parm, as it was all mush and cheese. Thankfully I had beautiful garlic knots to keep me company so I was still happy.

It wouldn’t be called a hidden gem if it wasn’t hidden. The store is hidden in the corner of a plaza, but if you manage to find this place, you’ll be rewarded with great pizza. Customer service was good. My boyfriend asked for to go, but had the intention of eating there. When the owner saw us sitting down, he asked if we wanted the food for here & walked the food over to our seats. We ordered a slice of the meat lovers pizza & a slice of the house(feta cheese, bacon, & spinach). With an included drink, the total came out to $ 6.50 plus tax. If you like your pizza on the thin side & with a crunch(which is just the way I like it), this is the place to go! We also ordered garlic knots(4 for $ 3.50 or 1 for $ 1.00). Although they were good, the pizza is the star of this place.

I LOVE pizza, all kinds, thick crust, thin crust, wood-fired, square, round, you name it. With all the fast-fired pizza places all the rage now, there are so many pizza places to choose from these days. With that being said, it is nice to find a nice, old school pizza place that makes traditional pies but has some unique aspects to their menu. Terra Mia Pizzeria is that place for NY style pizza with some twists. Upon hearing about Terra Mia, I was intrigued by many things. Decided to start out with an order of their antipasto salad. Chock full of meats and cheese, it was a great salad to accompany our impending pizza. Also ordered some of their famous garlic knots I had been hearing so much about. OMG is all I have to say about these. I do love garlic and these did not disappoint. The marinara sauce is made from scratch daily from fresh tomatoes and is so good to dip these knots of goodness in. Yum! Now, the pizza I had been reading about and wanting. Known as the House Pie. I ordered the 14″ that was topped with spinach, pepperoni, garlic, bacon and feta. OK, I know it sounds odd especially for a New Yorker making pizza here at his place, but it was such a great combo. The feta and spinach work really well with the bacon and pepperoni and garlic. The crust is fabulous with hand-stretched dough, authentic to its NY roots. Cannoli is a weakness for me. This one was was dipped in chocolate. WHAT?! This had me drooling. OK, so it’s not very traditional, but who cares. Did I mention, it was dipped in chocolate? Nom nom. This place is definitely kinda off the beaten path in Laguna Hills. This family-run business makes me smile. The owners take great pride in the food they are making and atheir customers. Staff was great here. Once again, thanks to Unilocal have found another mom and pop pizza place that I am glad to patronize.

Small hole-in-the-wall pizza restaurant in a plaza. Appears to cater to-go takeout orders(didn’t see any chairs or tables). Recommend to call ~30min ahead of time so order will be ready at pickup. House pie is the restaurant’s specialty pizza with pepperoni, bacon, spinach, feta and garlic which was pretty good. For a large 18″ pizza it was $ 19.50. I would pass on the garlic knots though($ 3.50 for 4)!

Hidden gem … for sure! Who knew a pizza place like this existed in Laguna Hills? Here’s a secret. If you’re just ordering pizza and not the pasta, you’re missing out! 5 stars — Baked Stuffed Shells with an inside filling of plentiful ricotta and Parmesan cheese. Then there’s the melty mozzarella cheese over the top. Cheese in this dish is the perfect amount. As your fork goes to cut into the stuffed shell, the cheese oozes out. Slow motion camera… where are you… zoom in for a shot of that! And this dish comes with two garlic rolls! Worth a mention here, but take a look at the details below. The pasta shell itself was cooked to the right doneness. Al dente. The marinara sauce baked with the stuffed shells deserves its own separate rating. Here goes… 5 stars– Amazing! The Marinara Sauce has a fresh tomato flavor that is not too tangy and not too sweet. I have been craving this flavor for weeks now, and I finally found it here. I could definitely eat just a bowl of this sauce. But why would I need to, when I could have their garlic rolls to go with it… 5 stars — Garlic Rolls. No wonder it’s so popular. I’m not a fan of garlic rolls that are oily with butter. That is NOT what you get here. They have crushed garlic on them with a shimmer of butter or olive oil for moistness. The bread is so tender. They sell them for a dollar each or four for $ 3.50. Fair price for such a hot commodity! 5 stars — Brown paper bag. Yeah, you got it, I’m writing about this. Food wrapping when getting my food to go is so important to me! This place reminds me of those mom and pop shops I remember when I was younger, that bags the food like this. Old school, plain paper bag: thick enough to protect any food spillage from seeping into the leather seats of my car and thin enough to feel the warmth of the food, which gets my mouth watering even more for the amazing food I’m about to devour. Drive fast, I’m getting hungrier and hungrier! 5 stars — Service. I went on a busy Friday night. But as busy as they were, everyone is attentive about acknowledging you in line and taking your order right away. What keeps them busy is ensuring every meal comes out piping hot. They’ve got one of their ovens right out front, so you can see them warming the sliced pizzas and garlic rolls with each order. Next time I go, which will be again this week, I plan on ordering another one of their pastas with a side of sliced pizza. So good!
