More than just Seafood… Ate here a few nights ago, amazing food! Our server Rob was stellar, along with the other waitstaff. They and the managers were very attentive(but not annoying) I had a fresh fish special OPAH, it was amazing. Everyone at the table ordered a wide variety of dishes and everyone was extreamely happy. We had everything… Prime rib, Coconut Tofu Curry, Poke tacos and even Chicken Picatta. It’s a little on the pricey side for us but we found it was surely worth it. I left VERY happy with what we received and will definitely eat there more.

This place is perfect. I recommend coming for sunset because they have a great outdoorsy feel where you’re eating above the ocean breaking on the rocks below. Such a great vibe! Service was great, food was amazing, overall it’s exactly what you’re looking for in a Lahaina seafood restaurant. I had the Opah, blackened w asparagus and mashed potatoes. My beautiful girlfriend had the(award winning) prime rib — which was ridiculously on point. You can’t go wrong here, highly recommend.

This restaurant looks unassuming and like many others on the strip. However, we were greeted with wonderful service, friendly smiles for our little 7 month old, and received our meals very quickly. He presentation of the food was beautiful, it is all locally sourced, and very flavorful. The arugula salad, mac but crusted mahimahi, and the dinner special fish were all fantastic! A wonderful oceanfront dinner and family friendly. Highly recommended.

If you haven’t tried lahaina fish co. Next time your in Lahaina you must try out their seafood paella mahi mahi, shrimp scallops and Portuguese sausage with White rice. When you get a chance request for Walter or Rob they go above and beyond and they take pride in their job. I came in with my girlfriend last week it was her birthday and they brought out a cake and surprise us and their entire server staff came over and sang happy birthday that made my girlfriends night. You must request a table by the water at sunset when you’re near the edge you can see fishes swimming in the water while the sun sets. It was a perfect dinner and the night with a happy ending. I haven’t tried out for lunch this is my third time that I’ve been here but dinner is always perfect.

The views are amazing and the atmosphere/décor are relaxing. The service is good. The lilikoi margarita is very good and gives you that wonderful Hawaiian experience. Three solid stars for that. The food? I had prime rib and shrimp tacos. The prime rib was crispy and they left the shell and tails on the shrimp. Inside a taco. Think about that. You find out when you bite into it. No one else in our party of four remembers what they ate. They didn’t have a bad meal, but obviously it wasn’t memorable at all. Tip – they offer a locally made cola and while it has a nice flavor, it’s super sweet. Too sweet for me, but I can see people liking it. Oh, and if you’re being seated upstairs in an oceanfront table, watch your step. Or rather, their step. Someone in your party will faceplant otherwise. When my mother in law did, one of the servers said it happens several times per day.

Beautiful view, beautiful lady(my wife) and the food was good too! Had a great time tonight fish was amazing and the macadamia nut pie is a must try. Even the bread served with butter and Hawaiian see salt started the meal off on the right foot. Not to mention they validated the parking at the the Hilo Hattie’s mall so parking was free as well! Great night!

Most Disappointing Meal On Maui. Can I stop there? Ok, I’ll tell you more… The Good: –The views are BEAUTIFUL. The restaurant is situated over the waters edge and has lights shining down to illuminate the fish below. We sat by the window for dinner and had the most beautiful views of the water with some fish visitors throughout our meal –The bread & butter. I love bread, I love butter. I love bread and butter. They serve theirs hot and the butter is sprinkled with Hawaiian Sea Salt. The downside, they only give you 1 piece each. You want more bread? You better ask for it. Still good though! –Brussel sprouts. Pretty tasty, not my favorite brussel sprouts of all time, but they still make the good list The Really, Really Bad: –The food. In particular, the FISH. If your name is «Lahaina FISH Co.» and you can’t get the fish right, what is the point!!! Here’s my experience: ordered the«Pacific Snapper» described as «premium seasonal snapper pan seared with a garlic lemon truffle aioli over locally farmed roasted Maui vegetables». They were out of Snapper and subbed a similar fish. The issue was, my plate arrived and I found an array of vegetables, cooked to varying levels of done, with no seasoning, all of them being somewhere between lukewarm and cold and strewn about the plate with no eye for décor or detail. I’m sorry, when I pay $ 40 for a plate of food it should definitely look appetizing, even if it doesn’t have the taste to match. The fish was dry, overcooked, had the mildest fishy odor and was well doused in the aioli which is a thick sauce which masked the lack of flavor and freshness in the fish residing below it. I’d like to note that I NEVER send food back but I did on this night and instead ordered the Opah. On the Opah, the red pepper sauce was good as was the fish itself but because of the varying thickness in my piece of fish, the center was completely raw and couldn’t be eaten. I didn’t feel like having another conversation with the waiter so I ate around it until I was full and called it a night. On the upside, the waiter gave us a discount over the whole situation which covered our brussel sprouts. My counterparts dish was the Hawaiian sea salt and pepper ribeye. The steak was cooked well but had very little seasoning and a lot of fatty pieces leftover. I think it fared better than my fish overall but still not worth more than 3 stars in my book, especially at this price point. Overall a disappointing dinner, I’d recommend Lahaina Fish Co for drinks or lunch so that you can at least enjoy the beautiful views.

While waiting for our table, we decided to go to their lounge area next to the bar. The bartender was extremely helpful and friendly and made us try the ahi katsu which was truly fantastic! We are big seafood lovers and typically peaky foodies — I love their food and the ambiance and would definitely highly recommend them! Five stars!

This place was wonderful! My mom is a picky eater so finding a place we could all agree on was difficult at times. The Fish Co. seemed like a pretty typical oceanside restaurant at first glance, nice but casual décor, nothing too fancy. I appreciated the fact that this isn’t a sports bar or filled with TVs, like so many waterfront places are. The food was really outstanding — I had a taro burger, and others ordered the poke bowl, fries, and other seafood. The picky eater had fish and chips and was very satisfied. Although the waitstaff could use a little training, the excellent food made it worth it.

It’s really a 3.5 in my book which is solid. If you are looking for a high end foodie experience this is not your place. If you are looking for a good, old school style open to the ocean setting place with decent food, come on in. While Front street has a dozen eateries all perched on the water, none of them really have any stellar food. Many people say they are all«tourist traps». Well since 99% of the people in Lahaina are tourists, you could say that about almost all restaurants that are nice and have views. How about the food you ask? We were there for lunch so limited in what we had. But this place at least makes their own fresh french fries which many don’t. Fish tacos were ok but not special. Should be able to do better here in the land of fish tacos. Primo burger was actually quite good and large(½ pound I’m guessing) with a solid fresh«beef» flavor. The pineapple ring, teriyaki sauce and sharp cheddar worked well going for the island theme. The unripe tomato and shredded lettuce and red onion from the mainland did not. Good brioche bun. It was undercooked(ordered medium and it was medium rare) so keep that in mind when ordering. If they put some real maui onions on this, some butter lettuce and skip the unripe tomato, they would have a much better burger. garden salad was basic with spring mix but had a nice house papaya vinegarette dressing. Artichoke fries were really deep fried artichoke hearts. But they were really good. Nice breading on the outside and a good aioli truffle laced dipping sauce. Other food at tables around us looked decent but not special by any means. Wife commented that the chicken wrap looked very good. Service was friendly, solid, with good check in’s and manager stop by to make sure we were good. I like that. So it’s a great place to sit, drink, take in the view and decent food and oh yeah… for lunch they have a $ 5 mai tai! That might seal the deal for a lot of people. Not the best mai tai but not the worst either. Dock and load…

Came here for our honeymoon and we got the best seats in the house, right by the water! You can feed the fish in the water with the house bread and we saw a trumpet fish and a large puffer! We ordered the steamed clams for appetizer. I got the snapper and the hubby got the opah. Everything was amazing. I recommended this place if you’re in Lahaina!

5 star view– 3 star food. We had the ahi reuben sandwich and artichoke fries. The ahi fillet was about a ¼ inch thick and the Rye bread was so soggy the sandwich fell completely apart. Average taste — nothing special. I am pretty sure the artichoke fries were previously frozen — once again, nothing special. The dipping sauce tasted like bottled Caesar dressing — not good! Lastly, I must say the view is awesome!

Came here wth my family a couple weeks ago, and overall the food was good. The pina coladas here are SOLID, and definitely missed them when we’d go to other restaurants throughout the week. We kind of felt like our waiter was kind of making fun of us the whole time though. I’m totally down with sarcasm, but I think you gotta do it right and with a charm, and he was a bit of a downer. The other thing was the he sold us this special: a fish(I forget… some white fish) with bacon wrapped lobster on top. 3 of us, including me, were stoked and ordered it. It comes with this little pan shrimp on top… and I’m like«wait nooooo?!» First, that bacon wrapped lobster was what kinda did it for me so to not have t was super sad. But second, that’s kind of a big deal price wise. We were invited, so we didn’t want to cause a scene… but the waiter didn’t mention it. And I ate my meal thinking about that the entire time. I’m sure with a different waiter, this place is cool, but that experience left a weird taste in our mouths. And it wasn’t bacon wrapped lobster.

This place was outstanding! Our group of 4 went here later one evening after reading the menu as we walked by. There was no wait at 8:00 and we were taken to our table immediately. We were waited on by a waitress who was friendly and attentive, and did a good job making recommendations. We started with a seafood chowder which was pricey at 8 dollars, but it’s typical island prices and you got a good sized bowl. The soup itself was incredible, rivaling anything I had in the Bay Area/NorCal. The two dishes I absolutely recommend were the Moonfish(Opah) which was the daily special, and the coconut curry island fish, which was Mahi Mahi but rotates based on season. The curry dish was so good, the fish was cooked perfectly and it was loaded with veggies. I only had one bite of the Opah but everyone who tried some loved it, even those who aren’t huge fish eaters. Try this place out!

We came here because of the convenient location(we literally walked right by it and saw it on Unilocal in proximity) and decided to dine in becuase of the vegetarian and vegan friendly options. We have a family of pescetarians, vegetarians, and a vegan. Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend it. The $ 5 Mai Tai’s did play a significant role… Food — Overall good(but not great as some dishes were much better than others). GETTHEARTICHOKEHEARTFRIES. For vegetarians, get the curry and pass on the(too squishy and sorta tasteless taro burger). Fish and chips are standard and good. Sister got the shrimp burger which was said to be good. Pretty large portion size for a restaurant! It’s $$ but so is all Maui. Service/Timing — Our waiter was extremely helpful and pleasant. He also brought out both food and drinks FAST. He welcomed our instagram social media discount(post on instagram and a side order is free, he gave us our more $$ side order free too!). He did forget straws in our secons round of drinks but another passing by waitress quickly helped us out. We also did get a bit spoiled when our apps and drinks came out so quickly but our food seemed to take longer… but overall we actually only took an hour total from entrance to bill! This was for two appetizers, two rounds of drinks, and our main entrees for five people. Restrooms — tiny but mostly clean. Location — beautiful! We came around 3 pm so the sun was starting to go down and the edge seats were too sunny. Sat two tables in and it was perfect! Great view and nice breeze plus shade :) No happy hour… but they do a special of $ 5 Mai Tai’s! Didn’t see it on the menu so definitly inquire! They were good mai Tai’s and decently strong too!

Starting out with a Hula Hula smoothie! Tastes like heaven, if heaven had a flavor: p. Gotta love a restaurant on the ocean with a beautiful view! Lots of boats, beautiful waves and a few swimmers… Started with Calamari, which was perfectly crisp thick pieces. Very tender and delicious, would definitely recommend. Then I had Fresh Fish Tacos, they were alright. I didn’t care for the cheese and would have preferred a more simpler taco with just the fish and fruit salsa. Also it was a bit heavy on the cream sauce… My Husband had the poke salad and he was happy with it. Our server was very nice and stopped by several times to make sure we were okay. If I came here again I would probably just stick with the drinks and an app, go somewhere else for dinner.

The family and I came here for lunch around 1:00pm on a Sunday. I made reservations online, because I just don’t like taking my chances in long wait times. My husband doesn’t like to wait. So we leave. And I go hungry. But I digress. We were sat immediately on the first level by the bar(there’s an upstairs too) and we had the best view of the ocean out of all the restaurants we ate on in Maui! It’s literally RIGHT on the ocean and you can hear and see the waves crashing from our table. But let’s be honest, we really came here for their $ 5 Mai Tai Happy Hour. Happy Hour in the middle of the day? Sold! My husband and I each had two and they were great! Happy Hour runs until 5:00pm. Food was just average. We had their Fried Artichoke appetizer($ 6.50) which was pretty good, no complaints! My husband had the Ahi Tuna Tacos($ 15) which he liked, but they were very small and you didn’t get much fish. You won’t fill up on these if you’re hungry! I got the Upcountry Arugula Salad which had avocado, beets, shaved parmesan, etc. and I thought it was good, but just like the rest of our meal, nothing spectacular. Service was ok, but our waiter lacked personality. I definitely think it would have brought out whole dining experience up a notch if service was better. Kind of disappointing. Recommended for a nice casual lunch with Mai Tai’s and a killer view.

We came here on a date night and we were not let down! Out waitress, Sammy, did a great job and was very friendly. Right after we got there, a table by the water opened up and she helped us move to that table. After getting our new table, we were torn on the appetizer and asked Sammy about the sashimi($ 17) vs the calamari($ 15). She highly recommended the sashimi — which she said is caught daily — so we went with it! It was awesome! Our was about 12 pieces, so a solid portion for the price. It came with ginger, wasabi, soy sauce, etc. In addition, they come around with bread service, which is warm ciabatta bread with Hawaiian sea salt butter. The bread is so flippin good… and the butter is top notch! For the entrees, I had the beer battered mahi mahi(fish and chips — $ 26). It was a solid 8oz piece of mahi mahi, but still felt overpriced at $ 26. It was really good, but I’d look elsewhere on the menu next time. The fries were ok, but ask for the maui onion mashed potatoes instead — they are crazy good! My wife had the scallops($ 34) — which she is still raving about. There were 5 large scallops and a generous serving of the maui onion mashed taters. She said she would definitely get this again and highly recommends it! Drinks are a bit expensive — but that’s what you get on the water maui. Figure $ 10+ for anything with alcohol. Pop/soda comes in at about $ 3.75 each, but with free refills Be sure to check the info on the tables. We’re got a couple of free pops(soda) for posting a picture on their Facebook page. You could also get a free side or deserts. Definitely worth checking out! We had a great time here and the service was great. We will certainly consider the lahaina fish company next time we are in town!

Mai Tai $ 5 Happy Hour until 5pm — they mix one of my favourite two on the island. And dangerous! We sit in the lounge usually, it’s close to the bar, and you can order from the regular menu. The menu has a good variety, and the dinner menu has more gluten free options than lunch. I do seem to come here pretty much for the Mai Tai’s and sashimi though, and the roasted vegetables. This year the chef was serving roasted brussels sprouts. They looked and smelled great. We didn’t have a chance to try them, but next visit! My partner can dine on regular food, and he did very much enjoy the bread. It’s still as good as the first time we visited. Our server recommended the appetizer size scallops for him to try, and they smelled lovely, he said they tasted great, but they were a bit pricey. I had hoped there would be a few more on the plate for the price, but, when in paradise… They have fish specials every day depending on the catch — nice touch. I like to have local food if I can when I travel, and the server did seem to know his fish. They offer gluten free soy sauce for sashimi — and it’s one of my favourite brands as well. Don’t see it in the gluten free variety in Canada very often, Yamasa. I’ve brought a bottle home before. It’s a glass bottle — if you do find one in the grocery store to bring one home, don’t drop it on your tile floor. There will be tears. And glass. Sunsets from the dining room can be spectacular, but know that the sun will set behind Lanai — you won’t see it hit the horizon, but when it lights up, it lights the sky up beautifully. Look down… into the water. There are GIANT fish and a huge variety of them too!

Super friendly, funny, and charismatic staff. Nice oceanside view during the day. They serve soft butter with hawaiian sea salt to put on your warm ciabatta bread! We ordered the steam clams, calm chowder, and ahi poke tacos. The ahi tacos are deconstructed which was convenient so you can add the amount of stuff to your liking. The steam clams were light and not too fishy. The prime rib was cooked perfectly to each persons’ preference. Free dessert for any celebratory night(birthday, anniversary, etc) plus special discounts when you use social media! I knocked one star for their dessert. It wasn’t unforgettable like everything else. Definitely worth trying when you’re in Maui!

Sehr schönes Ambiente, mit direktem Blick auf das Meer. Perfekter hawaiianischer Flair! Sehr freundlicher und sehr herzlicher Service. Tolle Auswahl an regionalen Fischspezialitäten. Direkt vom Meer auf den Tisch. Fachlich perfekt zubereitet.
