The food there is simply Amazing. and the service is tip
far the best restaurant on Maui.

Loved the diver scallops. The goat cheese salad was also good. My cousin loved his filet mignon as well and the mashed potatoes that came with the dish had an amazing bold layered flavor. They were some of the best mashed potatoes we have ever had. The bread and butter is not to be missed either, the garlic butter is delightful. The service is very attentive and efficient. Dinner here will cost about 40 – 100 $ per entrée. The restaurant is charming.

When on Maui, this is a MUST.
Reservations are recommended, and you will see why.
The food, presentation and people are too notch, yet not stuffy and overbearing.
If you’re not a lamb lover, this is the one place you’ll actually eat it.
Each salad, steak and seafood dish is unique into themselves.

Ladies & Gentlemen… If you have a palate for delicious, flavorful cuisine, you have arrived! Fine dining at its best! I’m certain you will appreciate & savor every bite!

The price to eat here is expensive, but well worth it! The presentation & portions of food are just right. The flavor’s from the various dish’s we ordered were succulent; down right OUTSTANDING! There was no cover up using salt and/​or sauces.
This nights chef prepared us amazing, delicious food. Starting from the appetizers to the dessert’s. Our food was EXCELLENT!!!
THE SERVICE
We were immediately greeted by our courteous, attentive head waiter SERGIO & his assistant ERIC.
SERGIO’s communication was clear. Eric had a great sense of humor. Sergio was helpful & knowledgable about the tastes & ingredients of the food & drinks we were curious about. Sergio made great drink & food suggestions for us, creating lots of enthusiasm for us as we sat & waited for our drinks/​food to arrive.
All of Sergio’s suggestions exceeded our expectations. Believe me, my husband & I are from San Francisco; we know scrumptious, fresh food & professional delightful service when it happens. This is definitely a 5 restaurant & plan to return to enjoy other dish’s. So happy to share this memorable experience!

AMAZING! Everyone I was with was happy with the food they ordered. I got the surf and turf. ½ Lobster w filet. YUM! Pricey, but worth it!

The staff was very friendly and on point. There was an issue with a water leak during dinner and the staff moved quickly to adjust, adapt and keep the experience amazing.
The food was great from the appetizers to dessert. Memorable meal for sure.

Still amazing, almost 10 years later. When my wife and I planned our visit to Maui, the Lahaina Grill was one of the two restaurants that went into the agenda well in advance. We opted to end the year on a high note, so we booked a 6pm reservation on New Years Eve. The restaurant was decorated with elegance and beauty, gold and black balloons floated loose across the ceiling with lots of sparkle all around. As usual, the staff was awesome (even while sharing their New Years experience with us patrons). The food was also great (though some items were better than others). All in all, it was a wonderful experience which solidified why we fell in love with this restaurant so long ago.
Thai spring rolls — These were alright, but not amazing. Nice and toasty/​crispy with quality ingredients, but a little bland (even with subsequent dipping sauce).
Corn soup — This was too bland as well, so we had it returned and substituted for the Buffula salad.
Buffula salad — Amazing! Basically a stacked caprese salad with lots of tomato, mozzarella, and delicious balsamic tang. Great textures and flavors throughout.
Short rib — A fantastically tender portion of very flavorful beef with mashed potatoes and veggies. This was delicious.
White fish special — I don’t recall the type of fish that was the special, but it was also very well prepared and sat above a bit of risotto.
Crème brûlée — A wonderfully textured and flavored confection. The crisp sugar on top was crafted in such a way that it wasn’t burnt, and the crème was very sweet with all of the vanilla bean.
This was a lovely meal and we look forward to the next time we get to visit Maui so that we can dine here again :-)

I was very happy I went to Lahaina Grill for a very special family dinner celebrating our wedding.
The place is situated a very nice area of Lahaina. The décor is fabulous. We were all amazed that they already reserved us the most intimate table for such a celebration. The waitstaff were very polite and professional. They even took a very nice family picture that they sent us by email later.
The food was amazingly delicious and so was the wine.
we will definitely go back there when a vacation will be offered.

All around excellence. If you are looking for high-​end dining experience while in Maui there’s no question you should eat at LAHAINA GRILL.
The other half and I were staying in Kaanapali and had made a reservation at Mama’s Fish House but after realizing it was an hours drive from West Maui we found a closer solution for our going away dinner on Maui as we celebrated our 25tj anniversary.
We has The «Cake walk» (for $ 25 it’s overrated) and the sweet corn soup (excellent!) as appetizers and then he had the opakapaka special ($ 50) and I had he meatballs ($ 40). We also ordered two sets of vegetables (grilled beans with almonds and the beets). The portions were substantial and everything was astonishing good, all presented with EXCELLENT service.
Despite being relatively stuffed we split the Kauai Pie for dessert, which was an excellent suggestion by our server. My only regret is that we didn’t know about Lahaina Grill earlier in our trip to Maui so we could have eaten here more than once!

Fuimos para celebrar cumpleaños y no nos equivocamos. El lugar es lindo, prefiero por lejos merrimans, en lhai a grill las mesas estan muy cerca y es muuuy ruidoso. El servicio es excelente, como hablamos español nos mandaron meseros que hablaban nuestro idioma, de todos modos lo que es servicio, en otros paises estamos acostumbradosa otra cosa, en usa les encanta que el mesero les hable y haga reir y pregunten mil veces si esta todo bien… Para mi eso no suma, prefiero que me dejen en paz los meseros… Pero es algo cultural, no dudo que algunos coinciden conmigo
La comida: pedimos paka paka o como se escriba y ahi! Un espectaculo la presentacion y la calidad de lq comida. Tomamos dos copas de vino y postre el triple berry pie que estaba muy bueno. El total de la cena sin propina fue usd $ 150.

Thursday night dinner and we didn’t make a reservation which was a huge mistake. 2 hr wait tjme! We actually ended up waiting believe it or not (patience can be my virtue lol)…
The food was good! We ordered four items and we were genuinely happy with three of the four which is a solid 75%!
Sweet corn soup: very tasty! Would get it again.
Seafood special: pink snapper with asparagus risotto. This is not listed on the menu but I would definitely ask!
Wagyu beef ravioli: this was actually an appetizer but I asked for it to be brought out as a dinner entrée. Comes with three ravioli and was very filling.
Green beans: steamed and topped with some chopped almonds for $ 9! I could have done this myself. Wish they had seasoned it a bit, even with just some salt and pepper or something. We thought it was going to come stir fried.
Overall, our meal cost us $ 98 which isn’t horrible for a $$$$ restaurant hah. Customer service was great! Small details like refilling our water did not go unnoticed. Great job guys!

Ich entschied mich für die Meatballs, gestartet hatte ich mit dem Rinds-​Carpaccio. Beides wahr ausgezeichnet und ist nur zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind hoch aber dennoch angemessen.
