In an area where there isn’t a lot to eat, you would think a place would do everything they can to make business profitable. Well, unfortunately for ledgedale bbq pit they have failed. We went there a few weeks ago to grab some food. Went in and no one was at the counter. Stood there for about 10 mi s before anyone came to help us. Strike one. We looked over the menu and decided to try the bbq. Since they are a bbq pit, you think it’d be their speciality. Asked to order a few items, and we’re told by the rude hostess that they were out. Strike two. Fast forward a few weeks. Just tried to place an order and the number is out of service. Strike three. So sorry, not sorry ledgedale. You lost two full time residents business.

On tuesday we were the only ones there. Food wa s good but service was terrible. No one a sked us in everyting was ok. No one asked us for drink refills. We had to find someone to pay. Couldnt wait to get to the car where we had some bottled water. I understand busoness is slow but maybe business is slow because of your poor service.

It was ok. My fried twinkies and oreos weren’t cooked all of the way. Maybe that was a one time thing. Didn’t try any other foods.

I went their again today, midweek, still wonderful food, less of a choice than on the weekend, but still a great selection of specials and menu items galore. I had some chili to take home, and the chicken dinner, both were delicious. I am going to start taking the chili to go more often as I love their chili. Was a cozy meal with my Dad who raved about their Italian Wedding Soup. He’s Italian, so I guess he would know!

Food is below average. I’d take the time to drive 10 min to get to hamlin for good food.
