Pecos Bill is a solid choice for quick service at the Magic Kingdom. The menu has changed over the years, and swayed away from standard Americana toward a more Tex-Mex-centric menu, and I think that’s an improvement, especially since burgers are available at so many other quick service venues around the park. The toppings bar is true winner here, making this a Disney-fied Chipotle in some ways. The guacamole is also free! Did you hear that? FREE! I realize the beloved«plastic cheese» sauce is no longer available, but there’s really nothing we can do about that, other than move on an appreciate the joy of free guac. I really enjoyed the beef burrito, but will say it was far to full in a relatively small tortilla to be able to roll it up into an actual burrito(it was also somewhat messily assembled). I was quite content eating it open faced, piled high with toppings from the bar. Along with Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Ray’s, Pecos Bill is definitely one of my favorite quick service options here, and one I plan on returning to.

I had Southern Chicken salad and it was great!!! I used Quick meal plan and Chicken salad, bottle of water and churros were included. Also, they have self-service counter where you can get guacamole, salsa, jalapeño, roasted corns and cheese. Their chicken was moist and churros was little bit hard but I assume it was because I ate when it gets cold. Overall, I satisfied their meal.

Extremely average burger for $ 15. But hey, that’s Disney. The ground beef on the taco burger was basically cafeteria-grade. I ate it anyway because I was hungry and it was around.

Pecos Bill was perfectly fine Tex-Mex food. I enjoyed what I had, so did the rest of my family, but nothing blew me away. There’s plenty of seating, inside and out. But beware, as there is really only one choice of dessert here, if you are on the dining plan you may find yourself saying, «Wow, this is a lot of churros».

I visited Pecos Bill on my last trip to Disney and it was just not good. They recently changed the menu, so I was curious about the new offerings. The new menu has a Mexican flare to it, including nachos, a fajita platter, a taco burger, and more. I decided to try the nachos and get them with chicken instead of beef. The nachos were just awful. Normally, nachos arrive with the cheese melted, guacamole on top, and everything nice, warm, and mixed together. These nachos arrived hardly warm, nothing was on top, and not mixed together. I had to visit a counter with sides that I wanted added. While this may sound like a good idea, it wasn’t. I had to add everything separately which didn’t make the nachos taste like regular nachos. It was falling apart the entire time I was eating it. To make matters worse, I got nauseous afterwards. The only good thing Pecos offers is french fries, besides that, I would visit some place else.

This place suffices, but it’s not something I’d actively seek out again when I return to magic kingdom. It smelled better from the outside than it actually tasted. The air conditioning was a nice relief but the place was completely packed even in the additional seating. Even though our chairs didn’t have back support, we were still lucky to have a table. I got a fajita platter which came with beef, chicken, rice, beans, peppers, and onions. I didn’t touch the latter 3. It’s a decent amount of food for 3 small tortillas, with cheese, salsa, sour cream, and other sides available in a self-serve bar. I just don’t know if it was worth $ 15 plus tax, especially when it wasn’t bad tasting but it really reminded me of my high school cafeteria’s Mexican food. If I ate there again I’d probably try a burger.

This is a very underrated restaurant on Disney property. The fajita items are superb and the endless guac is a real highlight. Also, prices are reasonable.

Not a bad Mexican place to eat. I ordered the Spicy beef fajita’s and they were not too shabby. for a counter service restaurant in Disney. They have a really good fixin’s bar that really fills ya up! I’d recommend this place for a decent sit-down lunch with the family. The cost was pretty much on par with every other disney restaurant.

I would give 3.5 stars if I could but just doesn’t deserve the four stars. Biggest MINDBLOWINGCON: cheese less nachos. Just in case you didn’t catch it … Nachos … Without… melted CHEESE. In my book that is NOT a nacho. When I asked why I was told the processed cheese wasn’t healthy… Um ?? Duh. Your point? 11.99. For something that doesn’t deserve the name nacho seems outrageous to me but my grandma wanted them so I bought it. Pro: a topping bar with shredded cheese, guacamole, limes, 2 dif types of salsa, jalapeños, banana pepers, sour cream, and onion . Over all we were disappointed to not have melted cheese or it’s equally acceptable processed liquid gold(NACHOCHEESE) on the nacho, but the bar almost made up for it. I tasted the«nacho» it wasn’t bad not worth the money but whatever.

What they heck sick disgusting food. Why did we eat here? $ 25 for a wet what they call a burrito and gross nachos. If I wasn’t in Disneyland I would have been more pissed but how can you be mad here?! I was for a few minutes after I ate it. Seriously both meals gross and the free water tastes like sewage! What the hell! I don’t even give it a star!

Pesos Bill’s is just OK. It does the trick if you are really hungry like we were in Magic Kingdom where dining choices seem to be few and far between. We found the meat to be really salty though. One benefit is the sauce bar — they had every type of salsa, sauce, peppers etc to dress your food which is yummy and fun. Also, compared to some of the other places, they have their system down. The food comes out fast and fresh which is a bonus given how crowded this place gets. If you are looking for cheap, fast eats with a fun twist(the pepper bar) — you should check it out! My daughter Millie loved her mac and cheese too.

Stopped here for a random bite to eat, and didnt regret it for a minute. My wife and i split a fajiti platter which was plenty for the 2 of us. The chicken was spiced so well, and everything tasted so fresh and not greasy.

It’s Disneyworld so you know you are going to end up paying an arm and leg with a few toes to afford anything here. But out of all the restaurants in the magic kingdom I will recommend this one for the all you can eat toppings. We ordered the steak fajita platter and it was a good size. I mean if you are going to pay $ 15 bucks for one entrée might as well be able to drown it in salsa and sour cream lol That what my boyfriend and I did we shared between the both of us and was full from it using the corn salsa as a side. We happened to go right when lunch started so it wasnt too bad of a wait. The food was not bad, it really did taste like a chipotle burrito bowl. There was plenty of seating and a restroom inside the restaurant which was convenient because I got salsa all over my hands. Definitely our go to place for lunch here! And guacamole is super yums and fresh! And did I mentioned that was all you can eat! Next time bring your own chips so you can enjoy some complimentary guc! Ok maybe its not complimentary but do come here! I haven’t tried the other restaurants but this place seems worth while for the amount of food for the price compare to other places.

I’ve been to Disney dozens of times as an annual passholder, but for some reason, kept passing this up. Finally we gave it a try and ended up going two days in a row. The fajitas were excellent. After you get your food, there’s a counter behind you that lets you choose your own toppings so you get exactly as much of what you want with no waste. The mini churros dessert was the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy. We ate here while using the QSDDP. The cost was justified. There was more than enough food to keep you going throughout the day. The best time to go is while the parade is passing by. Everyone is outside, so you can get in and sit anywhere without a wait.

I like the fact that you can add your own toppings and aides to your meal! Imagine Chipotle but you put as much toppings to your heart’s desire! You know guacamole can be overpriced so take advantage here. They serve Tex-mex and burgers. The food is actually pretty good for fast service. Come during off peak hours to go through the lines quicker.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café is a counter service restaurant in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. In 2015 it converted from a burger place to a Tex-Mex restaurant.(A Southwest Burger has been brought back by popular demand, but was not yet available when we dined there.) I selected the Chicken Fajita Platter. It was not bad and included three tortillas and ample chicken to fill them. Rice and beans accompanied the meal. The chicken was not spicy at all, so one needs to add hot sauce to taste.(Hot sauce packets are available at the condiments counter.) The big attraction at Pecos Bill’s is the fixing bar. Here, you can add cheese, onions, salsa, jalapeños and more to your meal. Prepare for a mob scene, though! There is much crowding and jostling for position at the fixings bar as everyone tries to get to it at once! The food was all right, but it is the very noisy and crowded scene that pushes my review down to two stars. What bedlam at 7:00 p.m. Jostling for the fixing bar, jostling for seats in the dining room. There is no upper lever area like at Columbia Harbor House. I’ll try another Magic Kingdom restaurant next time.

Pecos Bill Café turned out to be an above average use of Disney Dining Plan counter service credits. We got a Southwest Chicken Salad and a Fajita Chicken Combo, which was enough to give 4 people a light yet delicious lunch. Beware that the fresh jalapeño pepper that is served with the salad packs some major heat. There is a salsa bar which features plenty of cheese, sour cream, guacamole, salso, Pico de gallo, corn relish, and more. The fajita combo features 3 warm tortillas, pepper/onion mix, black beans, chicken, and rice. Dessert choices were a little weak and the frozen strawberry drink was a little too sweet for my taste but chocolate milk is also available.

I would argue that the new menu at Pecos Bill is a slight improvement over the old menu, but it still isn’t the optimal quick service dining experience in the Magic Kingdom.(That would be reserved for Be Our Guest.) Up until 10/2015, Pecos Bill was a burger joint with a toppings bar and multiple adjacent sprawling rooms where patrons could sit. The multiple sprawling rooms are still there, and the toppings bar has been revised for their new menu, which revolves around Tex-Mex /Mexican dishes, including burritos, fajitas, and more. You can see the whole menu on Disney’s website or . They also feature a nifty little jug that is themed around the adjacent«Country Bear Jamboree» attraction. These looked kind of cool(but I’d kind of hate to carry it around the rest of the day!) The speed of the lines to order and get your food here go between«slow» and«intolerable.» It seems like whenever I eat here, I wait at least 20 minutes from when I get in line to order to when I get my food. This is WAY too long. That’s because you have to go through 2 lines to get your food – one to order, one to wait for them to serve you. Sometimes, on really busy days, they’ll instate a «seating gestapo»(that’s what I call them) where they make you wait in a third line. Then, they tell you where to sit. This can be really, really frustrating. Between Pecos Bill and Tortuga Tavern(which is essentially«next door» in Adventureland), I still would have to recommend Tortuga Tavern. You can get a good beef burrito there, or a taco salad, but they offer a cookies and cream gelato, which is DELICIOUS and one of the best quick service desserts on property, in my opinion.(The cupcakes at Hollywood Studios take that distinction, if you’re wondering.) Note that you can get churros at Pecos Bill, but the Churros at Pecos Bill were only«okay.» They are short stubby ones that come with some rich chocolate dipping sauce. They weren’t super fresh when I got them.(Instead of eating the churros here, I’d recommend getting the churros from a snack cart outside before getting them at Pecos Bill.) However, if Tortuga Tavern is open the day you visit the park, this means that you have unfortunately picked one of the more busy days in the park… so, Tortuga Tavern being open is a mixed blessing. All in all, it will do in a pinch, but before hitting Pecos Bill, I’d go to Columbia Harbor House or Tortuga Tavern first.

Quick Solid Lunch Spot in the Old West Simple menu(5 items) with a choice of 4 sides. Everything is sandwich/burger based with a south western flare to it. A standard lunch/dinner will cost you approximately $ 15 with a drink(no dessert). The chicken sandwich starts off a little dry, but the sauce kicks in about ¼ of the way through, which gives it a great kick. The cheese on was barely melted and there was bacon, but it wasn’t crispy. It was as limp as a wet noodle. Portions are reasonably sized. It will satisfy you until you eat again for dinner(or breakfast if you are eating here for dinner). A theme what will repeat often at Disney parks are the great fries. You expect to receive some lower quality potatoes and/or soggier fries at a theme park, but they are just plainly good. There are on the crispier side and rather thinly cut. On a hot day purchasing the frozen strawberry lemonade is mandatory. It is refreshingly tart that will give you brain freeze as you chug it down avoiding the sun. Overall Pecos is a nice place to visit for lunch because it isn’t too crowded and is nearby two great rides(Big Thunder and Splash Mountain). As for dinner, I would recommend a place a little more upscale for the adult crowd.

Pros: They have burgers and fries. They have a condiment bar with sandwich toppings and other stuff like sautéed mushrooms and onions. There is a lot of seating. Cons: They got our order all wrong and were missing items. Although there is a lot of seating, during lunchtime, it doesn’t feel like it. The employees weren’t too friendly — probably because they were so busy. The food is mediocre.
