The best coffee ever!!! I´ve tried the Mayan Mocha and the Caramel Machiatto. The best part is that all the coffees are organic! Every time I have to work in the area, I step by. Yuummmmmi!!!

Love this place. I always go here everyday after our work meeting. Get the coffee with a shot in it (considered a Red Eye). Love the quietness and quality of staff and coffee. Thanks for making my week every week!

Friendly staff and delicious, potent coffee! They have unusual items for a coffee spot including Turkish coffee and Persian tea, in addition to the usual coffee/​espresso drinks. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try. Super friendly staff too, very accommodating.

Won’t be going back here. Coffee was mediocre and scone was dried up and was difficult to swallow.

This is a great place to get coffee, a great muffin or pastry. The barista was so kind and welcoming. I had a Mayan Mocha and pumpkin spice muffin. Will definitely keep coming back!

I only come here when I feel like a cheat day to eat. That means cookies and muffins for me and treating my office. Cookies are pretty good and they have several different type of muffins.
Interesting to note that they have a Pistachio nut muffin that is actually all green it is delicious. The remainder are good for anytime you have a sweet tooth.
Only issue I have is that they sell everything there. And I’m not talking about just food. They sell some trinket jewelery and other accessories. Kinda like those car washes that sell too too much
Good place that closes too early

I found this little gem when I was visiting family in OC. By far one of my favorite spots to study! Such great ambiance. The service, food and the coffee are all good. The lighting and a few tables and outlets make it suitable for studying and it is not a crazy busy café. It even has a few outside seatings. Will definitely be back!

Really great coffee! I noticed they also have food if you’re hungry, but I go for their blended drinks and sometimes that delicious pastry ;)

Love Java Bakery! Excellent customer service, food, and drinks. Everything is made fresh and tastes amazing. I definitely recommend the wraps and iced tea or white mocha! The pastries are to die for as well.
The manager is especially sweet. Loved this place so much that I even tried to get a job there! ¹¹⁄₁₀ would recommend.

Java Bakery Café is always a delight to go to in the morning! I usually get the cold brew without creamer or sweetener but I tried the iced caramel macchiato with almond milk, which is what I usually get at starbucks but with coconut milk, and it blew theirs out of the water! I also got the chocolate croissant and it was boooomb. Every time I have visited JBC I have not been disappointed. Very friendly staff and very yummy baked goods equal very happy customer :)

Great local place that is locals should support. Coffee is good, cozy interior and nice patio area.
I wanted to add a review specifically for the German Black Forest chocolate cherry cake I recently got.
Absolute best quality European cake, fresh cherries, semi-​sweet shaved chocolate, fresh cream between the two layers. You can be proud to serve their pastries. Worth every penny of $ 20! Adding a picture here.

This location is kinda the location of death for coffeehouses. For God’s sake, a Starbucks failed here. But to fair, there is a bigger Starbucks that is down the street. Seattle’s Best, which I love, also failed here. So, when Java Bakery Café opened here I was a bit skeptical.
First off, I was thrilled that Java Bakery Café opens at 5:30 a.m. As someone who has to get to work early, that is a real plus. Walked in on my first visit and and saw a large array of bagels, muffins, pastries and sweets in their cases including Baklava. Giant Rice Krispy bars on the counter, too! Yum! Their cheese bagels are excellent here.
They have a wide array of coffee, tea and smoothies here. I like the fact that they have a wide array of iced coffee beverages for those times when I want a cold coffee drink. I have enjoyed the Iced Americano and cold brew. They have a lot of unique options like Turkish coffee, Persian tea, Mayan Mocha, etc.
They have a large lunch menu, which I have not tried yet. There are many options for sandwiches, wraps. paninis and salads
The staff is really nice here. I hope Java Bakery Café proves that a coffeehouse can make it in this location. I am looking forward to trying some of their lunch options later in the day some time.

I come here quite often when I head out to work. It’s really nice because I’m usually leaving the house by 5:30am and they actually open at 5:30am, even though here on Unilocal it says 6am. Their coffee is very good and always fresh. I’ve had different slices of cake and muffins and they are very good as well. My fave has to be the coconut cake, super moist, very rich and super yummy! This to me is a nice change from Starbucks. So if you’re up early and on the road and need a little caffeine for the drive, stop in grab yourself a cup o’ Joe and some goodies and be on your way!

This place wasn’t bad. I had the Mayan coffee with almond milk and it tasted exactly the way I anticipated it to. I’m not a good measure of coffee since I’m not a big coffee drinker though.
I like their array of options and their selection of pastries. I am pretty confused by this place though… They have an ethnic melting pot of pastries and coffee.
Service was kind of lackluster. We had to repeat our order 3x to the cashier.

Nothing too special here, very average. I really wanted to love this place since the display had so many great looking sweets. Cookies were good but tasted store bought, Macarons were too chewy and the Napoleon was average at best.
However, the coffee is not too bad and my boyfriend loved the house special bagel sandwich.

I worked for major cafés these past 10 years and I have to out out there this place is good… I enjoy the out patio… It’s near a jewelry shop so it’s pretty mellow where you can read a book but the cars pasting by don’t bother me. It’s not Santa Ana where there honking.
I got the cinnamon roll latte YUM… The pastries are good because there freshly made and you can see them off the oven rack.
The only thing I dislike (but they still deserve five stars) it’s hot in the bakery. Think it’s the vents.
Start a drink stamp card. They have great service here to.

Tried their house special bagel which consist of egg, cheese, sausage, and chipotle mayo. Got it with a jalapeño bagel. Wow, it’s really good! Definitely will be getting my breakfast bagels from here. Their soups are good too. Tried the chicken tortilla and meatball.
A good place for breakfast and lunch. I’m sad that Seattle’s best is not here anymore, but this place will do.

I do not consider myself a coffee aficionado, I know nothing between different roasts and can’t tell you the difference between all the Italian espresso variations. But, to my personal taste, Java Bakery Café makes some of the best lattes I have had and is one of my new go-​to places!
They serve organic coffee, pastries, desserts, breakfast, and lunch food options. I love that they have almond milk & soy milk as dairy substitutes (+ $ 0.60)
I’ve tried their Cinnamon Roll Latte, Ultimate Vanilla Latte, and Green Tea Latte (all iced and w/​almond milk) and they’ve all been wonderful– Cinnamon Roll Latte being my favorite! Creamy, perfect amount of espresso (so I don’t bounce off the walls), sweet, and they don’t skimp you with tons of ice. Also got an Everything Bagel w/​Cream Cheese and the bagel tasted like something from the grocery store so I’m not sure it was worth the price.
LOVE their drinks and hope to try out some of their pastries/​desserts in the future as it looks like they bake it there! Java Bakery, you have made an addict outta me!
TIP: They have a stamp card so pick one up! Buy 10 drinks and get 1 free!

Five stars for baked goods. One of the best scone I have had. Light, lots of fruit, crispy outside. Baked fresh on site for all baked goods. Really worth a trip if you like really good breakfast bakery stuff.
Coffee not so much. Nothing special. In a place that takes such good care to make really good baked items a little surprising the coffee was average at best.
In future I will hit my favorite coffee place and come here for a scone.
Nice atmosphere with lots of places to sit inside and outside. Great smells all around and on a nice sunny day a really quiet place to come.

Almost a perfect 5 stars. I would award 4.5 if possible. Extensive selection of baked goods. Fresh bagel. Oatmeal appears to have been made with milk which yes, made it delicious, but as I avoid dairy, I would have liked to have known that before ordering.
I had plain coffee to which I was able to choose from almond or soy milk to add. The coffee was full bodied and smooth.
Both my coffee and oatmeal were served in a disposable container. When my coffee buddy ordered hers she specified her preference for a ceramic mug, which I would have preferred. Now I know to ask up front.
Many sandwich, salad and soup options on the menu, but only saw one thing I would order (garden salad) to keep me on my vegan diet, so I’m not likely to come here except for breakfast.
