The place looks clean but the food service sucks. They serve very little food and charge extra for their shrimp items compare to other locations I have been at. Some of their food Items looks like it’s been sitting there for a Long time. I asked for two items shrimp and teriyaki chicken but they serve like it’s coming out of their pocket. When the the guy served me he then took back ONE shrimp as he felt he gave me one too many. I was not happy with their service. Their food is not cheap but they make you regret stopping by. Unhappy with the place

I love Panda Express. We have several near me. I ate at this one a few days ago. Food is usually nice and fresh all the way up to closing time. Friendly staff too. I usually order teriyaki chicken– they give you more per portion than other outlets so this is my fave store !

Jose should not be a manager. I’ve now been waiting for my food for ONEHOUR. I called in the order almost two hours before and I showed up late and still waited for the food. Jose couldn’t explain to me why, he just mumbled saying okay give me 15 minutes. He said that to me every 15 minutes. So much for customer service

I usually love Panda’s foods. But this El Toro location gives you so little foods. Server must be told to control the amount to put in plates so it takes so long to make one plates. That’s why the waiting lines are always long. Not because the foods are good, but because server carefully controlling the way they scoop foods, that takes time. If they will be generous with quantity, they will have more customers for sure.

Panda Express is our go to place for take-out Chinese food. They actually use decent ingredients. No MSG, no tenderizer, not overly greasy nor salty, even the soya sauce is preservative free. It’s probably the most healthy Chinese food around. At this price point, you really can’t complain. I tend to stick with the basic stuff like Broccoli Beef and Mushroom Chicken. Those are harder to screw up. Chow mein and fried rice are not easy to cook right — they either end up to be too greasy or a soggie mess. I was pleasantly surprised by the orange chicken that it wasn’t 90% dough and 10% meat typical of Americanized Chinese food. Also, unlike Pei Wei the vegetables are actually cooked. Seriously, even if you don’t mind getting a salad who wants to eat raw broccoli and zucchini! They keep a very small batch of food at the counter, the turn around is really high because of the huge line up even on weekdays. We always order online to avoid the line.

We showed up just at closing time and they hooked me up with great service with a smile. No rushing me out the door. The food was minimal but they made it up to us. My pregnant girlfriend really wanted Panda so I’m glad she wasn’t disappointed.

I had Panda Express for the first time about 10 years ago, and I thought it was absolutely horrible compared to the mom & pop shop Chinese fast food places. I finally decided to give them a try again, expecting to be disappointed. I stepped into this place last year. It was pretty busy, so the food wasn’t sitting for too long. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with how good it was. This doesn’t come close to the real deal like mom’s cooking, but for Chinese fast food, it hits the spot. I’ve been here every 6 – 8 weeks for the past year, and it’s been consistently good.

I used to like panda express, but like other restaurants around OC I’ve noticed a dramatic decrease in terms of the quality and quantity of food you get. But this location in particular seems to be very inconsistent in terms of the portions and one of my favorites(the orange chicken) has been terrible recently. I’m talking mostly batter every time. However my biggest problem with this location is not the food itself, but that there are always huge lines literally out the door even when it’s not peak dinner hours and even when you get to the front of the line to order they run out of multiple items at a time and then you end up waiting even longer for them to replenish what’s missing. Too much confusion and food that is nothing special. Perhaps better management would be the key but I think I’m done with Panda for now.

Went in and had a big order while Panda was super busy. Bianca and Natile were very helpful and was able to get us in and out quickly. Great service and food was excellent as usual.

What the actual fuck. They ran out of eggs and replaced it with corn without saying anything. Wtf. Like what the actual fuck is this.

This place is just a 2⁄5. It’s not just this location but it’s Panda Express in general. Go there once and order walnut shrimp and see how little you get and how much you actually pay then you see what I mean. The quality of food is OK but quantity, well if you want to get full finish your rice because the little meat they give you won’t fill you up.

This is my first time visiting a panda express I am a somewhat connoisseur of Asian food after traveling to Vietnam a times and eating Chinese food at capital seafood in Irvine quite often I was actually quite shocked by the value and it being a corporate establishment they were very fresh organize hard-working staff and I would definitely eat here again.

Walking in I couldn’t help but notice how clean the establishment was. It was late afternoon and the restaurant was quite empty. There was a lady wiping stuff up, a lady at the cash register, and the manager(blue shirt) who greeted me as I walked in the door. At least I think she was greeting me, because she seemed preoccupied looking around from left to right and turning around in circles like a robot as she said«hello would you like to…» without finishing the sentence. I said«hello» back and proceeded to order what I usually order, but was surprised to see something called ‘Bacon Orange Chicken’ for the first time on display. I said«oh, what’s bac…» when she scooped a half serving of chow mein onto my plate and walked away. She greeted a guy in a tool belt at the entrance to the kitchen, and then invited him behind the line to look at something in the back… As they walked back towards me I said«hello!» with the big smile and the guy in the tool belt said«hi!» I think he thought I knew him or something, and that was kind of cool that he played along… The blue shirt manager then snapped at the cashier to do do something. After standing there for a good 20 seconds, the lady wiping stuff up saw what was happening and then proceeded to explain how great the ‘Bacon Orange Chicken’ really was by saying«sample?» I said«no thank you, forget it» and ordered what I usually order from the Panda: chow mein, orange chicken, and broccoli beef… The cashier then walked up, apologized for the manager’s rudeness, and completed my order. The food seemed as if it was sitting out for quite a while, which is expected when it’s not busy, and today the taste was pretty average. With exception to the manager clearly missing the mark I’d say this was a pretty average visit to Panda Express.
