Bobby’s burger palace reminds you of a cool 70’s inspired burger joint. They take how you like your burger done very seriously. There are 5 different intensities you can specify for the patty. The burgers have always turned out perfect. Make sure to crunchify your burger, try the chipotle ketchup, and get a shake.

Awesome place to eat. Burgers were fresh and flavorful. Been here a few times. Its about a 40 minute drive, but its definitely worth it! Cool modern seating. Fast service.

I wanted to like this place a lot but it’s not that great for a burger. I had the blue burger which was OK but the meat was not juicy or flavorful. The bun was soggy and too soft no texture for a good burger. The bun reminded me of Wonder bread just cheAp and hardly worthy of any burger. The onion rings were good tasting cooked right but they were greasy so that was a bummer. Sweet potato fries were average tasted like any other sweet potato fries. Haven’t had the shake recently but it was pretty good although somewhat overpriced the last time I had it. They need to change the meat and the buns in this place. I’m surprised a place like this doesn’t have an organic beef option considering it’s pretty well-established these days that non-grass fed meat is basically a death sentence eaten regularly.

This is by far the best burger joint I’ve been too and believe you me when I say I have experienced my fair share of quality burgers. From the famous west coast In-N-Out to Shake Shack, Bobby’s can not be topped. My all time favorite is the buffalo burger. It is no longer on the menu but they will make it whenever it is requested and don’t forget to crunchified your burger(a layer of potato chips to add to the delish taste not to mention calories but who’s counting anyway). Oh and did I mention their milkshakes. I’m a big chocolate lover so their dark chocolate shake is my first pick. It is so rich it’s like a little piece of heaven in a straw.

Again a chain restaurant serving decent food but again it’s the same as any other one you come across… Nothing out of the ordinary and a bit pricey for a Mall location.

I this place! I can always count on Bobby’s to serve me a good burger, milkshake, and fries because it is consistently good! I love getting their crunchified cheeseburgers, along with their addicting french fries! If you want a milkshake, I would recommend the mint chocolate chip! I totally recommend it, and also, it is the least crowded during weekday afternoons:)

For the area it is the best burger place, good selection of burgers. It’s a nice place to grab a bite while shopping.

Wow. Rave reviews for this joint was a surprise. We were all looking forward to try out Bobby’s new place but the group consensus is that it fell short. We were a group of 5 and we agreed that burgers were overpriced and tasteless. Sorry. 1) ordering process was slow, the menu was way above your head, hard to read sign and awkward entrance area 2) the dining area just did not feel comfortable. A bunch of tables and these snakelike counters in the middle are setup for customers to secure once they place their orders and given a number. Just did not feel right sitting at any angle at the counters and the chair placements were off 3) we ordered the classic palace burger(some ordered beef and others chicken). Unlike shake shack where you can taste the beef, the burgers seem bland and not fresh. The sauces were not that great either. The onion rings were over fried. The bacon cheese fries were mediocre and way too soggy. 4) once you finish you leave and not expected to clean up table. Again different from the norm. It. meant constantly waiting for the staff to clear the area. No I am sticking to shake shack in garden city despite the drive.

We don’t live far from Bobby’s and have been there a bunch of times. My wife likes it more than I do. I feel it has potential but needs some tweaking to make it better. Cons: 1. Burgers need salt and pepper. They usually taste pretty bland. 2. The burgers need a sear or charcoal flavor. They are grilled but the temps of the grill are not hot enough to get flavor in to the burger. 3. Bacon needs to be crispy. We sometimes get the«heart attack burger» with bacon and an egg. The bacon is not always crispy like it has been sitting around waiting to be used as a topping. 4. The buns need to be put on the grill. The buns are just OK they don’t really add much to the burger eating experience. However, I feel if they could put the bun on the grill it would give it more flavor. Usually I get a cold bun even when I ask for it to be heated. A seven grain or wheat bun would also be a good option for those who don’t want to eat white bread. Personally I would love to see several bun options including sourdough. 5. Some of the seats are ripped and broken. I think they may have fixed the rips but some of the seats still need to be repaired. Pros: 1. I love the fries. They are not overly salted and they are tasty. I haven’t tried the sweet potato fries but my mom likes them. 2. Service is good and the people who work their are friendly. 3. I never have waited to long to get seated. 4. Milk shakes are great. 5. They added some new salads to the menu which is a great idea. They should offer the addition of a burger patty for 3.00. That would get you a salad and some protein for about 13.00. 6. Burgers are cooked to order. 7. I usually don’t like pickles but Bobby’s has great pickles. I want to revise this review and up the starts because there really isn’t any great burger places that cook to order. I feel with a little tweaking to the menu and cooking techniques Bobby’s could be the go to place for burgers on Long Island.

3.5 stars Bobby’s Burger Palace delivers a good burger for a decent price. I’ve had a couple of their offerings, and I haven’t been disappointed yet. They’re not the most mindblowing burger, and I think that I prefer the less glamorous offerings of Five Guys and other burger joints, but the meat is good, the toppings are fresh, and the special burgers are interesting enough. The brunch burger is great and combines some of my favorite things in the whole world — burgers, eggs, and smoked bacon. I would have liked the egg to be a little bit more runny. The yolk was very well done. The philly cheesesteak burger comes loaded with cheese and onions, but I would have liked it if the onions were a little bit more cooked. My dining companions have liked the Dallas burger and the Carolina burger, but they weren’t loaded with toppings to my liking. I’ve never gotten my burgers crunchified, because it seems silly to have someone add crushed potato chips to my burger when I can just do that for myself at home, but I think I’ll try should I ever find myself here again. The fries are pretty good as well. I’m not a fan of really any of the sauces they have out on the tables. I haven’t tried the spiked milkshakes, but the plain old vanilla shake that my boyfriend and I shared was super thick. It was a bit of a struggle to finish it. I can’t imagine trying to drink that shake with a ton of liquor added to it. As Daniel M. says, the ordering system is a little off-putting, and I have to agree. You come in, order, and sit down with a number. This is perfectly fine, but they way the restaurant is set up makes it a little awkward just because there’s not a lot of distance between the front door and the ordering counter. So if you aren’t sure what you want, you constantly have to tell incoming customers to cut ahead of you. But I do like the long bar tables, the décor that makes the restaurant look like a burger from top-to-bottom, and the really intense burger toppings photography.

I think this place has a tendency to get overhyped from the outside because it has Bobby Flay’s name on it, but to me, it’s just a nice, relatively gourmet burger chain. I actually quite like the experience here: you order and get a number, and then you just sit down anywhere to get served. They have benches and a really long S-curving table, and the people who bring your stuff out. It’s kind of an awkward system at first, because they set your table and bring everything, and you just kind of leave everything when you leave, but it’s just how it seems there. I don’t tip personally, but I think it’s pretty up to your discretion. Anyway, the burgers are all pretty solid, and they usually do a good job cooking it the way that you ask for. I’m personally a fan of the New Mexico and the Bobby Bleu, but I’m sure most of them are solid. They do the buns and cheese pretty well in particular I’ve found, and a lot of the burgers have interesting toppings that make for really nice food discoveries. Outside of that, I’m actually really fond of their fries. Their fries come with a dipping sauce that’s really fantastic – I think it’s some combination of buttermilk ranch and chipotle. To me, that’s what gives this place something worth coming back and getting every time. The burgers aren’t really special beyond any gourmet burger place, so I’d advise not going here getting too hyped about the name.

I wasn’t really impressed, I had the Chopped crunch salad with grilled chicken, my wife had Philly burger burger and butter milk onion ring. The price was very reasonable. The décor of the restaurant reminded me of chock full of nuts when I was a kid growing up in New York. Are used to love this place used to go there with my dad to buy me a hamburger french fries, and tell me don’t tell my sisters or he wouldn’t bring me back again. The food was ok I was expecting a little bit more it was a little late getting into the place. Some of the chairs were broken people were really rude putting the bags in the chairs so was hard to get seating.

Located on the outside of the Smithaven mall, BBP is a nice place to grab a quick bite. Although Bobby Flay’s name and face is plastered all over, there’s nothing fancy or pretentious about the place; it LD your basic burger joint. The young kids are friendly. The woman who took our order seemed confused about which items are gluten-free(very annoying). You’d think there would be an ingredient list book. Food: the milkshakes are definitely worth the caloric splurge. I had the pistachio– thick yet drinkable with a strong pistachio flavor(I hope it was the ice cream and not an extract). I love the burger options, which include beef, turkey, or chicken(but oddly no veggie). All burgers can be served over greens too for the GFers. The French fries(GF) are fresh cut but the sweet potato fries are frozen. I didn’t have them, but the buttermilk battered onion rings looked amazing. I had a turkey Philadelphia burger– very hot peppers, sautéed onions, and provolone. It was perfect. I think of come back if in the mall, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. Maybe if they had a gluten-free bun, veggie burger, and more knowledge about allergies.

My first time here. I had a Vegas Burger, ordered well done. Note to the cook: a well done burger does not mean it has to be dried out. Too bad, as except for the small size of the burger, it was tasty. The sweet potato fries were excellent. The right amount if crunch. Would I return? Yes, I always try to give a place a second chance. But for now… off to the mall for dessert.

Yay fley. I’ve been«crunchifying» life since I was a kid… in this instance it means potato chips on your burger…(try it on sandwiches too and thank me later) Bobby Flay has done it and come up with a great burger menu… take things in moderation and enjoy despite the semi-hefty price tag of one of these finalized suckers And there’s no way I’m going all the way to the mall, trying to find parking, & blowing money on these okay burgers.

I work nearby and come to Bobby’s once or twice a week for lunch. This place is great! I always get a Dallas(no slaw or pickle) and fries. Sometimes I’ll throw in a black and white or chocolate shake as well. The burgers are always cooked perfectly and the flavor on them is great. Every once and awhile the juices from the burger and the burger sauce causes a little bit of sogginess on the bun, but that’s pretty rare. The burger sauce is excellent. the fries are also great. They come with a fry sauce(think it’s mayo and ketchup) but the real treat is the chipotle ketchup you can find on the tables. This stuff is excellent. If you get a soda free refills seem permissible. The one strange thing I have about this is the tip situation I often don’t have cash on me. However, you pay when you order and there is no ability to add a tip to the receipt when you use a card. The servers bring you your food, silverware, and check back to make sure everything is okay. The only thing they don’t do is worry about your drink. That seems tippable to me. They should add an option to give a tip, or else let you pay when you’re finished. It would save the awkwardness of leaving and not having cash to tip, etc. Anyway this place is great! Haven’t tried one of the spiked milkshakes yet(yes this place serves alcohol apparently). It’s on my to do list!

I love BBP. The burger temps are always cooked perfectly. The fries are crisp and delicious and the fry sauce is my absolute favorite! Sweet potato fries(and sauce) are amazing as well. Also, the milkshakes do not disappoint! I always get one with my burger whenever I eat here. The spiked milkshakes are great too!

First off, let me start off by saying I had no idea this was one of Bobby Flay’s restaurants. I came here for the first time with my boyfriend to satisfy our tummies and I wasn’t disappointed. I had the LA burger with whole chicken breast and he had the brunch burger with beef. IT Was delish! We also got a side of fries and they were super good. The chipotle sauce was my favorite out d all the sauces. Cheap price, yummy food, can’t go wrong! Must try!!!

Pretty good burger joint for what it is. After my 2nd visit I decided to wait and see if the consistency of food held up before I wrote my review and they definitely delivered. I was surprised that BBP got such low ratings to be honest… Bobby Flay pretty much nailed it on this one, his style and cooking flare are reflected on their signature burgers/sammies on the menu. I love the fact that they have funky flavored milkshakes like coconut and pistachio(which is awesome btw) and contrary to other reviews I think the serving size is appropriate for the quality, those that said they’re not are probably used to the super sizes at your local fast food joints. Free refills on soft drinks is the cherry on top The fries and onion rings are pretty basic, nothing to rave about but the ample types of sauces make up for it. When you’re seated, you’re provided with 5 different sauce concoctions to play around with to see what suits your tastebuds. It’s Casual style dining where you order at the register and they provide you with a number and you pick your seat. The staff here are super friendly, always give service with a smile and are willing to answer any of your questions. That’s why I tend to tip as if I were at a restaurant. On my most recent visit I had: Their«Brunch Burger»: comes on a sesame seed bun with a beef patty, bacon, American cheese and a sunny side up egg. Another great thing is you get to choose the temp of the burger, whether you like your meat still moo-ing or burnt to a crisp? They’ll oblige… When that egg yolk breaks and oozes all over the burger you def get that umami flavor going on. Elbow licking good. Dallas style: I chose to have it with the seasoned chicken breast(you can have a turkey patty if you wanted) comes with coleslaw, Monterey Jack cheese, BBQ sauce and pickles. Another winner in my book. All in all a great local spot to grab a quick bite.
