I came to this church with my Grandparents on Sunday. It was a departure from our regular chuch in Quartz Hill. I was impressed upon pulling into the chuch lot. The building is old and white. Very much an old country church feel. There was a steeple and an entry directly below. They had what sounded like a real bell chiming to call the service to begin. The santuary is small and old wooden pews provide ample seating for the small community and its church members. We were greeted by nearly everybody there. They are a friendly bunch. After the service we were invited down to the basement level where refreshments were being served. There we spoke to the interim pastor for a few minutes. This was a good experience to have seeing how other churches function. Much of this felt familiar though there were some more contemporary features my family is not accustomed too. We prefer a more tradtional service with old hymns accompanied by either an organ or piano. Not guitars and a bass. Regardless, we all came together to worship God, a common denomenator in the church.
