The food here is amazing, recently my husband and I had date night and everything exceeded our expectations. The sushi is a must! I got the recommendation of the server for the Chilean Sea Bass and my husband got a Steak and everything was cooked to our expectations. We hardly had room but the desserts were fabulous. Our date night was awesome and great atmosphere!

Expensive Valentine’s Day dinner resulted in a mild case of food poisoning. Upon asking for a credit later that same day, the General Manager suggested my problem could be the flu. I’m no doctor, but I know what the results of bad fish are. I doubt that the GM is a doctor either.

It is very disappointing when a fine dining, high end restaurant made a mistake and the manager handled it poorly reflecting poor customer service. We sat at the bar area since we did not have a reservation and it would take us 45 min to be seated. We ordered appetizers and our individual entrees. I’m very detailed due to my mystery shopper background and observed the time of service. The appetizers came out in 17 min. The bar waitress was polite and friendly. We were happy with our drinks. However, the appetizer came out at the same time with the dinner rolls. When we finished our appetizers, we waited for an additional 57 minutes for our main course. While waiting, we asked for more dinner rolls due to hunger. My «Mixed Grill» consisted of mahi and salmon(luke warm) while the shrimp scampi and scallops were cold sitting in a pool of oil! I was fearful to complain since i did not want to wait further for them to warm up my food. So, I did not eat any of the shrimp or scallop. I ate a small bite of the fish. I was disgusted with the quality. Then, the manager showed up and acknowledged that he was informed by his staff that we have waited for a while for our food. Obviously, mistakes occurred in the kitchen and he was at our table to apologize. He handled it poorly. He told us that we were waited for a while. I told him 57 min. He corrected me stated, «more like 40 min»! I was dumbfounded with his remark. I was speechless at that time. He asked how was my food. I did not answer. My family responded that theirs were fine. He insisted that I let him on mine! He said I was tough! He later told us that desserts on the house; I responded politely that he did not have to do that and we did NOT want dessert. He ignored our comments! He brought over the desserts. My kid took one plate and I told the waiter that we don’t need the rest. The next thing you know, all the desserts were boxed and were put in the same bag with our leftovers! We were forced to eat something we do not want. The manager belligerently debated with us on our waiting time for main entrees! The quality of food is not comparable with the prices they charged as fine dining restaurant. Will never go back again. If you do, plan on eating before you go and be delighted with disappointment.

This fish bones has one of my favorite happy hours in Orlando. The drinks and food on happy hour are reasonable and the outdoor atmosphere is always very lively, even with an older crowd in there 40s-50s ish. They have live music after 7 on the patio. That is a nice touch. Service is always pretty good even with the bustle of happy hour though you may start hunting someone down for water but that will probably be after your third glass of $ 4 wine. But that’s when you know it’s time for you to go home. The sushi is always good and I love the fresh oysters. The jalapeño cheese crab dip is also very tasty and addicting. Really everything is good you just can’t go wrong.

Not impressed — Okay from the parking lot, easy parking plenty of space for parking. We did not have a reservation but was able to get a set pretty quick. We arrived about 7 for dinner. The atmosphere is nice semi romantic. Service from the time we walked in to the time we departed was excellent. Dinner — well the soup was very good, clam chowder. I had a filet and asked for it prepared medium, it came out rare, no were close to medium. There were three of us one of the guest had a shrimp pasta dish and he was not impressed, he indicated the pasta and shrimp was floating in a half inch of butter. The other guest ordered the lamb chops and they were also very rare but he enjoyed them. We had some of the lPA beer which was okay and did not have any desert so can give an opinion on that. I’m going to guess based on the price of the meals averaging $ 45 each plus drinks not including tip $ 200+ dollars. Before I rule it out I would like to give it another try.

Don’t order the chicken. It was extremely dry. The garlic mashed and grilled zucchini were forgettable. And it was room temperature and I had to send it back. Besides we had to wait over an hour for food to arrive and had to have the manager check. To her credit she gave is free dessert. I didn’t like the bread. And the salad was uncreative and limp. I didn’t like anything about the meal and the service was awful. On top of it their prices are high as if they are a quality restaurant. My recommendation: eat somewhere else. It seems full so somebody likes Fish Bone Grill. But not me. I’ve never liked this restaurant. And this meal made me remember why. I’ve had unpleasant experiences in past. But it had been a year since we were there and besides someone gave is a gift certificate.

I’m a huge fan of FishBones happy hour. Delicious apps and drinks you can’t beat anywhere in town! The atmosphere on the outside bar/deck is perfect. Service can be hit or miss depending how many are in your group but all in all everything is great here!

If you come, two for sure things you have to get: the cheesy garlic bread and mashed potatoes. Amazingggg. Great for chilling with friends during happy hour outside on the patio with live acoustic music. I leave satisfied every time!

I love FishBones. I love seafood. I love the atmosphere. I come here for a casual meeting with friends, and I come here for my anniversary dinner. Happy Hour is outstanding, but busy. The seafood is really terrific, but sadly, the one steak I have had here was terrible. But everything else I have had is awesome. Staff is friendly without being overly attentive– the perfect mix. I may try another steak– but it’s hard when the seafood is done so well…

We went here for dinner on New Year’s Eve. We had a reservation for 8:00PM but didn’t get seated until 9:00PM. They did offer free champagne while we waited. My boyfriend ordered the All-You-Can-Shrimp and they brought him 4 pieces of shrimp. We talked to the waiter and he had somehow gotten confused and brought us the refill shrimp instead of the main platter which has 16 pieces of shrimp. I had two sushi rolls that were quite good. We are going to have to give this place another try because they seemed incredibly overwhelmed.

We went to Fishbones for Christmas Eve dinner. The house salads which have an olive tapenade on it were great; there was no need to upgrade to Caesar or anything else. The Lobster Cappuccino… sigh. Skip it. If you’re looking for a bisque with lumps of lobster, look elsewhere. There wasn’t even a lobster or crab meat garnish. It was swirled to make it look like a cup of cappuccino. It was cute. The bang bang shrimp? Underwhelming. You’re better off at Bahama Breeze. We got countless«ginger ale» refills and a refill of bread(we had to pay for both). Fishbones version of ginger ale is cola with a spritz of Sprite(?) if I remember correctly. The problem is that real ginger ale has no caffeine. As high as the prices are, what’s a splurge for REAL caffeine free ginger ale? The Bouillabaisse was SO flavorful but too small. I guess after all of the ginger ale and cheese bread –which was really good, btw– why make it any bigger? Tl; dr: the ambience was great as was the service. The appetizers were average and entrees above average. If the prices were a tad lower, this review might have gotten 4 or 5 stars.

This place is great, the service was a little slow on my last visit, but the food made up for it. Tried the Gilled chicken and fried Shrimp, the shrimp was to die for, it was perfectly crispy. The chicken was also cooked to perfection. We sat inside on this occasion with a group of friends. The atmosphere is kind of loud, so if you are looking for a quiet place then don’t come here. I would recommend this place, their happy hour is amazing with half off appetizers, drinks and beers. Happy hour runs from 4:30 — 6:30 so get there early. It’s a great place for a group, plan on making a reservation!

I eat out 14 times a week, all over the U.S. I think it’s time to start giving honest feedback; helping others make informed dining decisions. I have dined here many times. This review was from our last visit: We sat in the restaurant and then the outdoor patio. +Ambiance is fantastic. +Staff is friendly. +Sushi is some of the best I’ve eaten. +Very fresh and generous sushi portions. Rolls are excellent. +Steak is very good, but not elite. +Fantastic wine selection. +After dinner drinks, on the patio, are a must in the cooler months. –No Valet. Disappointing. +Expect a higher bill, but not outrageous. Overall Grade: 95% out of 100% I would highly recommend this restaurant.

So, here’s my problem. I thought I was having dinner at bonefish grill, not fish bones. Having tried bonefish in the Sarasota and Clearwater areas and having super experiences, I thought it was a no brainier to come here. Fish bones. Bone fish.. . Not the same. The complementary cheese bread with food lacking in flavor is, I suppose ok if not paying the high dollar amount required here. Happy hour specials seem reasonable, but dinner menu not so much for the quality. Although I love the outdoor seating here, I will just stick with bone fish grill as I have tried it before with better quality and more affordable offerings.. . I have to give kudos to management for follow up though. I barely pressed the«post» button on the Unilocal app before I was greeted and asked about feedback from my review. It’s not that the meal was bad– it was just not what I expected. And at the $ 30 price point, the meal needs to be spectacular, not just ok. Doubt I’ll be back to this one.

Went for dinner the other night and was not impressed with quality of the food. Oysters were not very good, extremely fishy tasting. And its not like I don’t know oysters should taste fishy, but I know that this was not the good kind of fishy. My sushi and sashimi wasn’t good either. Best part was the wedge salad and bread, but that’s not why you come to a place like this. Service was pretty good although I think they should have noticed I didn’t eat any of my sushi after one bite and offered either a refund or something else prior to bringing my check.

The restaurant was very accommodating to our larger, 15 – 20 person party. Service was great as well. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed in the food. Don’t get me wrong, it was good, but not exceptional for the rather steep price tag. I had the filet(VERY tender) and the special zucchini, which was really just a lightly grilled or baked quarter of zucchini. Nothing particularly impressive. The lamb was a generous portion and my coworker was quite impressed.

This used to be a place I would go all the time, and just took a hiatus. So I decided to go back and relive the old days so to speak. I have to say my experience was not that great. The food was ok, my fish was very dry, and the stuffing had zero flavor. The crab martini was really good. The chocolate cake and carrot cake we had had that refrigerated taste. The service was good but the server was borderline annoying with her politness, is was very forced and abundant. I will not go back for a while again and would probably suggest people visit one of the other restaurants in the area or take the short drive over to Winter Park for several more options. I would say that the crab martini(lump crab in a martini glass) was good. Cocktail sauce was almost like ketchup, and the grilled Oysters were actually really good as well. Outside of that a big disappointment.

Went with friends for Happy Hour. We got there right at the start so were able to get a great table. Our server was very friendly and efficient. They have a pretty good Happy Hour menu, with great food and drink specials. The sushi and other items we ordered were good but some portions were a little small for the price.

Fishbone has been on my radar for several months prior to making reservations for this business dinner. This is really a beautiful restaurant the glass cases next to the hostess station proudly displays all the offerings in their raw state and the presentations are really well done. From the prime aged steaks to the vast selection of fresh local and exotic fish everything looks tempting. We arrived at 5:30PM for cocktails and we were immediately seated and greeted by Shenyu our sever. I must say the service throughout the evening was 5 stars, the food fell short of my expectations not that it was bad by any means it just doesn’t seem to be that great or a memorable meal you’d expect from a venue this nice. I would recommend this place if asked and would return myself if in the area and looking for something just a step above the normal chain restaurants. I would say this place is at the very top in regards to service and ambiance — Ketel One Martini — my drink of choice, ordered up, a little dirty with stuffed olives served ice cold and poured table side. Impressive to say the least I wanted a half dozen of these but settled for two after all this is a business meeting. — Shrimp Cocktail — served on a saucer on a bed of lettuce is always a bad choice in my option the shrimp were very nice in size but weren’t chilled this is always a mistake. I would not order this again. I don’t know if it came out of the kitchen this way or it sat around and warmed up, either way it wasn’t anything special. — Wedge Salad. — again another dish that wasn’t chilled the lettuce wedge was warm, now I’m doubting my choice or trying to figure out what’s broken here. No need to continue with the accompanying ingredients this doesn’t work. — Blackened Hawaiian Trigger Fish — Very nice portion of this delicate fish, although you better like it spicy if you order it this way, it was cooked perfectly and topped with a cajun crawfish sauce(I wish I had more of this). The best description of this dish is «succulent» this was pair with some of their signature rice and a sautéed mix of zucchini and yellow squash I did taste both but didn’t not like either fortunately the fish portion was plenty of food so I was happy without eating the sides. Solid three star experience I will return because I think they are better than what I experienced tonight.
