7 pepper sirloin salad — no dressing, where’s the beef? Finally found a waiter, he seemed annoyed I needed dressing

Bait and switch… We had dinner here last night and the ribeye was very good, they do add bread crumbs to the parmesan cheese crust, I would have preferred to know that. Beware; we also ordered a porterhouse and received a T-bone instead, and were charged for the porterhouse. We didn’t appreciate being deceived at all and will not be returning. Service was fine although I would think they served enough porterhouses to recognize the difference between the two cut of meat. *Also a porterhouse has more loin then t-bone, and our steak had been cut in a triangle shape on the loin side prior to serving as if they are trimming the loin to use elsewhere. We were not looking for a Ruth Chris quality steak, but did expect to get what we ordered and paid for.

Trade in your daily routine, throw on a cowboy hat, and go full Sam Elliot on a tender cut of beef; choose the ribeye(most flavor of any cut). Get it medium rare, because let’s be honest, there’s no other way to eat a steak. The sides are good, but I always go with the mac and cheese. It comes with breading on top to give it some true grit of a crunch. Wash it down with a beer or a mule(not the pack animal) and hang up your spurs for the night to sleep off that meat coma.

Best steak I’ve ever ate the only problem is their prices have gone way up and they’re giving you less for your money and charging you more.

I was a first timer. The food was excellent. Our server was less than friendly. The restaurant was not very clean either. Not very likely to return.

Very nice place, more higher end. Salad was amazing but the steak I order was a little dry :(I was hoping for more juice being medium cook. Loaded bake potato and broccoli was to great. I just wish the servers would carry straws in their pouches, it took our server 20 mins to come back with 2 straws :/

I like Longhorn Steakhouse okay. I ate here recently because I got a gift card, though I’ve been here many times before. They often crank the AC too high and I personally find the pop country on blast a bit annoying, but if you like it then this is the atmosphere for you. I do like the decorations they use, and the service here is usually fairly decent. They do have a gluten sensitive menu, but the prices aren’t listed on it and its pretty limited. I like steak. This place offers some decent cuts. The prices are about average. I would give this place 3 and a half stars if I could, but I decided on 3 instead, as this place is really nothing spetacular; there are far better steakhouses within 20 minutes if here. If all you’re looking for is a chain steakhouse experience, then this is will scratch the itch.

For a chain restaurant the steak is good. I had the ribeye and it was very tender, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Nice staff and good and clean place. Great lunch!

I am a fan of the Longhorn Chain, good quality steaks, and excellent service no matter the location. We went last night because we didn’t want to cook. Although the restaurant was crowded we were seated almost immediately. Attentive service from our waitress Beverly. I ordered a porterhouse which was great and my wife ordered a hickory salted NY strip which was terrible. Although the cut was excellent and cooked right the seasoning was way too salty for her taste and ruined her dinner. This was one of those seasonal selections that these places do from time to time. Not good, the company should warn diners about the extreme saltiness of this selection before ordering, not to everyones taste. She should have ordered something else and would have been happy. Decent house wines, great service here. Normally everything excellent just watch for the hickory salted steak.

I have been here a few different times hoping that the next time would be a better experience than the last. Unfortunately with every trip, I was more and more disappointed. The sirloin steak was well done all 3 times, when asked to be medium. The last time I went my steak was a weird rubber like texture and looked like a hamburger patty? My boyfriend and I got the same thing and his steak came out thick, juicy, and perfectly medium. The two things looked completely different. After sending it back the manager came out to serve me the new steak and watched me cut it open. Even she said«ugh that is completely well done»… Again! They refunded my meal and I didn’t bother to try a third time. Disappointing but definitely will not be going back. Third time was not the charm.

Good food, good atmosphere, and great wait staff. The only reason I couldn’t give this place 5 stars is that their reservation/call ahead policy doesn’t really make sense. You call ahead about an hour before your arrival for a time, they put your name down for that time and when you arrive you still have to wait 30 – 45 minutes… Might as well just show up 30 – 45 minutes before you want to eat. Also we had a party of 7 so instead of seating is at a table that comfortably seats 8 the squeezed us into a table that barely seats 6 by the order computer. So not only were we squished around this table but we had the wait staff and other restaurant patrons running into the back of our chairs.

Service was great. Our waitress showed she cared and was especially kind to my 8 year old daughter. Nice family atmosphere. The bread was good. Stuffed mushrooms were yummy. They need to ease up on the seasoning for the 11 oz ribeye. My husbands asparagus did not have the hard ends trimmed. My daughter had the ribs and fries. Both were very good. A lot of food for the price. I’d ask them for light seasoning on the steaks next time. Otherwise I enjoyed the visit. It’s on par with Outback quality.

We normally don’t do chain restaurants for steaks but out in the Great Lakes Crossing area, this is all they have. After getting in and out of the mall for some final X-mas shopping, it was time for my wife and I to spend some time at a table sans kids. At first we considered Joes Crab Shack but the value for dollar there is lacking. Besides, I wanted meat. Across the same parking lot is LongHorn. We were immediately seated upon entering and a friendly young woman took our beverage order. We both decided that the ribeye was what we were after. The bread just keeps coming and that is dangerous when you’re hungry. It comes with a side and a salad. I ordered the steamed broccoli because I’m health conscience. Whatever. My wife ordered the mac and cheese. The steaks came butter finished which I could have done without. Sort of makes a well marbled cut almost too greasy. Delicious, decadent but greasy. On future visits, I’d ask for the steak just grilled and seasoned and without butter. What? I order the vegetable remember. The mac and cheese was good but just alright but you can’t go by me, I still love the box variety. I enjoyed it here but still prefer my specialty steak haunts that are always worth driving for but if you’re out at the GLC, this might be a reasonable option for a sit down meal for you.

Have been here twice now. The first visit we enjoyed ourselves well enough. The meat, although salty, was tender and decently cooked. That said, I thought it was a little overpriced for what you get. The cocktails and wine/spirits selection is pretty good as well. The second time we went was a special dinner for my teenage son. This time things went a little less well. I ordered the watermelon salad, which I’d had previously and enjoyed. This time, it was barely edible. The greens were wilted and visibly brown and dried out. The meat(NY Strip) was gristly and over-seasoned. The baked potatoes were small and pretty ordinary, not the big flugffy sort you’d expect. We ordered dessert, which was a caramel apple concoction(sticky sweet and gross) and key lime pie(actually decent!) I didn’t go expecting Chophouse quality, but they really seem to be phoning it in here.

Can you believe a vegetarian goes to a steakhouse??? We decided to try something new. Only, of course, after I looked online at the menu. How cool of them to come out with new seasonal picks that included this fab bib salad and side app of golden beats. Super super yummy. This veggie girl was thrilled at a new flavor and added variety. The carnivores were pleased with steaks and burgers and such… blah blah, moo, cluck. Just joking. Their food was excellent. The service was great, the atmosphere warm and relaxing. A plus in my book. I’m sure we’ll go back again.

It are what it are and it ain’t what it ain’t. Is it like Morton’s? No. Is it a fine steakhouse with fine steakhouse prices? No. The steaks were not prime cuts. But they were tasty and tender. And the loaded baked potatoes and side dishes were good too. The service was friendly and efficient and we had a good time. We were a party of 4 ½, with the half being my less than two year old grandson. He was pretty good although he was pretty tired. We waited quite a long time to be seated at this busy place, and by the time we finally were seated, ordered and were served, he was way beyond his normal bed time. But he did not make a fuss or a lot of noise, the kids whose parents separated them from the main table that were sitting next to us made plenty of noise while their parents ignored their poor conduct, that the rest of the diners appreciated how good our toddler was acting. He basically just folded and put his head down when he had worn himself out. This is a good place to take kids, to have an informal and inexpensive family style meal and to do all that without breaking the bank. I will be back.
