A wonderful coffee shop with the best coffee! I love the ambience. The oak scones are delicious. They have newspapers to read and lots of space to relax. A great place.

Shout out to this place for using ice made of coffee for their iced coffees! Finally. This place is just a couple blocks from my doorstep and I absolutely love it. The building is a beautiful older style building with character. White pillars and black accents. They have outside seating with a relaxing vibe. They sit just off a road that is a 20mph road so it’s not ever loud or chaotic. They have a dog dish outside full of water for all the pups that are brought here. They have a great menu of breakfast and lunch items. The décor is cute, a little more modern/​trendy than the outside but it works. Their baked goods looked fresh and delicious. I’ll be coming regularly.

Good food but poor service. We have been there twice. First time, the woman taking our order was rude and short with us. She acted liked she was annoyed we were even there. Second time we went 10 minutes before closing on Sunday and tried to order but were told they closed the kitchen because they were closing in 10 minutes. Either the management doesn’t know this or allows lazy employees. One would think that a business that wants to make money would close the kitchen at the closing time; not 10 minutes before closing time. That’s the last time we go there.

I have gone to Chuck’s for some years now. I used to love going there, but unfortunately it’s lost its appeal in the last year. The staff has become increasingly unfriendly, often times even rude. In addition their internet is completely unreliable making it quite difficult to get any work done. For the amount of coffee shops around town, there are way better options. I will surely be taking my business elsewhere.

This is a very good place that I highly recommend. The customer service, as well as the coffee and food are outstanding. There is a reason this place has thrived in the quaint little town of LO. I enjoyed watching Chuck visiting with his patrons,; he was very friendly and accommodating. I will be back

Ok. I’m a tough grader. Not easily impressed. But this place wins. It could use more seating and parking can occasionally be tough… but notice that I’m winding up to say good things here? Food is terrific. Service is terrific. Chuck and Co. are doing good things. Give it a try… good spot for coffee or a quick frittata or Chuck’s Plate if you’re up for something more. Grits. Bread and jam. Winners all over.

Beautiful and intimate coffee place. Lots of seating — it does get crowded! I got a nonfat latte with Sugar Free Raspberry syrup and something went to bc it tasted like medicine! This is my favorite drink and I usually love it so I don’t know what happened. I wanted to ask them to remake it but the counter girl was too busy even when I approached her. Also this drink at Starbucks is $ 4.25 and here it was $ 5.25. I feel like this is a decent coffee place, I probably just got unlucky this time. I’ll try again, probably a plain latte next time.

Super friendly. Delicious scones. Illy coffee. I’d totally come back. Got a nice paper bag full of goodies for friends and everyone asked where I got them. Will definitely stop by if I’m in the area again.

Excellent breakfast and lunch. Wide variety of selections. Very attentive staff and a larger than expected eating area. A great local place that is a great find in Lake O. Stop by and I assure you that your time will be well worth it!

OMG– now serving breakfast– lots of GF options. My avocado toast w a fried egg and pepper flakes was amazing. Kids loved the waffles and scrambled egg and hubby scarfed down the egg and sausage sandwich. Happy service, smiling customers, and more room to sit. BEST breakfast in town!

My favorite Coffee shop in Lake Oswego is now serving breakfast! So far I’ve had the 2 eggs any style and it comes with yummy cheesy grits, brioche toast and jam (gf options as well). Also love the oatmeal with all the fixings!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops to grab some coffee and a bite to eat on my way to work. The service is quick and the daily selection of fresh cookies, scones, and frittatas is wonderful… not to mention that they serve illy coffee (I’m a fan of Italian coffee).
The Bacon Frittata is one of my favorites.
The Chuckwich (an egg and ham sandwich) wasn’t impressive; I’m not a fan of peppercorns.
The savory Bacon cheddar dill scone is surprisingly good.
My favorite pastry is the Lemon Currant Scone… delicious.
The Macaroons are crunchy around the edges, just the way I like them.
The staff is very friendly and it’s a great place to hang out, meet up with someone, or read a book. There is plenty of seating available and you even have the option of sitting outside.

Totally new perspective on Chuck’s Place now that I find myself in a less-​frenzied state of mind. I have found the time to stop and smell the espresso, and yep, it smells like Illy. Chuck’s boasts plenty of tables, plenty of room, plenty of snack options to choose from. This is a great coffee shop for laptopping, business meetings, mommy meetings, and solo sippings. Just be sure you sniff the coffee first — life is short, your coffee time should not be.

Gotta love Chuck’s coffee above all other places in L.O. I even miss it when I’m out of town. Sure, Starbucks makes a great latte, but at Chucks there’s plenty of comfy places to sit and read and charge your phone, or meet at tables with friends or colleagues. It’s a local treasure and I’ve been going there since it first opened, maybe 10 years ago. It used to be Chuck’s Coffee and Cookies, originally in a tiny spot a few blocks away. So not only has it stayed open for 10 years, it’s flourished. They’re plenty of fresh bakery items, grab and go lunches, and dare I say, great coffee.
What I REALLY love is the self service coffee, with no waiting. They trust you to put your money in, make your own change, and go and this is awesome when you’re short on time. Great establishment.

This is a great little coffee hang — and I do mean hang! It’s a neighborhood fav and getting a table you better get there early! I was invited to try the bacon fritters by the friendly counter gal — Boyoboy!!! Am I glad I did!!! Wowsah!
Let me say — put THAT at the top of your list!
And they only stick them till about noon, fyi!
I like all the different kinds of tables, the alcove, the boardgames available and you can get a refill if coffee at the tankard w/​o having to bither anyone, just drop your fifty cents? Into the cup!
The coffee is fine, but I never have the drip, so don’t hold me to that.
Pastries!!! Is what you want to come for — and the diverse ambiance

My office is right down the street and we LOVE Chuck’s!
The «illy» brand coffee is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the food is DELICIOUS!
Recommendation: Breakfast sandwich (toasted) and a lemon-​currant pastry
