Great Chinese food. Hot and soup the best service with a smile.

Love this place! I order to go from here all the time. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some good chimes food, good customer service, and relatively cheap prices.

This is our go to chinese spot. Food is delicous, fast and very friendly service. Our typical to go order is Sesame chicken, combination fried rice and potstickers or egg flower soup.

Favorite Chinese! We’ve been enjoying for many years. Food: Great traditional Chinese menu. Favorites: sesame chicken, chicken lettuce cups, sweet and sour chicken. Food is always delivered hot and flavorful. Staff: Excellent staff — courteous and helpful, always greet you and work hard to make your dining experience positive. Prices: Moderate and within expectations. Negatives: The restaurant is in a strip mall and parking can be a bit of a challenge at times. Minor issue considering the many times we’ve enjoyed dining here.

This is the place I’ve been looking for in Portland(and environs) for the past few years. Good, «traditional» American Chinese food in a comfortable sit down restaurant. The ambiance here is way, way better than you’ll find in most of Portland. Imagine a place with kind, experienced servers, in this town! It is so refreshing to not have to bus your table or deal with the usual snarkiness. This is one of those places where the high tips are actually deserved. The dining room is very clean and cozy, with excellent booths. The food — well I wasn’t blown away by the tofu dish I ordered, but it was good enough that I will come back and sample more items off of the menu. There is a nice selection of mixed drinks, beers(including Deschutes Porter), and wines. Prices are very reasonable. There is ample parking in the lot out front.

Sweet and Sour Chicken, egg flower soup and hot tea. A typical lunch… a typical price. NOT typical service and very good. My new lunch place

My family of four went here today for lunch for the first time in a very long time. We ordered broccoli beef, chicken in garlic sauce, cashew shrimp, sweet and sour chicken and a fried rice(each dish around $ 7.50). The egg drop soup was good, usually I’m not a fan of egg drop soups. When the food came I noticed the portions were fairly small(probably because they were lunch portions) however it was all very delicious. It’s not as greasy and heavy as a lot of other Chinese restaurants and I love that. We didn’t get to take home any leftovers like we usually do when we get Chinese but that’s okay. I’d definitely come here again because the food is really tasty and doesn’t leave you feeling super lethargic like I usually feel after Chinese.

I love this place! The food is light and does not bloat you like every other Chinese food I’ve ever had. The people that work there are very nice. The hot and sour soup is really good. Order your food spicy if you like heat.

Went here for first time, since I started a new job in the area. Easy to find in a little strip mall type of location. Restaurant was not very crowded at 1140, but picked up as the lunch hour progressed. I was greeted and seated warmly and promptly by the hostess. Was greeted with ice water and hot tea shortly thereafter. I placed an order for lemon chicken, white rice and hot and sour soup. Soup came out right away. Was proper warm and great flavor. Lemon chicken was nothing special, but not bad. «Breading» on chicken was light and almost tempura style. Lemon sauce was sweet, fairly generic tasting. Chicken was good white meat and the portion was appropriate for lunch. All in all, decent food and great service. They are friendly and on it. $ 7.25 + $ 2.00 tip is a great value for decent, fast, friendly and sit down service. I will be back to try another of their many lunch special items!!!

Excellent Food! Lo-mien is one of our favorites. Sesame Beef is tender and not greasy at all. We usually just get takeout, but service has been quite friendly.

Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars What can I say, I found really good Chinese food. The honey ribs are a must if you ever visit this place. That special is on top of my food list. It’s sweet and crispy. It’s similar to crispy wings but ribs. Very light on the batter and ridiculously good. We also ordered the salt and pepper squid which was slightly overpriced and didn’t care much for. We also had the orange beef and the General Tsaos chicken was very good. I live in LA and I love going to cities and finding hidden food gems and this place is one. The staff was also very friendly and always refilled our drinks without even asking!

Very nice people and j hate to leave this review. But the food was horrid. No flavor at all. I ordered for take out and now that I’m sitting here I feel duped. $ 20 down the drain. The fried rice tasted like some rice in a pan with some leftover stuff thrown in and stirred. The sesame beef was tasteless and rubbery and like cardboard at the same time. Ugh!

This was the best Chinese food I’ve had in quite some time and I had to come to Portland from the Seattle area to find it. The honey ribs were so good. I don’t usually eat things like ribs when you have to eat it with your hands and get messy, but this was just that good. A definite recommend if you’re in the area.

An excellent lunch — so why a 4 star? The meat quality /size. We had a chicken dish and a shrimp dish. Both were a great portion, fresh and flavorful. But the shrimp tasted like bulk frozen, the chicken tasted a lot like discard/scrap pieces. The service deserves a 10 star — our waitress was excellent. Speed of the food and drink delivery is best in the area.

My friends and I used to go here all the time and the food was great, I haven’t been there for a couple of years and wanted some good chinese food. I ordered lemon chicken, kung poa chicken, orange chicken and stir fried green beans. The green beans were soggy, the kung poa was bland, the orange chicken coating was falling off and there was only either breading or chicken, and I never got the lemon chicken. Instead there was some kind of breaded seafood that was so chewy it couldn’t be eaten. The food is no where close to how I remember it and won’t be going back. Also the food was not worth driving back to get the lemon chicken that I ordered which they mixed up with the chewy seafood dish. Very disappointing!

Good option for Chinese in Lake Oswego. We ordered pick-up and they had our order ready in 10 minutes. The lo mein and sesame beef were both good. The spring rolls were good, although they’re very small and the horseradish sauce is pretty overpowering. Portions are generous and the customer service was good. I would return if I was in the area.

The customer service was amazing! Our server was so sweet and polite, and really went above and beyond. The food! The scallops were like butter melting in your mouth. My potstickers were home made, and they were literally the best I have had in my life, hands down! The lemon chicken sauce was delicately flavored and had a sweet note on the end. An amazing dining experience from a very unassuming little place!

How did I miss THIS in Lake Oswego??? Thrilled with the Chinese — it was like being back in New York City. They even have Cold Sesame Noodles which it is really hard to find out here. We got the Lunch Special — SUCH a steal, total in with an added Spring Roll Appetizer b/c we split it — yes sirrrreee folks — $ 11.00! How can you beat that? I can’t WAIT to go back and try something else. We had the Orange Beef that was just delicious. The service was great, it’s a lovely large place so it was quiet inside. This little gem was a find. I just never noticed the sign from the street. I am so glad we decided to skip Taco Del Mar and get something ‘crunchy’ I was craving at the Pearl. Thanks — and we’ll be back — Do you have a Happy Hour? :)
