Wow,… What a slow service! This is awful. This place comes highly recommended but it starts with the terrible greeting of a lady who doesn’t want to work here. Throughout the whole Happy Hour our group had to continuasly ask for mor water and mor cocktails… Not a good place to bring friends you want to hang out with for a few hours, really too bad :(

Not a review on the food but on the attitude of the hostess … This place will not last with a I’m doing u a favor attitude. The owners need to see this if they even want a food review

Great place for a date with delicious food. I do not order French dips often because the au jus usually ends up too salty for me; however, the French dip at Manzana is fantastic and, by far, one of my favorite French dips ever. The au jus is perfect, not too salty and complements the sandwhich completely. The amount of meat in the sandwhich was a good hearty one, and the bread itself was toasted to a light golden crisp. Overall, there is not one thing I dislike about Manzana’s French dip. Only thing that I wish I could change is the prices of the food, but it’s well worth it.

I like it. It’s got a great environment. The service was good but not overbearing. The prices are surprisingly good for the location and the environment. Very classy but every entrée is reasonably priced. The wine was delicious and the server was very knowledgeable about its flavor. The seared Ahi tuna was delicious and the flavors were spot on. It was plated beautifully. I will be back.

I love this restaurant! Great service and food, excellent happy hour choices. We even got a complimentary banana cream pie for my mom’s birthday and confetti on the table. Thanks Manzana!

Well I would love to comment on the food, or even the service, but we received neither. We were seated by the hostess in an area of mostly empty booths, which is always a red flag in an otherwise busy restaurant. And that was the end of our human interaction. A waitress came down our aisle twice to ask how one booth was doing and then again to take their plates. Never made eye contact. Never said someone would be with us shortly. So after 15 minutes of thumb twiddling, we left. Had a delicious lunch at the French bakery next door!

I love Manzana! Order the seared ahi or pecan salmon if they’re on special! I’m also a big fan of the veggie burger, the chicken enchilada and the cornbread. I’ve had everything there and it’s all awesome. The tortilla soup and chocolate banana cream pie are FAMOUS here — so save room for one of these. All sauces, dressings and soups are house made! Service is great — lots of warm and friendly faces. If the weather is nice, try the patio seating overlooking the lake. It’s beautiful!

Beautiful location. Friendly staff. However, The happy hour tostada is not a tostada. It is a giant deep fried flour tortilla in the shape of a taco shell with vinaigrette tossed shredded lettuce. The menu states that there is meat on the tostada. There really is not. Worth a try for happy hour but would not pay for full priced menu items here.

Good food. Great location near the lake. Great early and late happy hour specials. Lots of great restaurants around here. This is good however we usually end up at one of the others because of a specific craving.

This place was pretty packed when my mom and I popped in for a late lunch after a wedding-related errand one Sunday. We opted to grab a table in the bar area, where there was open seating. Our server was lovely and kind — checked our IDs(go mom!) and then grabbed us water. My mom went with the chicken tortilla(or enchilada?) soup and a salad(lunch combo) and I went with the brunch option of the veggie omelet. The soup was delicious — my mom mentioned hers didnt have much chicken in it but the guy at the table eating the big bowl of the same soup had tons. She loved her salad as well — I stole a few bites of each and agree both were tasty. I liked my veggie omelet — it wasnt anything special, but I added spinach to it(which they happily agreed to) and I enjoyed it was filled with veggies and not just one small chunk here and there. Also — the avocado on the top didnt add much(I’d rather them take the price down a dollar). Their potatoes were fantastic — I ended up digging those puppies into ketchup and happily munching away for a solid few minutes after I registered full. I don’t live in this area, but would definitely continue to come if I did.

This place has waivered through the years so though I still rank it as one of my «go to» places, I’ll give a nod to its inconsistencies and knock it down a notch. In my mind, they got rid of some of their best dishes. They used to have a fish special that was basically always on the menu(seared ahi with cilantro rice) and it seems to be gone forever. They also used to have a crab and artichoke appetizer that we ordered every time we visited and that has been eliminated. What comes out of the kitchen is not as consistent as it was when we first moved here. Even the kiddie pasta that my daughter gets is random. But still, I can usually get a good meal, typically ordering from their specials menu. Their tortilla soup is tried and true. Comfortable booths and tables. Outdoor seating on warm days. Service is hit and miss.

Oh man… such a terrible evening at Manzana. I made reservations for Christmas Eve three weeks in advance. I noted very clearly that we would need a table and not a booth. I am 7 months pregnant and no longer able to fit in booths. Anyway, we arrive and we are taken to a BOOTH. I politely remind them that we requested a table. The hostess confirms that I have requested a table, but tells me that tables are only available for larger parties. We were a party of four plus a high chair. So their solution is to try and fit me in the booth. Which was humiliating since i clearly didn’t fit. Then then tell me the only thing they can do is put a chair on the end of the booth and my daughter in a booster. Total disaster. I was blocking the entire aisle in the chair and felt so embarrassed. My daughter isn’t old enough yet for a booster in the booth. What did they say? «Sorry. We can’t help you.» So on Christmas Eve after making reservations clearly in advance with my requests noted, we were essentially forced to leave because I was too pregnant for a booth. Absolutely horrify, embarrassing and distressing. We will NEVER be back. I can’t believe restaurants are allowed to treat people like this.

The menu is not good. Very few choices and not very well done or appetizing. They have an extensive drink menu and the bar staff is very good. Just don’t go there for the food.

Absolutely love this place. Was afraid it would be too fancy and expensive, but the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and perfect for a nice dinner out. The mojitos are perfectly balanced and the chicken tortilla soup is divine and reminds this Arizona native of home. Our waitress was great, she took our order before happy hour so she could put it in to the kitchen right when it started. We ordered the prickly pear street tacos, the chips and salsa, and the fried calamari, all of which was amazing. Would totally go back.

Cold beer, slow service, bad appetizers. We suggest going there in the summer especially for outdoor seating with a great view. Perfect to people watch and to enjoy a cold beer or two, outside at Happy Hour. But…, If you order at Happy Hour expect a long wait. And the food selection is, well HH after all but anything fried is greasy. The calamari was overly breaded and horrible. The chicken tostada had virtually no chicken. The tostada was deep fried of course. Mostly shredded lettuce was was OK. If you order food order the roasted chicken and mashed potatoes are good. Avoid HH and drink beer and you will be fine. Suggest spending more $$$ and going to 5 spice. PS. I have had heartburn only twice in my life. Second time was after the greasy HH at Manzana.

Manzana was much better when it first opened. I hope they can revisit their quality because the location is great. Their signature Chicken Corn Tortilla soup was great and is now okay. Their pasta dishes have hardly any sauce or toppings, and are mainly pasta. The Apple Gorgonzola Chicken salad is superb still, so the salad chef is still great. The beet salad was wilted due to excessive vinegar in the dressing.

First off, the ambiance was lovely for a luncheon with colleagues. The service was incredibly proactive, fast, amusing, and friendly. I ordered the Grilled Housemade Veggie Burger with no cheese on a gluten-free bun and a side of roasted garlic mayo. The fries were good, but nothing to write home about. They were sized between steak fries and skinny fries; just average. The burger itself was disappointing. The brown rice and bean patty was so salty, I could barely consume it. I went to work on about a fifth of the burger before giving up. I ended up throwing my leftovers away. Had the patty not been so laden with sodium, its combination with the trimmings and bun would have been good. For almost $ 12, I expected more. I have had veggie burgers and fries elsewhere that tasted much better for a more affordable price. I did notice that the portion sizes of my co-workers’ food were impressive, but that is not enough to persuade me to come here again.

This is one of the only restaurants I know of anywhere that serves serious BEEFRIBS! They order them from the butcher(or wherever) with A LOT of meat on the bone… The bones you buy at the grocery store are 97% bone… If you like beef ribs… Here you go! Enjoy West-Morry

This restaurant isn’t in my top picks by a lot, but I’ve had pleasant meals on the patio in the summer when beautiful weather and atmosphere make up for the bland, boring, corporate approach to food. That said, the service is always good, aside from the perfunctory five minute wait for a table in a mostly empty restaurant. That’s just silly, if not rude. Tonight, the food was okay – the guacamole and chips outshone the food, though. The fish taco – what was I thinking when I ordered a fish taco here?? – was an abysmal mash of corn, cut up avocado, and overlooked fish. It came with a cup of bland beans. Meh. My daughter enjoyed her steak salad, and it looked good, too. The cheese, bacon burger bested McMenamins’ burgers but can’t complete with little big burger. Still, no matter – people probably don’t come here for the burgers(or the fish tacos). The Caesar salad was absolutely predictable but well executed. It’s my own fault for not drawing the line with family on where we eat. For the $ 75 price tag for a family of four, the prices aren’t insane; it’s just not a good value for what I want out of a restaurant: interesting food, good service, intriguing atmosphere.

We have been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed. Great happy hour and seating on the patio in the summer. We had the best service yet on our last visit. Waiter was super attentive, understanding and went out of his way to take care of us. Best item on the menu has to be the rotisserie chicken dinner. The gravy is amazing! Order extra. They have fabulous desserts. We were a little underwhelmed with the total flavor of the chocolate banana cream pie but would still order it again. Recommend reservations on Friday and Saturday night.
