Pizza can be difficult to get right, but at Palace Pizza, they get it right. Growing up in NY, I understand great Pizza and so does Palace. They also show off with their entrée selection too. Truly nothing on the menu I wouldn’t eat. Their staff is awesome too, and they make the experience all the better. A home run in the heart of downtown Lakeland.

This place is a jewel in Lakeland. Both the pizza parlor downtown and the larger restaurant on the south side are first rate eateries. If you’re looking for great Italian you can’t go wrong at Palace. Always get the garlic knots. Enjoy!

I was really looking forward to trying the food, based on the reviews. We ordered everything from pasta’s, sandwich to pizza. However we were pretty disappointed because it ‘all’ tasted very bland to us; as if the cook forgot to season.

WOW!!! I’m from Orlando and I’ve lived there 28 years. I have never had a slice of pizza as good as this place!!! Wish you where in Orlando! Amazing service, pizza and desert

Very nice service and very attentive. We had BBQ chicken pizza, spinach ravioli with vodka sauce, spaghetti with meatballs. The food was good standard pizza parlor fare. The Riesling was the highlight!!!

Was my first time here after a graduation. My friend said the pizza was good. We ordered 2 pies (supreme and plain cheese). It came out quickly and was nice and hot. The pizza was decent but what wowed me the most was the staff. They were so polite and helpful and we’re able to deal with my energized nephews a dn joke around with them. If you are in the beautiful downtown area of Lakeland and in the mood for a pizza I would recommend you come here.

Delicious food and good customer service. I came here with friends and my pizza was perfect. My friends order took a while to come out and when it did it was a bit burnt but they were already making another fresh one for her and really saved the situation!

Second time at this spot and both times the service and food was great. I come to Lakeland approximately bi-​weekly a month and haven’t found a decent lunch place to eat at. The staff and manager are pleasant and although it is lunch time there is not long of a line however the place is always packed. There so much more to try on their menu will definitely be back to check them out.

Very casual. Walk up to order. Huge portions. Garlic knots addicting! I had stuffed shells. Pasta sauce was very flavorful and fresh tasting. Chicken parm for hubby. Chicken was crispy and moist and perched atop a mountain of ziti. The garlic knots are little dough rolls smothered in butter and fresh garlic. Just amazing.

This cozy spot in the middle of town is the best pizza but I’m not going to review that today. We had the taste of Italy, a calzone and a tiramisu. We started with a small ‘the taste of Italy’ which was a dish big enough for two. It was a perfect blend of salty, sweet, bitter and mild flavors. This magical dish makes you feel like it was served fresh from Italy itself. The calzone was the largest one I had ever had. I had the combination calzone which had (I’m guessing) ricotta and mozzarella cheese stuffed with pepperoni, Italian sausage and marinated mushrooms. It was amazingly filling and delicious. Then there was the tiramisu. No words could do this huge wonderful dessert justice.

Ended up here by accident after walking in the place next door which smelled and was empty at 5:00pm. This place didn’t deserve to be an accident! Garlic knots and bread sticks were AWESOME! No way I could finish the Broccoli Chicken Alfredo… big portions!
This place was great! Son loved the pizza, wife and daughters loved the ravioli all a vodka.
Definitely a recommend.

Pizza is pre-​made, and warmed up while you wait in line. They have a good system: order at the beginning of the line, get a tour of all the other delicious food behind the glass counter, and then you pay. Everyone is always pleasant, and the manager always seems to be present.
Despite the lunch rush, they keep the line moving at a descent pace. I usually take my slices to go. Sprinkle my garlic and pepper and out the door. If you choose to sit down, they give you a number to display on your table after you pay. This will indicate to them which table to drop off the food.
Prices are fair, and they always seem to have the fridge full of desserts.

Best pizza in Lakeland! Their garlic knots are to die for plus they are so nice. The service is always amazing! We went there when Lakeland was having there 4th of July fireworks and although they were incredibly busy they were very organized and very fast. I love eating there and will continue to do so!

Fantastic food, fantastic prices, fantastic service! We stopped here because of the reviews and we were not disappointed. Everything was fresh and amazing. I highly recommend the Garlic knots and the tortellini pasta with Alfredo sauce.
But what really put it over the top for us was how much food we got for the price. There was SO much food! The value was incredible!
I wish I could give this place more stars. We will be back when we are in the area!

Palace is probably the best pizza in Lakeland, but not the best in central Florida. The white pizza is great but the regular slices are hit or miss. You’re best off ordering a whole pie cause if you order a slice, you just get reheated pizza with an extremely crunchy crust.
I prefer real New York pizza, and this definitely isn’t that. But it’s certainly not bad and it’s better to go to the local joints than Pizza Hut or something.

Quite good. They have a pretty wide selection of pizza by the slice including items with meat, various veggies, riccotta, and other goodies. Prices are fair. The calzone was quite tasty, I go straight cheese for mozzarella & riccotta goodness. Why adulterate?
It’s a casual pizza hub downtown with quite a bit of searing inside and on the patio. Service was efficient and responsive when I was there.
Everything was tasty if a tad salty and garlicky. But hey, I’m walkin’ here. Mangia!

Yummy yummy yummy Pizza!!! Where can you go wrong with pizza? Well… cici’s but just saying. This place is pretty good! Went to visit a friend in Lakeland and she insisted on taking me to this place. The pizza that they serve are the monstrous slice type where you can fold em for easy eatings!
One thing she could not stop talking about were the garlic knots. When I had my first bite I could see why… Holy garlic knots batman! Best garlic knots I’ve ever had.
Go out and try the meat slice and of course the GARLIC KNOTS.
