50 bucks bought us 2 large sushi platters plus 2 extra Yellow Tail, a large bottle of Sake, Tea, 2 glasses of Plum Wine, and Tempura Shrimp. They had a special for buy one get on 35% off and it was worth it. 13 pieces each for my husband and I. Slow service for the only customers there besides two people at the bar drinking. And our server was not attentive at the beginning but he became more as the night continued, Bathrooms need updated badly. Otherwise a good experience, will go again.

It an ok place, kind of dark. This was my first time ever to a place like this so it was all new to me but for my first time, I did not really like it. They take forever to make the food as I was on my lunch break but I guess that is how they work in these places. Overall the food was good but slow service.

Good food! Great show. I personally went with steak and shrimp for my main course choice. The shrimp was excellent– perfectly blackened in all the right places and the steak was cooked medium just as requested. Everything was great and the server did an excellent job. My only complaint is it all could all use a little more of a kick– but their sauces are still tasty.

I had the salmon & chicken hibachi was very good. The cook that prepared the food was good. He was doing all the tricks with the knives and forks. Really enjoyed myself.

I had the lunch hand roll special. The miso soup was light and flavorful, the salad was iceburg with ginger dressing (fresh no brown leaves like other places). The avocado roll and cucumber roll were good. Tightly rolled and presented nicely. I wish they had more plant based options (peanut and asparagus rolls, etc.).

I’ve been two times and both were not good with the last really bad. Only one cook working last time. After watching the cook blow his nose in a towel and doing this several times during which he was cooking our food. My coworker actually saw this as well and a «farmers blow» I missed or I would have walked out. I felt especially bad for the group who had to wait till he was done with us about 30 – 45 minutes since he was the only cook. The cook was really nice but obviously sick and should not have been cooking in front of patrons. Even though the food was good I would never go back.

Ok, the food is not bad at all. BUT, the place is old and not very clean. Stop and check out the fountain in the lobby area. The focus is sitting down at the hibachi grill top with others obviously. Not my cup of tea so I usually get food to go.

Wow! Sushi is re-​invented! The newly remodeled restaurant looks beautiful, but the real «show-​stoper» is the new sushi chef! His creativity, presentation and expertise impress the «foodie» in me.
The staff makes me feel like I’m a part of something, true customer service that is so rare.
Thank you Tokyo Café for the world class experience!
