I love the owner, her dog, the price of the rooms and the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are made up each day with fresh towels and trash removed and considering the price of $ 45 – 50 with a kitchen that is hard to beat anywhere.
If you are not a fan of slightly rustic and imperfect then stay somewhere more expensive but for us the down home attitude of the owner is enough. In Lakeside rustic is everywhere and if you like motels then you should try Bear’s Paw Motel.
