I don’t know how this place has such high reviews. The burger was juicy but way too salty and def not a $ 12.50 burger. And, they have no fries. If you still go though, try the coleslaw.

My family and I came here on recommendation. I highly suggest coming here the Southwest cheese steak was delicious. The hubby had a mushroom and swiss burger which we thought was really yummy. The kids devoured their food.

If you’re up in Pinetop, this is the place to go! They have menu options for everyone(their veggie burger is pretty darn good! It had a little smokey kick to it… I’m thinking chipotle black bean?), and their beer list… freaking heaven(I quite enjoyed the Mudshark Vanilla Carmel Porter(not my usual choice, but delicious, nonetheless))! The staff are super friendly(and I’m pretty sure the owner was the man greeting us and taking our drink orders), which makes the place feel welcoming(which is always nice in such a small town). They have multiple TVs to watch all the games on and there are no bad attitudes about other teams it seems(we were there during a playoff game and everyone seemed content cheering for their own team and not insulting the opposing team). Overall, this place is a great choice if you’re looking for some good, filling food and a delicious, cold beer.

Great beer selections but the food is ok. The chilly is horrible, 7 bucks for a cup of runny slop with cheap meat.

Would give this place 0 stars if it were based off service. Rudest wait staff I have ever had in my entire life. The food was pretty decent though so it redeemed it a bit. The blonde waitress was just a miserable person.

Great food and even better service! We were greeted and sat immediately by a super friendly guy(I believe the owner). He ran through their beer selection and all of their food specials. Our waitress Tiffany was super sweet and personalable. The pork posole was absolutely incredible. Very flavorful, with a kick of spice. Pork wings and the BLT were delicious too! Best dinner we had in Pinetop. Oh AND the peanut butter cheese cake was heavenly.

Stopped in during an overnight trip because of all the good reviews on Unilocal. Walked in and the place was fairly packed which we thought was a good sign. First things first… the server. Service was OK but the server made it seem like she didn’t even want to be there and that we were just an inconvenience to her. This place is supposed to have a ton of beer on tap and so when we asked for a beer list, we were told they don’t have one and was told«there is a chalk board over there you can look at…» And she pointed in the general direction of where it was, so we decided to pass on the beer. We were handed a double sided page which was the menu. Not too much to choose from. We made our decision and placed our order. Grilled cheese for my young daughter — was really hard and she said she couldn’t chew it and for some reason said it made her face itch. Sirloin steaks — the steaks were good, probably the only good thing we got that night. The sides that came with the meals… Salad — nothing special. Bagged salad with ranch. I actually didn’t eat mine. Roasted red potatoes — it was actually just a single potato cut up into pieces. It was pretty good so I’m only sorry the portions weren’t a bit larger. Cheesy chili rice — now don’t let this fool you. Not really any cheese. It was more Spanish rice with either green chilies or jalapeños. Pretty spicy which is the only thing that saved this side. Other than that, nothing memorable. Probably won’t return.

We have been coming to Pinetop for years and ran across what might be the best kept secret in the White Mountains for lovers of craft beer and good food. We will definitely be back.

Went there recently on a visit to the area, looking for a place that was open(since most of Pinetop/Show Low apparently closes at 9:00) where we could get some food and watch the ASU game. Luckily, Moose Henri’s was still open. The beer selection was excellent with a lot of good options on tap. I asked our server what she would recommend, and she did a great job suggesting something based on what I typically like in a beer. I also ordered the chicken kabobs with the chipotle bbq sauce on them, and there were excellent. Unfortunately ASU played like crap, so that put a damper on the night, but the service, food, and drinks were excellent. We would definitely go back the next time we’re looking for a place with good food and drinks to watch a game in the area.

Great selection of beer, staff needs some work. Look, I know its game day and you all need to deal with annoying drink people, but shake it off and be processional. Our waitress acted like she could care less if we were there or not, not very personable, borderline rude. If you survive off tips you are not doing a very good job. That being said the food was good and the price was right, so check them out maybe not on a game day.

In town for the weekend and looked on Unilocal this place was highly rated compared to others. Atmosphere leaves a little to be desired but staff was wesome and nice. The food was great really good and spicy(ghost pepper cheese). Beer was a great selection but one of our pints was flat. Kids had Max n cheese which was homemade and bomb as fuck! I hate the belly burger and it was«mmmm…mmm that is one good burger». I will go back if given the opportunity and libate more generously.

I had the good fortune to find out that this place not only offers a strong selection of craft beers, many local Arizona brews, but on Sunday’s they offer smoked and grilled chicken wings. I would recommend smoking the wings a bit longer but the fact that they are grilled, versus being cooked in a fryer, is a nice change and I have a feeling the wings are a lot healthier. They also offer a variety of handmade dipping sauces — I’m a big fan of the soy-ginger sauce that has fresh ginger grated in it and i also liked the chimichurri sauce which has fresh mint and peppers so it is both refreshing and spicy. As for the beer, you can get a tasting flight and they have a fun little sheet where you can review the beers you selected. They also do a roasted pig dinner every few weeks, which I hope to try out next time I’m up there. I will definitely come here again next time I am up in the little town of Lakeside.

I was so looking forward to the slaw! Perfect combination of cranberries and jalapeños!!! But I was disappointed, I didn’t get any heat and there really wasn’t much flavor. That being said, the service was good and I ate the rest of my meal in enjoyment.(Hint: the pepper jack cheese is no joke!). My husband had a burger and a local beer and walked out extremely stuffed :) I will definitely stop again when in the area!

Truly wished that I lived closer to Moose Henri’s because it has the«beer after work» atmosphere! With so many Arizona craft beers to choose from, you have to try a flight first to get to know your beer! As I have, hopefully you find many favorites! Just a few worth mentioning: Black Horse Brewery Black Stallion(local Show Low brewery), Mud Shark Desert Magic IPA(Lake Havasu City brewery), Kilt Lifter(Tempe brewery) and anything from the Grand Canyon Brewing Co. What goes better with beer than food? My hands down favorites are the ceviche and the chicken wings. The ceviche is usually a Friday or Saturday night thing and the chicken wings are only on Sundays. Well, believe me, both are worth marking the days of the week on the calendar! The sauces served with the chicken wings make them the perfect meal for the whole family. They come on the plate naked(well, actually brined and grilled) with five different sauces: teriyaki, barbecue, ranch, buffalo and chimichurri. Personally, I love the chimichurri. Moose Henri’s has a great location, right on Hwy. 260 in Wagon Wheel(between Show Low and Pinetop-Lakeside), the staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is original and tasty, and the beer is, well, the beer tastes great by itself or with any of the food on the menu.

We came on a super busy night(pig roast), but the staff was accommodating. We would have liked to try the roast, but there was very little left by the time we got seated. We opted for the dinner menu which might have earned more stars had it not been so busy. The live music was quite good.

Cozy, divey sort of place. They have a slew of yummy micro brews, mostly from Arizona. The Desert Magic IPA is a must try. It didn’t punch me in the jaw like I prefer, but it’s one of the best flavored IPAs I’ve had. Imagine biting into grapefruit segments that are filled with IPA… yes! The burgers are so dang tasty, but too huge to finish(husband finished his… barely). The green Chile is mild yet flavorful. The ghost pepper jack cheese is amazing. It’s got tons of flavor and the right heat and just adds to the already yummy burger. The jalapeño cranberry slaw is crisp, light, and tasty. It is not drowned in sauce. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Go here. Try this. You’ll like it…

Wow. 28 different local micro brews on tap. Amazing burgers the size of your face. Friendly small town atmosphere with cool staff. They have a belly burger that is half pork belly and half Angus beef on a ciabata roll that comes out to roughly 1300 calories and 125% awesomeness.

Greeted as I sat down at the bar. Very friendly staff. Ordered a micro suggested by one of(evidently) the regulars who was sitting at a nearby table. Beer was very nice. Beer menu is posted on beam above bar. It would be a nice touch to have a printed one for those at the bar or in the South dining room though. I was initially going to have the moose burger, but the bartender suggested the ‘Belly Burger’; a beef patty with smoked pork mixed in. Ordered that medium with the chipotle coleslaw. Burger was cooked finely(I ordered it medium). I had it with ghost pepper cheese, and that paired well to cut the fattiness of the burger. It was a large(½ pound) burger. Coleslaw was delish.
